to is that you said French to okay cool sound you ready yeah yeah yeah all good all right Victor great playing 64 today what was clicking today and how did it feel out there yeah it was really good obviously uh you know it’s one of those I was Rory was playing just in front of us with Mark and you know we obviously a lot of big crowds and so you get quite a bit of energy once your your round gets going um just happy to hit you know few balls close few putts and and really put a a solid run for for this Saturday did you feel good this morning about your prospects to go low uh I mean you never um I try not to be too biased with my my feels you know before the round because you know sometimes you feel good you don’t play good and you feel bad you play great so I try not to you know pay too much attention but I’ve had you know some good sessions uh on the Range play some good rounds um really haven’t had this type of round where you kind of feel like the round’s going and you can you know you hit a ball that usually maybe go to eight feet and they goes to tap in and kind of freeze you for a free birdie so it was one of those and I’m uh excited for tomorrow do you envision like following the action this afternoon to see what the league gets to or do you kind of unplug and then just see what it is like in the morning yeah it was it was a bit weird with the with the tea time and the leaders teeing off so late cuz I felt like you know it was 3:25 last off we were at 12 so we were pretty much going to be done we just saw inside I think there are three holes in um so it obviously makes a it’s kind of hard to relate because the course will play different um so I I just try to focus on me uh as of now I know it’s a little cliche to say but um uh yeah hopefully put a good one tomorrow in the Austin Matthews Jersey that was fun on 1 what was that yeah my agent’s a big Toronto Leafs fan so uh was a little shout out to them um and I’m sure the people appreciated it try to show a little support it’s great to be in Toronto and um and yeah it was just a little a little note have you been to a hockey game or no I haven’t unfortunately I heard like right now it’s like it’s all over the TV with the playoffs so I’ve been following and you know between you know my my uh trainer as well is a big hockey guy so I’ve been following closely and watching the games at night which every night pretty much so it’s been fun um to follow and uh but no I haven’t I haven’t unfortunately been able to go but I really want to have do you have an American base now or what’s it been like like that transition to playing the PGA Tour um in uh 2020 2021 when I’ve was playing here through top 50 I wasn’t and basically we’re flying back to the UK every time but we live in the Bahamas now so it makes quite a a nice little base to be away from the tour during the weeks off and and obviously avoid the long trip back to Europe which is kind of taxing and I think a lot of players have now made the the decision and you see with every you know great Europeans over the years they’ve all moved to you know Florida Arizona somewhere to limit the travel and be able to practice in good condition the whole year what made you decide the Bahamas uh a combination of things I won’t get too much into details but um yeah we really enjoy it there it’s been the people have been great with us and uh and yeah it’s just you know life in the Bahamas not shab say what what was the reaction from the crowd when you put the Jersey on how can you describe that yeah I think it was cool um I was a little bummed that I bogy 12 right before you know I would have liked to like go in with a birdie or something but it was it was cool I think people enjoy it it was just like like I was saying like Rory was the group before so it was kind of packed it was funny cuz when we were on a whole I think 12 like going to 13 you kind of see whole five and it seems like you know crowds were really following you know Tommy and Rory and um some of the some of the bigger names in the in the tournament so it it was nice to have a good energy and I think you know it’s still entertainment at the end of the day and if you you know there’ be no tournament if there’d be no players but there’ be no tournament if there are no fans either and um I think it’s great to show a little uh give back to them and I think it gets the people going and and it’s great and they they banged on the boards for yeah yeah exactly yeah they were going
