Sheffer from
82 got to get it going after three
straight pars this one ought to be
dancing around the hole kind of like
that oh it might go
in
unbelievable and Scotty Sheffer coming
off his second career Eagle at Saw
Grass on 46
yard Par Four one of the best holes on
the golf course you see that hole tucked
over that little knob there and let’s
return to the fifth and Sheffer the
Eagle at four try to go Eagle birdie
here yeah playing with Lashley so we saw
that putt go in will it be
contagious heyy Here Comes number one in
the world 243 going for a high fade to
that back hole location want to land at
probably eight or 10 steps short of the
whole High get it a Chase back there to
it terrific shot there going to have a
great look uphill left to right putt
there from about 12 14 ft and now
sheffler trying to pay off a beautiful
t- shot here at eight saw hideki’s ball
move to the right at the very
end another one Falls for sheer you said
you’d like 20 under or abouts to have a
[Applause]
chance go good acceleration on that one
Mike the most confident stroke we’ve
seen him make today we’re seeing a view
from back here he’s right aiming right
at Ted Scott’s
feet 62-
footer caring some heat yeah sure
is almost off the green we saw three
people put off the green
yesterday oh another great swing there
she’s dialed in this
number
what a shot shefer with the putter we
were talking about you know this I have
this great quote Success brings Clues
you know and he he got this new putter
he got a little taller Putter’s longer
the
Mallet and he’s rolling him in more
often what a front nine for Scotty sheer
531 149 back into the breeze good angle
that was nine
[Music]
iron a beautiful approach there by shley
and I can guarantee you both these
players can hear that Roar from the
ninth green and they know what’s just
happened he needs to get something going
here maybe sheffler getting tied with
him we’ll spur this
on nail
it absolutely sander shley chance after
little bit of a struggle to
start yep you don’t forget ever about
Harman on a golf course like this we get
a touch
extra similar to the chip on five
kids he plays though so well with the
chase like the one we saw on 18 last
night out of the rough tonight and
Harmon second at the par five
not no doubt in his head came right up
pulled the three wood not a lot of
contemplation and why not he just hit a
nice one right here looks like that a
great line that hit the UPS slope and
really dead in the
bounce hopped a couple of times there on
the way that was a hard put the
beginning where it turned left through
that dry
patch pretty routine birdie there for
[Applause]
Harmon talked about two palm trees about
10 yd right of this whole location good
looking shot here oh yeah
[Applause]
that’s been the strength of his game
this week hitting those shots in
there got it up nice boy he has got such
a good feel for this rough around it’s
it’s amazing think there’s a little luck
but he does it every time Johnny caught
a nice lie that’s a big
break got it big one after shley pours
one in birdie right back on top by Clark
and it is right where we started this is
third little uncomfortable with the foot
out of the bunker helps you get some
height a lot of spin
[Applause]
there just 12 putts through 10 holes
today the man who leads the PGA in par
five scoring average he leads in so many
categories that’s what he’s trying to do
a little right side of the green needs a
bounce
it gets it it’s perfect it’s going to
feed left here be whole High by the end
of it one of the best we’ve seen all
day Set set set another pull that
appears and that is really deep oh back
up really good pretty well judged there
yeah I’ll Echo John Ellis really really
good front Bunker’s not been a bad spot
that’s a highl looking draw and it’s
trying to turn away from the bunker you
just talked about does a great job of
squeezing it in there now will hold y
that’s going to stay on the green a putt
for Eagle for
Harmon never looked like he had it set
up high enough for that right to left
break there
so disappointing bogey for
Clark back there so that’ll be four
birdies last five holes for
Harmon he has really turned the
narrative around in the putting
Department he’s 10 under in the last 15
holes I’m not sure we can get this one
super close I’d take it 10 or 15 feet
past the hole for sure it’s not a shot
players practice a lot
either Bo looks distance looks great wow
God it’s
that he’s had a lot of scrambling shots
today that might be the
best pin straw bunker 30 and a beautiful
long bunker shot maybe that’ll get
Windam Clark jazzed
[Music]
up
you called it wood he hit The Fringe I’m
telling you
what I cannot tell you that kind of
touch how good that touches that’s what
he’s been doing all
week shop Le the first to 20
[Music]
[Applause]
under boys he’s swinging well at the
driver on this backside over cutting a
wind’s really pushing this right I think
it’s going to hang in there no nope it’s
in the rough think he can get four all
the way to Ho hot here smiley I don’t I
won’t
either set the left side of the
green look like was good
contact stay there that buker yeah
that’s that little pot bunker we’ve got
a camera planted there for a reason and
now from the thick rough right of the
Fairway shley 173 this is a decent livee
if you can get it online he’s got a good
25 yds to play with from the front edge
boy good contact on a terrific lie
actually cutting a little right if it
catches that
Hill it looked was trying to catch that
mound but it just bounded into some deep
rough right next to the
green and this incredible comeback for
sheer with a pain the neck was seven
back after the 15th hole yesterday
before he finished his third round
birdie birdie birdie and look at what
he’s done
today
and that was far less than perfect Woody
we’ve got two long par putts here in the
final pair 15 and Harmon a little bit
back from where a couple other guys were
in the last few groups well well back of
Scotty Sheffer almost 40 45 yards but
this is a good looking iron and might
release yeah that’s pretty close to
where Sheffer hit his second
[Applause]
[Music]
shot just he hit
it a just a hair off speed two great
pots of power there to be honest
yep but two Drop
shots and that takes shley out of the
tie for the lead birdie putt at 15 how
big is this to get within one
Harman he will not go
[Applause]
[Music]
away it start up the Right Center riding
that right to left
wind just another confident swing by
Sher that his ideal such a difference to
what he was struggling with with a neck
pain
[Music]
earlier and the ball Striker
extraordinaire puts it just right at the
stick hole High a weird first hop where
it kicked to the right I think that’s
what he’s shocked by that slopes all
right to left to the water and ball
looks like it bounds to the right when
it
lands he’s expecting this ball to kick
left and feed towards the hole and look
at it it kicks right away from the hole
probably cost him six or eight feet
there
so when you’re that precise as he
is about as offline as you get when
you’re Scotty Sheffer now that Roar you
heard while that was going on was
something we haven’t seen in about 4 and
1/2 hours at 17 it’s Matt Fitzpatrick
from 28 ft starting to break back a
little right right
[Applause]
[Music]
there which would tie lowest Final Round
by a players champion if he ends up
winning Davis Love Fred Couples Jack
Nicholas more pretty good
company for Scotty sheer who will see if
20 under is good enough saves his best
for
last sounded like a good strike starting
at the left edge of the
green good feed down there and get
really close here as it’s little
sideboard okay very makeable Eagle
coming up for shle coming out back to
back
[Applause]
Bogies didn’t H
it thought you’d be more aggressive with
that putt feel like you have
to not giving away birdies at
17
so shley the 54 hole leader of this
Championship will head over to 17 one
back of Sheffer Fitzpatrick shows it
could be done down the stretch this to
finish with four birdies in a
row what a finish for Fitz
[Applause]
Patrick it’s not a good
line and it’s a good shot oh it’s going
to get a look it’s going to get better
and
better Windam Clark stepping
[Applause]
up same line will he get the
spin come on a little bit more a little
bit
more come on down
Cubs what
drama 18
Harmon one
back just a seed right down that bold
line I talked about yesterday needs to
sit just a hair got to sit he’s yelling
at it wow close it’s hard to tell
yourself you’ll roll through on that
[Applause]
line and soft as he hit
it expecting that to break to the right
finished Dead behind the hole y just got
it outside too much he’s one back with
one to go and now Clark can join him
there and Windam Clark shows some guts
Harmon needs a birdie from the pin
stop and look what Harmon does SPS it
right up front how quickly that checked
there he was thinking that was going to
chase right the ho
high this is up that right side it needs
to turn a little I
think just gotten firm enough where
anything up that right side’s rolling
through in the P straw the ball
[Applause]
disappeared Sher Dodges
one trying to draw something in there I
think he loves it leg
[Applause]
kick the same we just saw pretty much
the
same went for the Fuller swing this is
right needs a hard kick
left gets pass pass that first knob a
rough needs to come left another 8 or 10
ft to the left and that ball could feed
down there to 18 15
ft
unbelievable how did that not
drop but Scot sheer is the 50th players
champion and the first go back to
back in a half
[Applause]
centy what a
finish unbelievable that ball was almost
all the way down below the entire
surface of the hole and spun all the way
back
360 looked in the entire way never
thought it was
missing either did
[Applause]

  1. That loopout from Wyndham Clark was crazy! Amazing tournament. Well Played

Scottie Scheffler is the closest thing to a Tiger Woods I've seen in a while. Granted, he's no Tiger, but he keeps finding ways to win especially on Sundays. He won the Arnold Palmer invitational, the Players Championship and I'm calling it now, he's going to win the 2024 Masters

  2. Xander had his chances to win but came up short as did Clark. Both gave us plenty of drama coming down the stretch. A great tournament.

  3. They're definitely needs to be an asterix * after this title championship win ! Seen as hell all the real golfers and real competition have come to their senses and have joined the "LIV" LEAGUE.
"THE PGA HAS TURNED INTO THE MINOR LEAGUES !!!! "

  4. That lip out was beyond cruel. Was pulling for Scottie but felt so bad for Wyndham after seeing that. He'll be thinking about that putt for the rest of his life.

  5. That lip out from Clark. You could tell that hurt him a lot. It was a great stroke. My hope is for him to know that he can always be in contention when he plays his game. And not think that was his missed opportunity.

  6. I took a flyer on Scotty Friday night down by 4 to Xander I think , I put $150 on him to win and $25 on Fitzpatrick to top 5 .it paid almost $800 . I forgot until was n hr. Ago to check All day .what a happy experience this has been , glad y'all could join me .😊

  7. The guys at the top were a who's who of recent major winners and of course Scotty is the greatest living golfer.

  8. If all PGA Tour events were shown with limited commercials they may have better ratings. The CBS broadcasts are unwatchable with all the commercials.

  9. This is why the PGA sucks. Nothing but Scottie clips, meanwhile we have three other golfers in contention, 85% Scottie and 15% Zander and Clark.

  10. Always someone with a low score and it happens to be scottie.! I knew the leaders would not comeback but had to be caught with a low round! Great golf all around! ❤😊

  11. A huh. He spun it backwards out of the bunker? Bringing back U-grooves, but just for the pros?

I guess pros are different, they get the old cheater clubs for short game assistance.

Can someone just go back to selling them to the rest of us prols. Getting bored of this nerf golf crap…

  12. I've never seen a putt get spat out of the hole like Wyndham's on 18–the golf gods clearly interceded to ensure that cheaters never prosper

  13. Sorry Wyndam, BUT that lip out was Karma for last week's moving the ball in the rough on 18 that was a penalty.

  14. Winning or losing ALWAYS comes down to putting. Xander had two makeable putts he missed on the least few holes..

  15. This is golf at its best and brightest. The course and it’s beauty, the star-power and their play, and last but not least – what separates the PGA Tour from every other circuit – the fans and that electric environment. Nothing like it, well done TPC.

  16. I used to love watching and going to these events but the golf world has become a circus and the tension between liv and the pga has made alot of people lose interest in th😮e sport altogether

  17. "Golf is hard"…they used to say this was a hard golf course…not for many years it hasn't been..👎…20 under is not a hard golf course
