Watch as Sky Sports presenter Sarah Stirk visited Fulford Golf Club to inspire young girls to get into golf through Girls Golf Rocks activities.
With over 200 golf clubs offering activities throughout the summer, Girls Golf Rocks provides girls aged 5-18 with a fun way to get involved in golf.

amazing for just trying to encourage as
many girls as possible to get into the
sport it’s an eye openening experience
it’s a first look at golf it’s just
amazing girl golf rocks is really fun
way to learn the basics of golf without
having the pressure of being on the C
first you just hang out and meet new
people I’m a big advocate for what golf
can bring to life it taught me about
etica it taught me about respect it
taught me about discipline it taught me
about patience I think some amazing life
skills which are amazing for kids to
learn today we were aiming at Targets
and learning what swings we were using
to get it onto the Fairway I enjoy
getting better at it like my grandma
she’s really good and um she can do a
whole 18 she’s quite shy and she just
hit an amazing shot and I said that’s
like good shot well done and she looked
a bit embarrassed but you could see the
smile on her face she was buzzing see s
it was just really special cuz it’s just
so nice to see someone from Sky spots
the Q&A session hosted by Sarah today
was fantastic the girls asked her
questions from what was your favorite
post round meal uh who’s the most
exciting person that you’ve met and
managed to interview n horon how she’s
got into a role as a broadcaster so it’s
been really fascinating and I think the
girls have left feeling inspired if we
can just try and get more kids to
driving ranges crazy golf courses the
putt Shack just get them with a golf
club in their hand and get them into
introduced to the game there’s girlss
golf Rock sessions all around the
