will forget somebody I guarantee it but sometime this just happens organically I didn’t have this planned out that I was going to talk about this so Cortez Kennedy that’s the episode today Number 96 we could there’s two debates one the greatest defensive player in Seahawks history is there a debate on that one now I would think for for a defensive player we’re talking about three that are in the conversation okay for you old for you young guys you may not remember this Ken Easley is in there so I think it’s Ken Easley it’s Bobby Wagner Cortez Kennedy who am I missing am I missing who am I missing of that group anybody else let’s see our old Thomas would have before he probably went crazy and had a threesome with his brother and was pointing guns at people Richard Sherman you know he’s a fringe conversation guy there’s three it’s it’s just three it’s it’s Kenny it’s Bobby and it’s Cortez Kennedy so now I think there’s a debate there although I don’t think it’s a strong debate you got to remove the whole he played on a shitty team which he did I mean all of his teams were shitty but for a period of time in like a long period of time I mean he was the defensive player of the year on a team that won two games for a period of time he was the most dominant football player defensive football player uh in the league okay so I’m going Cortez Kennedy is the greatest defensive player in Seahawk’s history now is he the greatest football player in seah’s history and I think again there’s three people it’s Cortez it’s Walter Jones it’s Steve Largent who of those three three is the greatest Seahawks football player oh God terrible God my heart wants to say Largent because the 10-year-old in me loved Steve Largent and still does the 10-year-old who just you cut him open and outpour those damn silver helmets out of my bloodstream so my heart wants to stay say Steve LaRon my head wants to say Walter Jones because of just how dumb dominant he was he just so damn good I mean you argument that he’s maybe the best left tackle in football history at least it’s got to be in the conversation I don’t think Cortez maybe Falls in that category probably is H you know when you start debating if you got some old football NFL Minds around is he the greatest defensive player of all time defensive tackle he probably not going to come up on a lot of people’s list just because of how bad the team was not like Walter Jones played for a bunch of great teams either though that’s a great debate though I got to think about that one I I think I probably answered it my heart wants to say larent my head wants to stay wants to say Walter Jones but God damn it Cortez was so good God for you people who never got to watch him he kind of was he wasn’t really a he wasn’t athletic and he had like this pot belly and he had this D great just like Southern lisp and he always was smiling all the time even when the team was so terrible the I think I hold a special place in my heart for Cortez Kennedy my mom or you know my little my little German mom I called her happy Mother’s Day oh that’s okay I didn’t even know today was happy Mother’s Day really you didn’t know Sunday was Mother’s Day here’s the things I I believe her that she didn’t know um my mom worked in the airline industry for Delta well she worked for a lot of airlines PanAm then it turned into Western Airlines if anybody remembers Western Airlines and then Delta Airlines a part of her role was in like um corporate reservations Mark well not marketing but corporate reservations uh for like companies and entities that needed to like block out flights and things then she kind of morphed into I don’t want to kind of say like the celebrity side of things but kind of into the like well-known side of things uh for people that wanted to book flight so I mean I got to know kind of a lot of people and got the best thing growing up was she used to work and handle like the Super Sonics account and so I would get like just free tickets all the time growing up to go to Sonics games all the time but she would always work with Cortez Ken uh with flights he Cortez Kennedy ended up being like her personal like travel agent even though that wasn’t even such a thing there but he got to know her through like this golf charity that they were doing and that he she would always have to be like the one arranging all the flights and then she would just talk directly to him so they kind of became friends and so I never I never even got got to meet him but just got to hear the stories through my mom and it was funny to hear her tell the stories cuz she would be like he’s just such a nice man he’s just just wonderful so down to earth and then you’d hear Cortez and I remember one time he left her a message on our home phone for some reason maybe my mom was stepping out on my dad I don’t know and about a flight and he just you I’m GNA try and do this and I’m going to butcher him yo Ellie there you I’m sounding like New York Vining okay I know this sounds like New York Vinnie but there was a little New York Vinnie in t this is t uh got to fly to Miami you got to give me a call right now got to got to set this up right wait again that’s a little Cortez but it’s a lot and it’s too much New York Vinnie okay so it’s hard for me I’m not good at it’s hard for me to se uh separate New York Vinny and Cortez Kennedy but anyways episode 96 Cortez Kennedy leave a comment below I think he’s the greatest defensive player in Seahawks history I don’t really think it’s much of a debate and I think number two is Kenny Easley and the number three is Bobby Wagner and then the greatest Seahawk player in history larged for me that’s the heart right there there’s the heart the head is Walter the little kid would probably say Cortez Kennedy all right that last night was George Kirby right there that was the guy that we were asking for yesterday that’s EX exactly what we wanted to see that’s what I asked for and begged for yesterday when we did the daily puck drop the dpd 7 Innings six strikeouts zero runs the MLB uh or the mayin pr staff had this stat 20 quality starts with zero walks in his career it’s the most in Major League Baseball uh since he has made his debut it’s seven more seven than the next closest pitcher Zack effin Zack Allen and Logan Webb and then after the game I just love this quote big thanks to Ryan divish for sending this over I just love what he said post game following that contest I’d like to be pissed off when I pitch so I know I like it it’s just part of my game I like just to be pissed off out there you’re goddamn right you do that’s the guy when he pitches with anger and he’s mad at the world and maybe that’s not a great one way to live your life but that’s when he’s at his best that’s when he’s vintage and there was just the last two starts and we talked about this yesterday in the daily punch drob brought this up to Bill Krueger brought this up to Jim dukette there was just something off with him the knee thing and then coming out of the last game he was leaving all the fast balls over the plate they’re hitting for home runs and all that and they pulled him out of the game and people wonder why they pulled them out is it what what’s going on that’s the thing with these athletes all the time it’s just not physical injuries it’s always it’s also too of something going on in their personal life you know something that we don’t know about that we shouldn’t know about but he just had been a tick off and yesterday with those those shoes that he was wearing I texted divish I asked him if he’d ever wore those navy shoes before he said yes I don’t ever remember seeing those it was kind of like a throwback I thought they were black there for a second but those kind of looked kind of cool too he just you know it didn’t start off great for him he had The Bases Loaded in the first in he’s hitting guys I kind of like that he’s hitting guys but he um when he pitches on the edge of the anger and just the uh the that’s why they call him Furious George just that that um that just chip on his shoulder he’s so damn effective and he just is so emotional and that can go either way I mean you could be it could be dangerous at times because it can really screw you up but I think more often than not when he pitches like that a badass uh um that’s when he’s at his best and he proved it yesterday because he’s going up against a great pitcher there for the rose and and singer the offense came through they delivered it for him but he was the one who set the tone and really carried it they are 19 and nine when they hit a home run in a game which is just remarkable 17 and three when they score four more runs they struck out 10 times yesterday with hit two home runs the uh France home run and then the Luke rley home run so again you can strike out and that’s fine and that’s just the their MMO of their offense is that they’re going to have a lot of strikeouts and if they hit home runs with their starting pitching their win when they strike out a lot and they don’t hit home runs they won’t win there you go that’s it it was great to see Luke rayley uh he he clearly is begging for more playing time 375 batting average in May his Ops is over, 1.13 uh canzon is getting closer to coming back uh rley though making a case to play more and has played a bunch of games at first base so that’s an option for you when when Dom canzone comes back and he’s down in Tacoma on a couple of Rehab start so getting closer to coming back you just give Luke rayley a first baseman’s glove and throw him there you know it was good to see Ty France with the home run last night but again he’s got to get going Luke reallyy it’s the same thing with Josh Roos that we talked about you just can’t take these guys out of the lineup you can’t stop screwing around with platoon sometimes you just got to ride the hot hand and Luke rley deserves to play more and obviously will play more when they when they face well they’re going to face a lot of right-handers anyway so he should just be playing damn near almost every day he’s earned that right as of now and if it runs out okay it runs out good fine all right then we just you reposition you move someplace else I mean this is right now is going to be their team there really is there is no help on the way for them other than you get canzone back maybe he makes a little bit of a difference I’m not going to depend too much on them JP Crawford is getting close to coming back they both should be back for that road trip in Baltimore Al so that’ll be nice to get Crawford back it lengthens out the lineup a little bit we’ll see what they do do they move Josh roas out of the leadoff spot again I’d keep him there and find well let me backtrack I would throw Crawford back in there I would move roas down to second but again they’re never going to do it I know uh Jude if you’re listening watching I’m a dinosaur I still would try the IDE I still would try it the M’s bet under losing streak now sits at 5 damn it we’re not on a roll anymore guys total was six and a half we have divish on and then we’ve got Brad Adam on we’re going to change some things up a little bit uh with the NFL schedule and all that we’ll get to in a second seven game tester they’ll comeing for the Mariners after that that I can’t wait because you know the Mariners are playing good baseball and Des despite how their offense has played their pitching is just so damn good but you want to see them be tested against some of the better teams in the American League and they get that right after Kansas City I mean they’re getting it now with the Royals but they get it even more on the road with three games against Baltimore than four games against the New York Yankees and then when they play Baltimore it’s always a great time to revisit our friend who covers baseball for uh Toronto Ben my beautiful daughter Maria Lola Pucket has turned 15 today which is unbelievable how much time flies and everybody and everyone that’s a parent you probably I’m speaking uh directly to you and you’re like nodding your head wherever you’re at watching or listening to this going it goes by fast god damn it does it go by fast I mean just yesterday she was five years old and were camping on Father’s Day and she’s pooping in the woods now and now she’s 15 with makeup on uh wearing clothes that pisses me off and you know a year away from driving so it it goes by fast she would I you know I’m trying not to get emotional here but if if I do I it’s okay she is the best of my wife and myself now really the best of my wife and then myself there’s like a little bit there’s a sliver of it there uh but she is the best of us and I think you know that’s all you want right as as a parent is your kids to be kind of the best version of yourself they’re going to make mistakes she no doubt will well I know my son will there 100% he’s going to make mistakes but she has been great she is she’s funny as hell she’s outgoing she is bright she is self-motivated she is just an the most badass all-around girl that I know and uh it is it is just so much fun to watch her uh grow up uh I do everything for her uh soft spot that’s never going to change most dads I think with daughters you understand that uh she has me wrapped around uh her finger some will say well that’s bad you don’t I don’t think it’s bad I think it’s great uh she works so damn hard at everything School uh sports or gymnastics I mean this girl goes and and goes to school every single day gets out at 2:30 gets in a car well you know not just a random car you know my car and you know we drive her 30 5 minutes over to to do gymnastics and she does that 5 days a week gets home at 8:30 you know eats dinner does homework goes to bed every single day her work ethic is second to none and and it’s and I’ve told her many many times her work ethic and how she conducts herself is something that it I get motivated from her you know usually right I think the kid should get motivated from the parent uh but her work ethic and how she goes about it and how she’s just stayed self-motivated and how you know her friends are doing all these fun things and it’s not like she doesn’t do anything fun but you know at times is she missing out on some things but and we always check in with her hey it’s you know let’s re-evaluate it what do you want to do I’m good and I just think the work ethic and the stuff that she’s putting in right now when she gets older is just going to help her immensely um I just never seen anybody work so damn hard I didn’t work that hard at all and that’s why she uh motivates me happy birthday uh to my beautiful daughter turning 15 today I didn’t get to this yesterday and I feel like a real punts I teased him so I think something happened this a few days ago that I think Sonic fans you got to sit back and NBA fans sit back and go huh that might have been the last time the NBA draft lottery took place did anybody pay attention to it if I if you right now do you know who has the number one pick it’s the Atlanta Haw so and now for all you people out there that think the NBA is rigged right God I hate those people I just there is nothing I hate more than the NBA is rigged person you are such an idiot you really really are it’s not rigged by the way okay it’s not they would RI then they would rig it every year for the best teams every single year do why would they rig it this year for the Atlanta Hawks oh because there’s not a sure star player out there they going to rig it next year so you’re going to say they took a year off and they’ll rig it next year for Cooper flag who will be the number one pick right that what you’re saying okay just continue to live in your basement fella all right NBA draft lottery why I think you should look at that as huh it’s getting closer at least I am maybe I’m wrong but we’ll see that potentially could be the last NBA giraffe Lottery that does not involve your Seattle Super Sonics I think that it’s very likely and possible that the next NBA Draft Lottery and I don’t know how it specifically works I asked a bunch of people how it works with expansion teams because it’s kind of been handled differently over the years how they did it with the Bobcats back in the day how they did it with the Raptors but it’s a high possibility that the next NBA draft lottery involves Seattle and that’s pretty damn cool when you start thinking about it and I just think something like that gives you a little bit more hope as we get closer to the potential Return of the NBA here which is going to be on the horison now why do I say that well if you go back a few weeks ago and they were talking about that media rights deal uh that they’re getting closer to signing and that Amazon was out there and they’re going to be the streaming service for it it starts in 25 and 26 and everyone has said hey they’re not going to do anything with expansion until they secure not that when it starts that when they secure the media rights deal so they’re getting closer to that media rights deal being secured and then that new deal for Amazon kicks in at 2526 I I don’t think you know one person tell me yesterday well that might be an aggressive time you know you know timeline I don’t know I mean we’re sitting here what is it uh May 14th I shouldn’t know that because it’s my daughter’s birthday I don’t shouldn’t have to look at my watch of 201 24 I mean by December of 24 as they get into the new NBA season you don’t think we could have an announcement they were they could return and how long would it take to have an expansion team ready the building’s there they don’t got to wait on the building the players they’ll they’ll have an expansion draft where they get a pick over players that are already in the league and then they can have the draft lottery takes place now and then the draft is in June they’d have everybody as I mean first of all they’re going to have like people assembled fairly quickly and saman the Holloway and bonderman and the group that’s leading It Anyways guarantee they already have a list of people that they would hire it’s not like hey we’ve already an expansion team now put the team together they will be ready far before that announcement ever ever comes out so I think it’s a realistic timeline they start 2526 some have said 6 27 but I think it’s 25 26 that’s why when I looked at the lottery this past weekend I think it’s a great chance that that’s the last lottery that doesn’t involve Seattle that’s pretty damn awesome that is pretty great they’re not going to give them I think in the NBA they don’t give them the number one uh overall pick so they I think can be in the lottery and I think they can trade out of the lottery to get more players in the expansion draft they can give up like expansion draft players to increase the draft lottery um uh which would be really really damn cool yes do I want the NBA draft lottery to be involved next season yeah because of Cooper flag go look he’s going to play at Duke he’s a stud Cooper flag’s a damn stud and he’s awesome and it would be a great fit here in Seattle it would be Sensational to watch but just keep an eye on it if you are hopeful for the return I think that is a sign uh that they are it’s getting close to getting back speaking of the NBA and again I’m swearing a little bit more and I sore yesterday on social media but I’m going to say it again off ESPN in Oklahoma City I saw that graphic last night I got done with old man hoops and I’m sitting there watching ESPN and they flash up a um a graphic on there uh last night um and talking about the playoff performance of shade gild Alexander and what he’s been able to do and and the three straight the the stat was on ESPN last night and I got is there’s not someone that works there that can just say stop it with this crap and even Oklahoma City see I I I blame Oklahoma City as well Oklahoma City needs to go to ESPN and tell him stop doing this we had nothing to do with that franchise there’s no history there we didn’t play ever there so there was a stat last night three straight 30-point games single postseason record again and the three players all played for Oklahoma City one of them played one season for the sonics Kevin Durant did it five times Westbrook twice and gilgas Alexander did it uh uh once he did it yesterday or last night and then they listed Ray Allen did it in 2005 wearing a Sonic’s uniform off he’ stop marrying the two okay and I would think even Thunder fans would say stop it there’s no history there between the two other than they were stolen and taken to a new market so F off to Oklahoma City to ESPN and I will hate that that franchise forever there is no other opinion than you hate them if you are a tree true Seattle fan and Sonics fan there will never and should never ever ever be any other opinion then you hate those guys ever if you have something well kind of like him out you’re on the barge get out no there’s no love for them there’s no love for their fans there’s no love for their stupid owner and their stupid name and their stupid arena and the crap place they live none of it no don’t ever W yes can I acknowledge when you watch them play do they play a good brand of basketball well yeah they do they play a great brand of basketball but don’t ever say well they cut you know I don’t have any hate in my heart for them I’ve got more hate for that franchise than anything I’m pissed off that the Mavericks can’t just close it out someone Clos them out I do not want to see them in the Western Conference Finals because the Western Conference Finals then they got a shot to go to the NBA finals I don’t want to see it somewhat all of them I mean I root for the Mavericks I’m the biggest Mavericks fan this week uh I’ll be the Timberwolves nuggets Celtics Pacers Knicks whoever comes out of the East everybody should in this city should be aligned in their hatred against them and then rooting for whoever’s playing them hell we should have watch parties on this we should all dress up in their gear find me a bar we’ll set it up every time they play I don’t know but uh yeah I want them to rot in hell uh big night today in the WNBA big night in sports really be honest with you we’ll talk to John Canzano about this later when we release his episode at 1 o00 Kon Clark debuts this afternoon 4:30 ESPN 2 the coverage of this has been immense it’s only going to get U it’s only going to get more hyped up you know we spend our latest episode of iconic Sonics podcast with Nate Silverman talking a lot about what her business marketing side there for the Seattle Storm I believe they’ve already sold out their game when they play him on May 26 second there’s a few seats left but secondary Market you got to pay I looked at it yesterday because the vampire wants to go it’s like the cheapest ticket’s 90 bucks to get him so that’s you understand her impact on the game and you’ll see it tonight you’re going to see it in the in the TV ratings and you’re going to see it in the arena being sold out the coverage of their their draft I mean millions they had 2.45 million viewers of their draft it was the largest TV audience of any WNBA telecast in 24 years it was the draft just just the draft her impact is immense now the she’s not single-handedly forcing the charter flights and like the expansion that that was all set in motion before she was coming by the way but more the more interest in the league more eyeballs on the league the TV numbers tonight yeah uh that’s a lot for her I do worry about her a little bit because there is lots of pressure on her to deliver and there are a lot of former players and analysts and media that are that are waiting for her to struggle so they can pounce on her and she’s goingon to have to deal with that because fairly or unfairly she is gonna get picked apart constantly and it starts tonight it sucks because we build them up and then we tear them down and that’s what’s going to have that’s what Caitlyn Clark is going to experience this year oh I’m not just the fan favorite in anymore because there are media people former players waiting to rip her apart because of jealousy and that that sucks that sucks but that’s that’s also the reality speaking of basketball $2 million for a guy named great osore hey husky F you know this now maybe the hardcore basketball fans you knew him but most of you had no effing idea who this guy was and your Collective just I mean not all of it by the way and I’ll also say this I don’t really buy the figure they can say whatever they can say whatever they want you know they throw out any number and remember the kid that went to Florida and then he ended up going to ASU and they threw out this just these asine numbers that he was getting this was like $10 million and it wasn’t even remotely close I call a little bit on this number but whatever we’ll go with it they don’t have to ever show anything so you could say any number for Great oore you could say $5 million 10 they don’t show receipts they don’t show what they’re doing there are no checks and balances with this nil and this Collective stuff so if I’m M Lake futures or anyone I’ll just start any number because it makes it appear and it’s actually great marketing it makes it appear that your big badass Collective can buy players like this we’ll see if it is true it’s remarkable good for the kid get get as much as you want it is just amazing the kind of world we live in I mean he’s a Hired Gun this is the third time he’s transferred and he just goes wherever Danny sprinkle goes he played for sprinkle at Montana State played for him at Utah State he was ranked the seventh overall Prospect in the transfer portal average 17 to n and listen people are going to make a you know you know are going to mock the Mountain West well it’s the Mountain West and now he’s got to go to you know stiffer competition Mountain West is good like real good look all the teams they put in the tournament I watched the kid play he’s good skilled left-handed quick on his feet physical I mean small 68 240 250 you can’t shoot but inside he’s going to be a presence I think he’ll be fine he had a decent he was okay against uh they played pury in the second round they got knocked down he was okay in that he only had 27 points and 13 rebounds in two tournament games I mean the competition will get harder for him in the Big 10 and it will be night in and night out it’s going to be harder in the Big 10 than it was in the Mountain West but I I just wouldn’t like mock the Mountain West like schedule and teams those those are good teams but again going back to like Clark pressure all he’ll be known as is the because it’s the most money on record that a college basketball player has received and it’s and it’s and it’s for a player that no one’s ever heard of for the most part even though he was the Mountain West Player of the Year most of you college basketball fans have never heard of the guy and the pressure for him is going to be he’s going to be the $2 million man and with that now being on his back he’s got a Target how does he respond to that how does he respond to being the $2 million man because there’s going to be a lot of players talking a lot of to him night in and night out all the time and when they take and it’s going to motivate that kid to go after him see it’s it’s easy when you’re kind of the unknown unknown at Montana State really kind of unknown at Utah State it’s kind of easy because you don’t got the you don’t got the light on you now he’s gonna have the lights on him there’s gonna be a lot of pressure a lot of coverage for him night in and night out like Caitlyn Clark when he struggles people are going to start bringing it up not worth the money I mean I saw it with Cam Ward and that was on cam Ward didn’t give remotely close to this cam Ward got a truck and an apartment not $2 million people just and it it it it it split that cougar fan base over him big time so I worry about him a little bit trying to deal with all this you know and especially if he struggles how do the fans respond fans don’t buy the the cost of it I certainly don’t buy it’s going to take girls away from other sports I think it gives opportunity for girls uh to to do a sport my daughter can’t really do anything at school because she does this whole competitive gymnastics thing and she was interested in doing this so there there’s one and she’s probably one of of many that would like to turn on for what really I was very disappointed to hear the comments from the cashmir high school ad because Eastern Washington was really the the schools that were against it and their reason was because of the time of year you would play it you would try to play it in kind of the winner side and their argument was well the weather over here is just we can’t do it we can’t do it because of the weather now that kind of makes sense because it’s certainly much colder and it snows over there than it does over here but here’s what I didn’t understand they all could have voted for it all of them they didn’t have to adopt it that’s what’s lost in all this so cashmir and these other high schools over there could have saides we vote for it but they in their school district never had to take had to adopt it at all it’s yeah is it primarily a Westside thing yeah why don’t you just let them have it you don’t have to add it if you don’t want to that vote yesterday wasn’t about flag football and that’s what kind of pisses me off it was about a divide in this state Eastern Washington Western Washington and Eastern Washington told Western Washington to off screw you and everything that is what we perceive wrong with Western Washington and that disappoints me about Eastern Washington because I love Eastern Washington I love all of it but they allowed other factors politics number one to factor in of allowing girls to play football and that’s the also the part of it that that is is in the root of their decision because there’s people over there and it just again it’s the way they think especially their athletic directors girls don’t deserve to play football that’s it that’s the little secret that no one wants to talk about is there’s people over there who think that they the girls shouldn’t be playing football so because we don’t want him to play football this other side of the state wants to do it so we’re not going to allow it stupid just absolutely stupid stupid stupid stupid decision and uh I I don’t get some people in adults I really don’t we make it hard on these kids kids want to play more shouldn’t we encourage kids to play more and be involved in sports more and and add as many sports as we possibly can so everyone’s got a chance to do something shouldn’t shouldn’t we as adults do that instead of this lame ass excuse this cashmir ad got and then is is oh you know it will be someday just the timing wasn’t right when’s the timing going to be right for you what changes because your argument this is why that guy or that athletic trator is so full of because their excuse was the weather the weather was the excuse well news flash the weather’s not going to change anytime soon it’s still going to snow in the winter and if you only want to play it then and not in the spring and the fall to up with the other sports well that’s never going to change them they use that convenient excuse not to vote for it the weather but the real reason why they didn’t vote for it is they don’t want because everybody on Western Washington does it they’re like n screw it we don’t care we don’t like your side of the state so we’re not going to give you what you want that’s what it was and there’s a mentality and a thinking over there that I swear to God is they just don’t think girls should play football and just dumb just dumb dumb dumb don’t lump in all the WIA on this one too I’ve seen that on social media don’t lump them all in on this because there is a number of athletic directors and Mick Hoffman and all these people over here on Western Washington that wanted to do it you blame those athletic directors and those high schools in Eastern Washington that’s why this didn’t pass okay uh real quick what the put now I love you and I’m I’m not wearing the hat and I love your hats I love your Stadium I love going I love your whiffle ball park but Tacoma reers John Manley wrote about it today in the TNT I I don’t agree with this I just it this is another one that kind of just boils my blood so the reain ear that comes out yesterday they’re receiving money it’s a state Grant it’s $3 million in addition to the money they’ve already received uh from that Stadium remember that baseball money that has been was earmarked for kids but then was spread around all the minor league teams John Manley’s got all the details and listen I’m not going after John or anybody there it was written in a way and you know produced in a way and delivered in a way that was a good thing for Tacoma and I get it it’s a good thing for the rainers at the expense of a bunch of kids though let’s just keep it real the reason the reers are getting this money the reason the Spokane Indians are getting money Tri City Devils are getting money the Walla Wala summer team are getting money is because Mark mullet that idiot who’s running for governor decided to take money out of a fund from the seaha stadium that was all earmarked $40 million sitting there for kids for ball fields to all be replaced turfed fixed all of it and that greedy son of a and all those other people took it and earmarked it and gave it to the rainers gave it to Tri City gave it to Everett Everett’s not off the hook on this one cuz they had their hands out taking the money and all these minor league teams because they had to be up to code for uh Major League Baseball at the at the expense of kids I see it all the time if you’re living and around Seattle you see it as well I don’t know what it’s out like in the suburbs these these baseball fields are crap all of them they’re torn up the infields are dirt they all need to be replaced by the way all of them they just need to be Turf on the infield infield needs to be Turf you can leave the Outfield the grass the dugouts need to be taken care of the bathrooms need to be fixed but no we can’t do that and even though there was all that money for it it’s more important to help out these minor league teams and again I I love all of them I go to r years games I have a blast doing it I I go to the ever aquasox but you can still like going there and supporting them but also then be critical of what what’s happening and but that’s a failure of leadership and and Mark mullet who let it we had him on the radio show and we picked him apart um and it’s it’s just too bad it’s too bad that that happened um what else we got uh the full uniform uh Club baseball coach poll results were in 78% of you said it was unacceptable good for you however 22% said said it was okay what’s wrong with you guys what’s the 22% what what’s wrong with you how it’s not okay to dress up in a full uniform uh it just got me think what else is funny about little league or or us Sports in general that you see whether it’s soccer basketball
