it’s semifinal Saturday for both Valley View softball and baseball Valley View softball will kick it off this afternoon as they get set to take on Sheridan in the 5A State semifinals welcome in to the afternoon Valley View at 21- 8 12 and2 in conference play in the regular season Sheridan at 25-2 on the year they went 16-0 in conference play in the regular season yesterday Valley View went into extras with Greenwood it was tied at two going into the ninth inning but a five Run ninth inning helped Valley View come out with a s to3 victory in yesterday’s contest Valley View got a run in the top of the seventh to tie it up and then in that five Run ninth was the difference racy tally along with McKenzie Whitlock and Ellie Dawson all chipping into drivein runs in the ninth inning meanwhile for Sheridan they’re coming off of a game that went to eight yesterday they went into extras tied with Mell at one and then a triple to score the game-winning run by the leadoff hitter Skyler Sterrett was the difference in the game as they were able to win 2 to one yesterday afternoon there was a combined 14 hits in the game six of which came from Sheridan in yesterday afternoon’s contest should be
