I feel like there’s so much I want to say about this series but it’s hard because on one hand the Toronto map Leafs are perhaps the funniest sports team that I’ve ever seen what the Leafs do to their own fan base is absolutely insane down 31 to bring it back to go up a goal in game seven to make it to overtime to lose off of this play and we’ll just watch it Puck dumped in takes a bounce off the boards no one on the leafes is really moving quite as fast as pasta honestly the puck is sort of in that no man Zone samn probably should have taken it but pasta ends the series and sends Toronto home on the other hand Toronto for a lot of this series straight up outplayed the Bruins swayman when he played stood on his head I don’t think that’s controversial he was phenomenal and they were clearly dealing with a lot in terms of injuries Matthews looks like a zombie out there like he just does not look healthy I don’t know whether he is sick somehow or has an injury but you could tell something’s really bothering him obviously Joseph wall who revitalized the leaves he had to sit for tonight’s game putting samsonov back in net but on the other hand for a forward group as talented as the Leafs are they just were not good enough I mean the series kind of went how I expected the forwards of the Leafs are more talented than the forwards on the Bruins especially because pasta is clearly not himself I thought he looked pretty brutal this game gamewinner not with standing he’s dealing with something I’m positive but I mean you look at the Leafs no player was anywhere close to a point of game Matthews tied for most on the team with four in five Games Mitch Marner I mean I don’t want to talk about him right now three points in seven games the Leafs just weren’t really generating chances like I’ve given credit to Swan but Boston was also extremely active in their own Zone Leaf are having tough times setting up and when they did and I know this is the thing every sports fan says they were overpassing not shooting the power play was atrocious in this series under 5% they only had one kick at the can tonight and actually thought it was one of their better power plays but that all comes down to coaching in my opinion when you have talent the level the Leafs do and that needs to change in 13 of the last 14 playoff games and this is absolutely incredible the Leafs have scored two or fewer goals neander I like him I forgot to mention him earlier but I don’t know and again Sam snav he was a discussion I thought he was fine both goals were pretty leafy I do think that the team wins this with Joseph wall and net all right as for the Bruins I’m sorry I’m talking more about the Leafs I just do think the losing team was always going to be the bigger story here so the team seems pretty banged up I think they’re going to have a tough Series against Florida who’s obviously going to bring the physicality but what I was impressed most by Boston was their systems play you know obviously a less talented forward group than the leavs but they did a great job containing them I thought they are aggressive on the four check generating chances I I honestly watching this series I don’t know if either the Leafs or the Bruins are really Stanley Cup contenders and again I’m not trying to take away from the Bruins who just won a hardfought series but it’s just it’s kind of interesting how much this game clearly meant to both fan bases but you know for Boston failing to win in clinching games versus Toronto and there’s just way too much there obviously we’re going to see some major changes for the Leafs in this off season we may even have another video on the channel about the leaves because Brandon may want to have his thoughts I just rambled about this video this is my sort of state of mind right after the game but that’s all I’ve got for now let me know your guys’ thoughts down below

That goal was offside
The leafs lost that game on an ICING call. That is 100% icing throughout the regular season and all of a sudden it isn't in OT. The leafs need to get rid of the dead wood on the team, Marny being one of them. They just looked like they had no gas in the tank. Samsonov looked like he couldn't see past the red line and it showed in that goal. Get some prescriptions man!!!
They had a great comeback. The last play was unexpected.
Leafs consistently deliver – pain and heartbreak.
At this point I don't know if there will be any major changes to the Leafs at least on the ice. They've gone with their core players over and over with the same results: 10 seasons and only 1 time do they get out of the 1st round. The core pretty much all have non-move clauses in their contracts now so the time for easier changes have passed. Saying year after year, "We were right there"! has to be getting tiring. Are the Leafs doomed to be a "Great regular season team" forever?

Leafs fans didnt deserve that comeback, some of the worst fans I've seen. Granted, Leafs have been a flaming dumpster shiet fire for as long as I can remember, but fxck boys I cant help but feel like not calling for the heads of your boys every other game could be atleast a little beneficial for their mental health… and that series was lost on a dime, maybe with a lil more confidence theyre in the 2nd round. Just sayin 🤷 I was proud of em for the rally, holy shiet that ending was terrible tho, my whole family was like what? Thats it? Ah well, we'll get em next time.

Not a Leafs fan, but i think they did incredibly well while Boston was incredibly lucky to score with just 0.1 sec left to tie a game , leafs out shooting them and score an overtime goal off a lucky board bounce to johnny on the spot ? Crappy Montreal never even made it to the play-offs .

345I have many questions and thoughts about the Leaf's. Their loses , their attitude and their performance over the last (2024-1967=) 57years. But what sadly comes to mind is my years of playing street hockey for fun! After 82 games per season, Millions of dollars in costs, salaries, maintenance, travel charges, food costs, equipment replacement. 2023-2024 season came down to a line I have use many many a time playing street hockey for fun. NEXT GOAL WINS. Good thing playing is still fun, but than as a fan we aren't playing are we, nor are we getting paid. We are just the poor saps that are paying to watch these "Gold Diggers" bankrupt us while we wait for some miracle to happen.345
