he has been trending so no surprise that he’s on the first page of that leaderboard you start out with a bogey on the second hole but why emphasize the negative you have five birdies after that it seemed like you had pretty good control of your golf ball how would you describe that round thanks Todd so kind of you um yeah you know it’s uh this week has just been about taking a one shot at a time and figuring out what you have and and playing golf and um if I do put a bad swing on it not worry about it and not try something new and just go on the next one and try and execute that one and um feel like I’ve done a good job of that and I’ve got 18 more to do that so that sounds more mental than mechanical is that right yeah I’d say it’s you know it’s been fairly mental um swing’s good enough you know to put together scores right now you know maybe it’s not perfect but um I’ve done it without perfect and and you know I look forward to tomorrow for sure you look at this leader board you’ve got yourself you’ve got Xander you’ve got siah he’s top 15 player in the world Shane shoots a 62 today uh Bryson’s a major Champion for fans and media members it’s exciting when you have those great on the leader board is it exciting for you when you look at that leader board and and the players you’re going to have to try to beat tomorrow yeah I mean it’s a major championship so you expect to see that um but like I’m not trying to beat him I’m trying to win this tournament and I’m trying to do what I need to do um I’ve got a game plan I mean I’ve kind of executed so far through three days and you know we’re going to look forward to tomorrow things change you know sometimes you have to adapt and that’s golf but uh you know I feel like I’m I’m prepared for that so I’m look forward to that alling the final round what is your focus uh one shot at a time you know it’s it’s a very cliche thing to say um but I think it sticks true for me um I look back at the past month and the kind of the mistakes I’ve made over the few tournaments um especially looking back at Augusta that you know look you got to focus on one shot at a time
