you doing you you waving pom poms on Sunday night were you you going out celebrating the others off to a Stanley Cup Final ah yeah we have to pom pom or to why not not really a pom pom guy there no Mr W uh no not a pom pom guy I was happy though I was I was happy no we uh we went out to the ended up going out to the cabin um I gu we was back from the cabin that night at that point so I was back because I did the pre postgame show obviously I was back um what about role playing night Cass you know the the quarterback and cheerleader you and the cheerleaders outfit I’m saying but whatever I know Mandy with the quarterback the the QB qb1 yeah I’m just going to leave that I’m just gonna leave that a reminder we got $100,000 qualifying opport or $100,000 hole in one qualifying opportunity later in the show we’ll also qualify for the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival VIP table uh July 13th uh to Kevin Hart um but yeah like overall how you guys feeling about this Edmonton Oilers team is uh as you head on looking towards the Stanley Cup I guess what are the biggest things you’ve taken away from uh the Oilers Series win about the against the Dallas Stars um I I think just the fact that questions have been answered um you all the narratives going into each series uh of one two and three you you can’t say that there’s there’s no depth you can’t make any any type of conversation about goal tending or uh even the fact that it’s a the defensive play of Theon Oilers it’s they’re a complete rounded team um now when you look across at the other side there’s there’s other challenges definitely but I I I I don’t get how aside from the first round that you could say maybe a little bit closer in the second but the Oilers have been underdogs for essentially three rounds here and I understand it but going into this series The the cavern between the two teams is is definitely not there either of these teams can win this St the cup Cass biggest takeaway from the series against the Stars yeah we’ll see um sorry everyone for the little show there I was trying to trying to fix the microphone see what’s going on very quiet still very quiet I mean I see if you guys to see if uh I don’t know if that’s Zach to come in there today Zach’s got you fully cranked maybe a a reset Cass well I’ll take it with it my end here in a minute well I might have to do a full reset um so we’ll we’ll try that out in a minute but in the meantime I’ll just swallow the microphone and talk me loudly [Music] um it’s gonna be an even series it’s going to be a lot of fun I will do a reset and we’ll see what happens you go you do that reset we’ll bring you back on uh in a bit Zach’s working on this so uh we’ll just have that question mark for a little bit um okay Gage like looking at goal tending what have you seen in Stuart Skinner’s play that has improved like we I was looking at his numbers since he came back in the Canuck Series in game six from game six and seven and through the Dallas star series he’s got a 919 save percentage um just in the Western Conference Finals alone it’s a 922 what have you seen differently from steuart Skinner in the last eight games that wasn’t necessarily there in the first what would have been three games against the Canucks um well you can you can tell his his confidence is back um but his his ability to essentially um make take a goal away and make the saves that he’s supposed to make to get the puck past Stuart Skinner it has to be right now which is usually the case with most goalies in the when they get to the Western Conference Final or eventually the Stanley Cup finals you have to do something pretty special to get the puck past them and uh I I forget who scored the the ridiculous goal in uh in game five uh I think it was Wyatt Johnson who actually turned his stick over on the toe of his stick and and created a ramp for it to go up and go top shelf like that’s that’s an amazing goal um the marchment goal in the last game it had to be a you know a bounce off the boards and a and kind of a lucky play getting out in front like these are everything and he’s making saves that maybe he has no business making um the the duchan shot you know he goes back the other way on him and kind of hits him in the shoulder and he doesn’t even realize it right these are he is giving the oil the uh the type of gold ending that’s required at this time of year and you’re just going to have to get in his eyes it’s going to have to be second chance opportunities um it’s playoff style goal tending Maddie and uh I’ve always thought he’s capable of it it’s just the matter of putting it together and he has I think your mic’s already sounding better Cass all right is that oh yeah that’s good go there we goic ears crisp yeah I don’t know what’s on I mean full reset sometimes the old Gauger have you unplugged it and plug it back in yeah turn power off and on many white right now Cass great how many times did you have to deal with that as a when at sha like how many times was it just a reset that was the fix B basically every single time yeah it’s it but the fact most people get mad at you when you do that um because you go in I I basically go out to my car and sitting there for a while and then just wait and come back in yeah yeah we looked at some stuff outside and I plugged it back in and it was it worked just fine but people get they want to make it look like you had to do something special to get their services back up um yeah everyone just try try a quick power cycle and usually that’s the biggest fix look it worked for cast just now yeah it worked it work now you just sound lovely now I sound lovely and I can comment on uh steuart Skinner and uh I mean I gager I don’t know I kind of had you in the camp of everyone else it was just like Skinner don’t trust him I don’t know how many times people said even in playoffs over and over again um I got called The Homer numerous times got called the president of the steuart Skinner fan club um numerous times by various people and they all the people like oh seriously Matt you could trust Skinner to get this team to a Stanley Cup Final you can trust him to do that you could TR you could trust steuart Skinner to do that you seriously think steuart Skinner can get well yeah he can and he did and I I do not feel my trust was misplaced he did exactly what he did during the regular season and yes they had to pull him for two games and it wasn’t just his fault in those instances it was not just his fault in those instances did he bear some of the blame yes absolutely he did um but again when I looked at the types of opportunities and was just like no this is a this is a team issue and when the team started to actually pull it together and play in front of them and play well in front of them you saw the exact type of goal tending that um that he’s capable of now they’re going to have to do it again against a a very very good Florida team and across from Ser Sergey bosski who has been playing very well this playoffs too so it’s and has we’ll call it the gamebreaking big save ability like just those superhuman out of nowhere no one thinks he’s going to make it safe and somehow makes it safe but broki does that on occasion um so you’re G to have to contend with that so you need more of uh that from Stuart Skinner but guys I uh and I missed some of what you talked about because I was resetting but uh I am not surprised that steuart Skinner played as well as he did no yeah I I think we all said I I mean I know I said that I always thought he was capable but I everyone that said oh he just needs to be okay I disagree entirely he couldn’t just be average goal tender he needed no I has to be above average average yeah it’s above average goal tending that the any team requires no one gets to the look the Dallas Stars had average goal tending I think if you looked at you know the play of of uttinger it was it was average goal tending for for this time of year and they didn’t they didn’t uh get to the next level yeah I I think steuart Skinner will play jakee a during that series I think we look on that and and go he made the extra saves that were necessary to ultimately get the Oilers to four wins and why the Dallas star stayed at two and there’s going to be a lot of confidence I think just overall now with the team inside the locker room especially um of having Stuart Skinner and N going into this series for a Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers um do you give this like is it pretty equal is the slight Edge go to Florida like if if you had to go with the series who’s got the advantage in the end are we looking at like every area or I’ll just go with the go ending right there it’s it’s even it’s completely even I’m sorry that’s not long-winded but no no that’s I think that’s exactly where I would put it too myself yeah yeah i’ I’d say pretty even I’d say pretty even yeah and again I’ll just throw the quick numbers of the Eastern Western Conference Finals barosi 921 save percentage Stuart Skinner 922 save percentage so it’s like dead on right there uh in that game as they clinch to get to the Stanley Cup Final it’s 10 shots the Oilers have on net um they gave up a lot of chances to the Dallas Stars um was that a game or like you thought the others needed to do a little now they ultimately get the win but you know they’re not going to win the Stanley Cup Final if they’re only getting 10 shots on net but I was watching that game and I felt they did a really good job though of while the stars were getting shots they were kept mostly to the outside and they protected the area in front of steuart Skinner very well that I wasn’t as you know up in that Press Box there were some people that were like a the others need to do more need to do more I I think they’re actually playing a really decent game actually in that sense how did you guys make how the Oilers clinched the spot in their Stanley Cup um well that I mean they after the first two goals they were lack of a better they were a frog’s bum they uh they you know they got watertight there for a while and um they kind of just tried to tried tried to hang on Connor said it it wasn’t their best effort right but uh yeah there was some puckering for sure and they they were able to coax that to the end oh yeah it was it was uh hang on for dear life um I will agree with you though uh Maddie that they they did protect the middle of the ice well and they cleared secondary chances so it’s like there when there was one chance there generally wasn’t two um and so they cleared it well but it was it was scrambly survive hold on um and play against a des team especially after uh that first goal of Dallas’s went in where it was just like it was it was bucker time as gager said uh major majorly um but they they hold on and who cares right like who cares now you can’t have that same effort every game against the Florida Panthers it’s not going to work but every good team and we could look at probably pretty much every single playoff run or vast majority of them at least and look at some of the games in those series and say there is going to be a game where your goenda you out where you didn’t play well maybe you got an early lead maybe you got a lucky bounce and the other team outplayed you and your goalie got you through it and that’s that clinching game against Dallas where no they didn’t play great but their power play was good enough early on that it got them the lead and they were able just to sit back and hold on to it not a recipe for Success every game in a series but who cares you you clinch the western conference with it like Sam Bennett at the combine doing a chin just holding on I think it was a pull-up let’s be it was a pull-up not a chin up could do a pull-up or something that’s yeah I think that’s the story uh 780 218 9999 that is the Paris drers inbox you can text any questions you hello gentlemen quick question do you think this long 5-day layoff is going to hurt the Oilers they had this happen after after their 16 game winning streak uh what do you guys make of this five five days off both teams having to go through it this the Panthers get the one extra day because they clenched the day earlier but they’re both dealing with the layoff this isn’t like the’ 06 when the Oilers had a longer layoff than the Carolina Hurricanes um but does this rest of a week help or hurt the Eon Oilers in your eyes Cass um I I mean it’s it’s even for both teams I think it helps Eon that if have guys that are nicked up because guys are going to be nicked up you know Vander Kane you know one for one leaving the game um probably related to his athletic Pub belgia ongoing most likely I would assume that that’s what flared up and so you’re just like okay you know a couple extra days helps you get through that um helps with Connor helps with Leon helps with eckholm helps with Bard guys that have played a lot of minutes um it uh it just benefits you now Florida has got the same thing and you could say the same thing about their players and that it’s going to benefit them too so I mean they’re both the length of a break where it’s a wash you know this isn’t a situation where you have one team that has a really long break and one that’s really short where you’re like ah the rest versus rust I mean it’s both teams have rest and rust I will say it puts more of an onus on the team that wakes up first in game one um that cleans off that rust in game one quicker and gets up to the speed uh but I I could very well see that there’s not much of that for both teams just from an emotional standpoint being that it’s the Stanley Cup Final you’re you’re probably going to see him both come out of the gate flying so I I don’t know I don’t I think if anything it it helps Edmonton um but it also helps Florida and that ends up kind of being a wash similar to goal tending just kind of a wash yeah I I agree with you Cass I if I’m going to lean one way or the other I give the slight Edge to to Edmonton just to to heal some bumps and bruises um looks like Florida’s a quite a healthy team last year I forget what it was didn’t they have like over a week off but like 10 days or something 10 days till the final and that hurt them going into and I mean they were they were a broken down crew at that point too which didn’t help but the fact that you know the that they both have basically the equal amount of time off here um I it’s quite even with a just maybe a slight edge with as Cass mentioned the the athletic pubalgia um maybe the slight Edge does go to Edmonton uh car uh Florida Advanced on May 24th to the Stanley Cup Final last year June 3rd uh they played their first game so so there was a bit of a break there um media lost the first two games 5272 I I think from a entertainment perspective giving two teams a chance to be a little more healthy going into a cup final um should lead to a better series even those days off between games um but if either of you two were Chris no and I don’t know the full schedule uh for the oers this week uh they had yesterday off today there was media veils um how would you map out the of this week for the Oilers uh is there a lot of you know full on ice time practices and when would you fly out to Florida when would you want to get out to the to the east coast because one you’ve got a it’s furthest North team in North American Sports taking on the furthest south team in North American like for um the major leagues that we cover uh and you’re also having to take two times zone difference when would you want to fly out if you’re the Emon or if you two guys had at all power and were Chris noblock yeah I’m I’m flying out on Thursday in the afternoon skate here fly out Thursday afternoon um have two nights to catch up I mean you’re you’re night an hour from a time zone standpoint um so being able to uh have two nights I think is ideal get used to the ice skate down there be down there less distractions there will be less distractions in Florida um and you’re probably doing a more full practice and by full I mean like 45 minutes um tomorrow and then you’re back to your 15 20 minutes skate on Thursday 152 minute skate on Friday and then ready to roll for Saturday um that’s what I would do um we’ll see if I’m correct I think I take the red eye on Wednesday night no no I’m kidding no I if if it’s time I maybe like Thursday Thursday morning you know get in there practice um and just yeah like Cass said get it climatized to the it’s G to be hot down there you know just let the body adjust a little bit to that uh to that South Florida kind of air and then uh give yourself a day or two to to get ready for this down there and and things I I agree with Cass on that one Cass when you’re talking about those distractions you can’t be talking about things like that the guy that the video with Conor McDavid now what kind of distraction is that you know it’s that’s not going to happen down there in Florida probably not no not going to get swamped by people um by the way don’t do that if you ever see him out and about please don’t please don’t do that yeah that’s not uh not wise just not smart just don’t just don’t do that yeah no that was if if anything help with the booze get it into the back of the lambo Jesus come on that’s that was the most disrespectful fans I’ve ever seen the fact that try not even letting Connor get it’s kind of comical now like I’m sure that’s there’s going to be a lot of memes with with that but I mean Lauren’s standing there with with help yeah three three or four cases of white claw you know get let help her out be a gentle the back of the car yeah that’s all it is there even just like hey do you need some help with that if they say no okay then you walk away but I think you throw that offer do you want some help loading that in there’s a lot there for you and again like I mentioned in in the morning show there’s contract years coming up you you you got to think about this type of thing help Conor with these types of things don’t don’t for you that’s all you have to do yeah move on yeah yeah uh one another text I wanted to do get to is this from Eden afternoon boys how did the Oilers stop the Panthers from abusing them this series I’m thinking of 2011 when Vancouver where power play merchants in the refs called nothing that series Marshawn punch in the face repeatedly in front of the official and nothing happened um there has been some talk on the station today about how you know Panthers little more physical team the Oilers going up against that how do you think the Oilers match up you know with the Panthers in their physicality and how to that texter Eden’s question do the ERS stop the Panthers from abusing them this series gager I don’t I don’t think there’s been a game where the the Oilers have been pushed around to the point that you worry about them um this is the reason that you have certain individuals on in your lineup that can play hard between the whistles Evander Kane this this if it does get to this point I think uh the implementation of of Corey Perry like he he bodess well in this series uh we talked about possible line changes Warren Fogle has proven that he’s able to finish checks and play at a high speed and you know there’s not much after the whistle but there there’s definitely something there um no I don’t this isn’t a case where they’re going up against you know the oogo torp here this is and if they did then they they Feast on the power play you know like like you mentioned M maybe a little gamesmanship at times is I is needed as as well right no this isn’t uh it poke the bear see what happens the I expect the Oilers to be a more physical team from from this last series against the Stars I they play better when in a more physical series I think um yeah this is a this is going to be I think more enjoyable to watch than that Dallas star series that was a great Series yeah yeah it’ll be a different series it’ll be a different series um the other there’s biggest weapon against physicality is going to be their power play if it’s clicking like it was the last couple games because it’s it’s like yeah you you could have Matthew kachuck and some guys trying to take advantage of Emon trying to Stir It Up physically um but all it takes is one or two power plays where you burn them and all of a sudden the throttle has to come off slightly or a little bit and you burn them again it’s got to come down even more um now you just hope you hope that the officials call it straight and and Maybe by straight I mean they just they call it um the same way from the start of the series to the end of the series what’s apparently at the starts apparently at the end um and all the way through the middle uh because then you kind of get a gauge of where it’s at but e does have guys that can push back a little bit we’ll see with Evander Kane see where he’s at you know darnel nurse the last couple games of the series way more physical way more nasty um against Dallas he needs to carry that in that’s another guy that can respond physically so you have players that are going to or should be able to do that I I wouldn’t say I’m worried about it where I see that physicality being a challenge is for Edmonton’s defenseman moving the puck to the forwards in that transition game um you know how are they going to deal with that physicality Under Pressure not that I worry about Florida just being dirty but I worry about Edmonton not making good plays Under Pressure because that’s at times during the season when Edmonton really struggled was when teams really consistently were able to uh apply that and force uh turnovers and force troubles in emt’s transition game what do you think we’re going to see from kachuck in this series because the last time we saw the that player take on the Emon Oilers in the playoffs it started off in that flame series just what you guys kind of were talking but in that game one he got under the Oilers skin and it allowed the Calgary Flames to win that hockey game then the rest of the series the Oilers almost even like the LA Series this year they just allowed kachuck and the team to do what they wanted to and then they just took the power play opportunities that came from that and beat the Calgary Flames and destroy the Calgary Flames what do you you think the Oilers could try to get that Oda kachu again where he might be too focused on trying to get under their skins or has he changed and evolved a little bit as a player that what you’ve seen so far when you’ve watched the Panthers that you don’t think that’s going to come out this series I I don’t know how much you watched of Florida but I find that the way kachuck plays is um you know standard kachuck style finishing checks being aggressive but you don’t see too much of the of the extracurricular unless un they’re they’re down or or need a boost like then you’ll see them kind of lingering in the crease at that point maybe an extra push or leaving his stick between someone’s legs and you that’s when you see him kind of revert to the to the to the turtle as as we spoke this morning um those type of antics and listening to Paul Maurice talk in his interview he’s he’s matured a lot he he picks his spots a little bit more I think Maddie so um I think it depends on the situation of the game then it it depends on the Oilers discipline as well like how do you handle that um look they they have the Oilers have in their possession one of the biggest pests over the last couple decades in in this league in uh in Corey Perry I think he can out kachuck kachuck if uh or how much wood can kachuck I I don’t know how this goes but how much W could kachuck chuck if kachuck could chuck wood yeah there it is there’s a guy KCK chuck [ __ ] chuck perfect yeah Cass what do you think we’re gonna get from from kachuk this series The R king I mean I he’s going to play his game he’s going to try to frustrate he’s going to try to score he’s going to be in it he’s going to be around it after the whistle um will be a very different look in that regard from the Dallas series which was like you know that that team had him like no scrums nothing nothing where we could accidentally take a py or take a py or have our emotions get out of check it was like out of the scrums there there was like no scrumps there’s barely any pushing and shoving it was just like just go play and get out of there um I don’t think this same is g to hold for this series especially if that New York series is telling it all of how Florida is going to play which I think it is so you’re gonna see a lot of them he’s going to be frustrating your job is going to be not to get frustrated by it don’t get sucked into anything that’s that’s going to be and that’s going to be the conversation in the room is just don’t get sucked into his Antics like you have to stop him from playing well you have to stay between him and the net box him out um clear away he’s four Gam away for legacy purposes getting that ring finally and I I throw Leon in that conversation as well that as much as you know the Oilers have been playing well like now it’s they they could see it they could see the cup there they could see the ring do you agree with that assessment a little bit that Conor McDavid is prying to go off in this series partly because he is playing for not just the Oilers and winning a cup but for his legacy in the Stanley Cup finals best player in the world wants to win hold on to that I think you’re gonna see him show up gager yeah there’s there’s a uh I I I think because you know and I Look to people being there before and the and the the looking at the Florida Panthers they were so they were close last year didn’t get they have that that uh lack of a better term the sour taste in their mouth but the Oilers have a lot of sour taste too you know they’ being in Florida you know the the talk of the Stanley Cup is not on the Forefront of a lot of people’s minds I don’t think and here it’s a little bit different and not having that success over the last you know number of years when they’ve had really good competitive teams that’s lit the fire even more and you mentioned it Matty solidifying the Legacy I think you can you can put money on Connor at least one game going Supernova here and just having Paul Maurice and the bunch just shaking their heads and and almost essentially we got beat by the ability of Conor McDavid to beat a team almost single-handedly he’s probably one of the only guys that can do that and at this stage you’ve seen it before he’s done it before if kolette had a thing on an Connor going off I’d put money on it uh so coat’s lines we just went through Huss and I uh on Lock Shop I’ll pull it up here quickly before I get to where I want to go with this um bigger and hotter headlines cuz there’s a headline I want to read from the Miami Heralds uh let me just quickly pull up this series Conor McDavid total goals in the series uh it’s set at two and a half goals um so minus 133 for over two and a half plus 100 for under two and a half and then his points total for the series is set at N9 and a half so 10 points or more um as hus said on the lock shop if he’s hitting over probably likely the Oilers are winning this down the cup but like he he’s a guy that could go off for two points a game and to hit the over on those points it could take him just five games to do that so that’s what you have at cool BET right now I want to read something from the Miami Herold I don’t know if you guys know who Greg Cody is longtime journalist out there I don’t know if you’ve seen these headline yet no nope okay um the headline from GRE Cod Conor McDavid is overrated okay I’m going I’m going to read into this number one because he has a bunch of points for this series number one Conor McDavid he’s a he’s a guy that’s been on the D leard show a lot he long time columnist of Miami old one carer McDavid is overrated boom he puts up big impressive stats yes fine but should he be called quote unquote generational called the best player in the sport when in nine Seasons he’s yet to lead his team to a Stanley Cup emont truly has one of those players once his name was Wayne Gretzky he’s why the Oilers won a bunch of f five Stanley Cups McDavid no Gretzky he had the requisite nicknames mcjesus the chosen one but he has not proven Beyond stats Transcendent able to lift a franchise to Ultimate Heights Mick overrated do you think is could this be a Michael Jordan moment for Conor says like yeah about McDavid when the team he covers is playing them in the Stanley Cup Final yeah McDavid is overrated yeah he’s not generational yeah okay I don’t know if you guys have ever watched I think it was uh Ryan Whitney he was on one of the sports shows and they were they were making the comparison like I think they were talking about Conor McDavid and saying he’s he’s not the Ryan Whitney was trying to say that he was one of the most dominant players if not the most dominant player in all sports but it’s it’s very difficult to compare Sports and they were trying to compare basketball to hockey and saying well he’s only out how can he only be out there for for two minutes uh you know how you know we’ve got guys that stay out there for 45 it it you can’t compare the two like if you were to tell a basketball player to run you know full out almost for for a minute there’s no way he could he could keep that up over that whatever the 20 minute time span that they’re on the court so this is a this is a case where unfortunately I think they’re their American is showing um and maybe just only watching the uh the Florida Panthers I mean we could you could kind of make a a case of barov not getting his fair Shake maybe that’s what he’s trying to do I mean I do believe barov does belong in in the higher Echelon of of NHL players for sure because he is a he is a great player but let’s face it he’s not Conor McDavid like if there’s a player you don’t want to poke it would be Conor McDavid I would think and it’s like if I’m Palmer and I’m seeing that I’m going Jesus Greg you know we already have the plan to go up against these guys and now you may have given him some sort of motivation um I I guess how much does that actually play in locker room motivation from outside noise like media articles it plays it’s called bullton board material for a reason the quotes go up on the board and they don’t come off like they they are up there quotes from the other team quotes from The Press how can it not play into your psyche of wanting to stick it to that person and to show them it absolutely does 100% it does this undoubtedly this will be up on the bulletin board unquestionably this will be up I mean further on that article because I was just scrolling through you know he also he also takes a bite at uh not not a big one but he takes a bite at dry Sidle and Zack Heyman so yeah I mean is to to quote from it ‘s big three is McDavid Leon dry on zackman I’ll take Florida’s barov kachuck and bosski over top of that like that’s going on the board like he’s Stop Pals you guys try to get them in on a regular basis but life gets in the way of of Dusty uh look there is a big F1 race this weekend it’s in our country it’s our race we are all part of an F1 fantasy league we’ve got a few minutes here you guys are a part of that wow wow fired there there’s nothing I can say material buet material Cass trying to write for the Miami Herald right now I just I just want a job I just want job I’ll be great Cody Matt cassian’s overrated in fantasy of F1 yeah leading all categories overrated what do you guys make of this upcoming race out in Montreal it’s well if you look at the weather um it’s going to be wet so this is this is another one where it’s like what Anything Can Happen uh I I predict at least a few dnfs during the race um qualifying is going to be very interesting with with the with the timing of the rain and and if there if the track does dry up at a certain point and if the rain comes again it looks like it’s going to rain the whole time so man it’s uh it it’s try to put your lineup together with the best guys that have done well when it when it does rain and that is actually Lance stroll he’s a he’s a master when it’s wet it seems like so maybe you know finally we get to see old Lance do something uh so we go from uh Charles lir winning the home race to Lance stroll winning the home race let’s not go crazy here m but um no I I mean when the water comes in it it makes watching it way more enjoyable especially if it if it’s intermittent raining um hopefully it doesn’t postpone anything and they have to like I hate when it starts raining and they just say it’s they can’t do it and don’t try like the the full wet tires that’s what they’re designed for um but hopefully it it can proceed without too much delay this this Red Bull get back to being Red Bull here like at what point are they back I’m going full I’m going full Red Bull so every every single person on my team is Red Bull that’s what I’m doing this week did they make the right move by extending Perez for another year yeah Tio’s been fine I I think they’re fine they’re fine with that um I mean I’d be more worried about keeping for sta at happy but maybe that’s what that move is about too well I I I don’t think you’re risking the challenge with firstapp and with Perez on the team yeah yeah that’s what I mean he’s uh it’s kind of his seasons have mirrored like it’s a good start kind of struggles the struggles have come in lately um especially in Monaco there but he he seems like he’s embraced the the number two role aside from yeah aside from last race with what happened he’s been okay uh but I I’m a little bit surprised I thought you know they they they do want a challenge for the constructors that’s where the big money’s in uh where it comes in at at the end of the year so he’s got a lot of work to do the rest of the season if if Red Bull you know wants to finish as the constructors because I think they’re getting a lot of pressure from McLaren and Ferrari so well then where’s the best spot for science going into next year is it just naturally Mercedes I don’t know I to see that car the way it performs I don’t think it is the best spot it might be the most comfortable spot but I do think he still wants to challenge um I I don’t know I maybe you look somewhere else maybe it’s May I don’t know I I just just don’t think Mercedes is a good fit for Carlos I think it’s somewhere else interesting take um no no um here’s what I see happening is he goes to Mercedes because I think it’s the comfortable Choice as you said and I think they sell him on the pitch of improving the car and of getting to the point where he can challenge with Mercedes um and then I also think that for next season that means that I’m just going to be all in on Mercedes 100% my F1 team oh you can’t be all in on Mercedes next year yeah y Ferrari is the Ferrari is showing me everything I need to see to see that when lwis is there him and Charles there’s going to be right those two will be one two I’m calling that next year I’ll call my shot right now one and two and F1 next year Ferrari with the big race Red Bull drops back a little bit Ferrari takes the step forward especially when when l goes in a car that people now are going to like no one at Mercedes cares about lwis right now no they don’t so he’s just riding out this year he’ll go into a car that’s better and we know what Lewis can do when he’s got a car and that’s going to force the besto of Charles lir and Red Bull we’re starting to see the cracks based on that as as Gage you’ve talked about is it the wind tunnel training or that’s this was this was the year that they were going to say after the the salary cap um overage and the penalties incurred was wind tunnel time they didn’t think it was going to make an effect last year this is the time where all that extra you know time in the Wind Tunnel with other teams especially McLaren Ferrari um I’m surprised Aston Martin’s not closer we’ll see what happens once they get back to to Europe and sort of put more of those upgrades on there but um yeah I think it’s look at the one glap base guys I’ve said it numerous times it’s hundreds now it’s just the race Pace I’m it I’m looking forward to free practices see where it’s at eston okan somebody take a shot of him next year I don’t think so he’s done no
