What separates 1st round talent to all the other rounds is projecting where these prospects end up with. Overall body of work, easy conference schedule, consistent upward trajection of metrics, accomplishments, did they lift their college team into the playoffs. All these things must be answered. JJ McCarthy to me is a 2nd-3rd round talent. Easy to get caught up if you're playing the position of QB and you're not the sole reason the team is winning. Mad Dog has a point here.

For the umpteenth time about the Penn St game and him not throwing a pass; he was hurt that game, HC was suspended, they were controlling the game and the PS pass rush was crashing through the Michigan OLine.
