Today, Ian and Mikey head down south to take on Cabot Citrus Farms, Cabot’s first American property.

After recently opening, many pro’s have gone to take a look and play the course. One of which is Louis Oosthuizen, who holds the current course record. Now the the boys set out to beat his record in a 2 man scramble!

I’m okay thank you though yeah I’m sure you’ll be jealous after all right guys we’re here cabat s’s farmed what an absolute treat M good look at this place brand new it opened a few months ago and uh cool to see it this early we’re not the first YouTubers to be out here doing uh filming but I do think the and from what I’ve seen from other channels the cour is maturing unbelievably fast like the ground condition for something is as new as this is is incredible this is yeah excited to excited to play it hopefully uh put a decent score out there we’re chasing lose tasin two under we’re chasing scramble yes and in a scramble format we’re trying to take him down we took well we didn’t take down Sheffer we drew with Sheffer the other day TPC in the bay but we’re out here we’re going to try and take down Lou uh Lou two under yeah going to be fun love it excited all right okay have enough right or left uh right Fairway right Fair how about left okay dude that’s how I striped it don’t know how you can literally walk up and not have even a practice swing and hit it that solid easy game there you go easy game see trunk slamming That’s the Way Forward who needs a range so yeah so a little update so Lou actually carried for Lou I did I did he only shot one under now it’s from the tips it’s from yeah it’s from 75 75 so that’s that’s pretty good that’s pretty good yeah that’s pretty good okay so what we’re listen we’re we’re chasing it down it’s a scramble we should be okay we’re going to play silver 6900 so what do you think what’s a fair number for us to chase plain scramble we both are you know low single digit handicaps and I definitely like somewhere in the high 60s high 60s okay let’s set ourselves 67 67 like that I love that number 67 170ish you got tarf went about 110 yards 200 175 wow the slope killed me we going to have some putts first of all neither is particularly good take a look at you and see what it looks like I mean this is flat the only thing is there’s some longer grass here that looks that yours looks better than this there’s longer grass here the higher you can flight it obviously the more control you get it cuz you’re going to have no spin or very little spin all right not the best leave but figure it out ah weak okay ah release a bed a little bit but it kind of just jumped up like soft no spin on it or whatever up the left side left side left side coming back to the right side I was thinking it’s got to have some fall that way oh wow okay yeah I mean that looks to me yeah this sounds crazy that looks straighter but from down this side it really settled in early from if you guys have seen the course on any other channels trust me the two months that have went by since that place is great is honestly an eternity for this place and how it’s knitted in couple of times Mikey like so windy and I’m trying to like I’m trying to go in and get some grass and like it’s so knitted together at this point the place is really bedded in obviously great growing conditions but what a track what a course 11 out of 14 double Fairways lots of room for people who come here to to kind of miss it on either side we by no means had our a game today we hit a lot of good shots though yeah we got away with it we we got sewered on a couple long putts that what was it three we should have made we we should have two two or three but again we made a few good on six birdies an eagle two Bogies not bad that’s pretty good not bad we sat out here trying to I think we said 69 or something like 67 so I Think We snuck one under that good good guys hope you enjoyed it um yeah the outdoor stuff is a lot of fun it’s a challenge it’s an absolute challenge it’s blown like this it is a challenge so uh huge street thank you to uh the cabat team for having us out a massive um you know massive thank you to them a real treat for us uh to come out and show you guys the place it’s open now for business we’re going to go up there play the short course now there’s Pizza trucks there’s what’s the other food truck there it’s it’s got everything that’s a hell of a setup so love you guys to to come down if you’ve already been out here let us know
