Your Feet Are Lying to You Before You Start Golf Swing . In this video, I’m going to share a simple golf tip that can help you hit your shots straighter. Most golfers make the mistake of aiming with their toes, but this is actually a big mistake. The line drawn for the golf target will not be where you think if you use your toes. But if you use the heels, you can have more accurate golf shots.

during your swing, so it’s not a reliable way to aim. Instead, you should aim with your grip.

Here’s how it works:

Find a target that you want to hit.

Place your clubface square to the target.
Grip the club so that the leading edge of the grip is pointing directly at the target.
Make your swing.

you are a golfer and I know that you are frustrated that you can’t seem to swing hit strike the ball as well as you do on the Range as you do out on the golf course and believe it or not this is going to annoy the hell out of you but it comes from your setup in the way that you’re aiming and it’s not the way that you think this is kind of weird but I promise you when you start to apply this when you start to calibrate your aiming and your instincts in this very simple natural way of doing it the way you do anything else in life apart from what most of you are trying to doing golf it’s going to make your consistency Skyrocket it’s going to make your accuracy way way way easier and yes it is so simple let’s get into it here we are typical circumstance nice decent Drive middle of the Fairway I’ve got like 190 to go all I need to do really is just make solid contact it should be a simple task I know where I want to aim I know where I want to hit but the thing is 99% of the time when you’re hitting golf shots in practice you are utilizing external factors whether it’s a mat or whether it’s an alignment stick to in essence cheat your way to align yourself to aim in the right direction now before we go too much about Precision or whatever it is important to point out that your instincts your intentions can and will figure certain things out so it’s not just you have to aim correctly to hit the ball where you want and what I mean by that is we can aim a little bit too far right of where we want to go and I look up and I can see you know I’m not really caring where my feet are I’m looking I’m sort of lifting up and looking that way and I will and can find a way to overcompensate I’ll bring the ball back around there likewise two left all these types of things you’ll figure out a way you’ll use your hand eye coordination but we don’t always want to well actually rely on that a lot less we need to rely on that a lot less so when we take away alignment sticks Square mats all these cheating mechanisms when we remove those those external checkpoints when we’re out on the golf course there’s nothing here that is constant te- boxes give us a bit of a chance but sometimes they’re off kilter there’s nothing really here saying setup Square to where I want to go there’s nothing giving me much of a guideline and if it is it might be wrong for where I want to hit it so we need to find a very quick easy way to aim correctly now you may know of the intermediate point where you pick a spot right in front of the ball and you set up to it that way the problem that can arise with that and does arise is again it’s about something a little bit more external it’s not quite as instinctive because if you’ve chosen your line in a certain way you’ll aim up your Club face but then you won’t necessarily know if your body you’re trying to square up your body to your Club face okay you’re trying to get everything in line but that’s when we start fidgeting around because we haven’t got the sticks we haven’t got a mat it all feels a little bit off and that’s what I hear all the time and I used to do it you start to fidget it just doesn’t quite feel as repeatable as systematic as when we’re practicing why because we don’t have any mechanism or Aids to cheat so how do we do it better on the course there isn’t so much about where our feet are pointing it’s more about where Our intention is pointing are you a fidgeter does that sound a little bit familiar let me know below and if you really want to stop doing it for good and repeat a go swing visit okay but our point of measure of what we’re trying to aim is almost like out the center of our sternum okay because this is always going to be a constant our feet are always going to change but this is always going to be a constant yes we can sort of point the shoulders if you will in different directions but wherever my chest is is going to be more or less where it points okay okay and it’s the same it’s going to be relatively Square so if I’m aiming further to the right that’s where I’m going to be so this is the reference point I want you to have so as you stand behind a shot and if you can on a range like try and remove any external guides we can see where we want to go here first one we’re going to not pick a point really I’m just going to look at in the distance and I’m going to just aim right that’s what I’m going to do so I know man that’s definitely too far right here I know that now I’m going to point too far to the left pointing my sternum that way very instinctly very naturally way too left I know that so then gold Delux just right I’m going to walk behind directly behind and I’m just going to slam into that confident alignment being positive that I am Square to where I want to go that is it it is as simple as that repeat that again and again and again you don’t even have to do it too much cuz it is very natural it’s what you would do in the wild if you were doing anything really so easy so effective to start squaring yourself out and not have to manipulate anywhere near as much or fidget as much so choose your different targets aim up and swing easy easy
