Monetizing I mean it’s pennies once you get to a thousand you get a little more options you can screw your viewer over and get more money so like as you get more subscribers you can do more and then YouTube can uh start to like show your stuff in different places they try

To get the money off of you uh the PGA tour for a while they um let me on the old Channel post the videos that I recorded with my phone it went viral a little bit on Twitter so then I thought oh yeah maybe I should put these on

YouTube and monetize them so we did that and then after a little while PJ tour was like no no no I want that money that Patrick Reed viral video uh that’s ours which was fine because it’s theirs no big deal so uh which is whatever I figured out like okay they can’t

Copyright the interviews so then I went after the interviews try to get those to go viral certain stuff uh that they can’t copyright like the Masters doesn’t care so I put up Billy horel falling down a hill and that didn’t get copyrighted so I’m able to make measly

Off these things over the course of time it was great the problem though when you do that is that YouTube stops suggesting the pod in the right places they start suggesting the pod in like different viral video you know searches so it’s like well nobody’s looking for the actual idiots talking about the

Draftking pricing when they’re looking for you know a Patrick Reed a Bryson or something doing funny things I don’t know so we didn’t get any you know we kind of stalled in our growth of the PO because of this but then at the same time it was a fair trade-off and it was

Cool because then we were able to get thousands of dollars from these viral videos and we weren’t making thousands of dollars we were making hundreds or tens of dollars with the Pod so we’re like okay cool tradeoff let’s just be the viral Channel however what happened

Was one day we woke up and YouTube said f you we’re not allowing you to put ads on any videos I’m like oh okay what does that mean well so we can’t even post our own video and put a a you know an ad on that

Or like I would go and make content at golf courses or I went to like PGA Superstore one time right before Christmas and you know it’s measly dollars like maybe 10 or 15 bucks I get off of like a couple thousand views or something like that so I was no longer

Able to do that on our old Channel okay great okay whatever so then we’re like um now we’re not able to monetize at all we’re not getting suggested in the right places I think we need a new channel so that’s why we started the new channel and it has 92

Subscrib at at this point we’ve been doing this six years it’s hard to transition a channel too because like I had to make the new channel a different name than the old Channel and wait for that and I changeed both you know so like and then as the summer went on we

Were like okay well now we need subscribers so I really do want you to subscribe to the new channel it’s very helpful um and actually it really doesn’t matter because I’m not trying to make like money off of monetizing the Pod for example but it’s just like a

Confidence thing I may have been a little dramatic in my declaration that I was going to quit podcasting if we didn’t get 100 subscribers because that seems really ridiculous in hindsight and when I heard daro say like oh that’s sad Chad’s sad on his pod last night I was

Like oh God I gotta uh correct that but so regardless new channel new fun same thing I’m gonna try to be uh like try to do the same thing each week and try to be more less wild and weird with the way I do things because looking back at the

Old podcasts and yelling and hey everybody and being n it’s kind of you know I don’t even know if I would want to watch it so here I am and now begging for Subs wishing that uh I could go back in time and maybe not post all those viral

Videos uh because but again I don’t know couple thousand 10 thousand bucks that is what we made over the course of time so either way I’m excited about the future of the pot I’m going to do these solo for a little while I don’t know maybe I’ll get together with the boys

For the Masters because that’s a little different but the solo pod allows me to do it whenever I can don’t have to coordinate schedules and uh then I can give you the info go boom boom boom boom boom and here’s what we’re going to do

The info the routine we’re g to do a $100 house bet I’m loving this uh because then it takes the responsibility out of my hands of choosing somebody I can just choose about a dozen people each week spin the wheel and we’re going 100 on it and then if it actually hits

Bet uh we’re still living in the nap money so I don’t really care about money at this point my bank account’s flush I threw a bunch of money already at the Masters so I’ve got debts for the Masters so if I lose all the money I don’t really care so $100 house bet

Champ won a house bed on cam champ now he’s 100 to one let’s get that I think I did the same I think it was 125 to one when I hit a house bet when I was on Brian kershner’s tap and birdie Taylor Montgomery I’m going to try him out

Again this week we tried him last week better than Daniel Berger but not great uh I’m a Thomas dietry truther potentially I think 110 to1 is too long on him and that’s just somebody that I feel like should someday win um I saw Adam senson at 135 to1 I kind of didn’t

Really look at his recent form and I thought that was a great number so I I liked it but now I’m not so sure about it 135 to one probably seems appropriate for Adam senson so I got him in there Matty Schmidt 150 to one dude’s a bomber

Finished runner up some time a little bit ago and then for Nostalgia and for fun Gary Woodland a 225 to1 wouldn’t that be amazing so those are the names that I’m going to try out for the house bet this week um last week we spun it

And it went like two inches and then I had to spin it again so hopefully I get an actual spin here and my friend daro also pointed out that as I spin uh you cannot hear me so I removed the sound I think we’ll try that here it is $100

Your own after that uh or you go back to Windam Clark he’s at 109 and he’s at 18.9% sew Kim people like that 18.7% for seaw or Jason day is getting chock I don’t know about that there are some websites out there that miscalculate the actual calculations

Around ownership and so they don’t they uh produce it so that a roster spot is actually like $7500 when in reality they’re $8,300 so those projections are based off of somebody leaving like thousands of dollars on the table which does not happen ever so you have to be very

Careful about your ownership projections and which site you use to get those um but yeah you also don’t look at them at 11 A.M on a Wednesday morning like hello look at him at Wednesday night or you watch the degenerate 75 if he ever does his podcast or you uh subscribe to

Websites and get ownership projections that are better than some websites but either way what else do I need to talk about Chalk that you cannot eat so last week we said don’t eat Doug gam finish t67 that’s dfl basically and he was not in the top 50 in scoring so

I’m posting the top 50 in scoring on the fantasy golf pod uh Twitter page each week a lot of people score points that are random and weird and that you they didn’t show at all on TV and that are like top 20 but somehow they’re in top

10 and scoring so you got to uh consider that this chalk name in the 8K range that you’re trying to eat is going to end up having to score like top 10 points or else they’re not paying it off this week you got sorry not sorry on Mac

Hughes sorry you can’t play Mac Hughes I don’t think you can win a gpp with Matt Hughes in your lineup I don’t think you can win a gpp with Joel Damon in your lineup even though I did that one time I won an quarter arcade at using Joel

Damon um either way strategy for this week I think you do honestly every single week want to Target a ball Striker so for about two three years I did narrative lineups I made 20 lineups each week that consisted of a theme each lineup had its own theme and then I uh

Looked back and evaluated which uh themes did the best overall by far ball Striker no matter what course matter the course fit doesn’t matter if you’re a ball Striker meaning you have great off the te stroke gain off the te or you’re a good ball striking off the tea guy

Like hitting the ball striking it from your driver and then your approach so to aka the more sticky stats in golf off the tea and approach do that well you’re going to do well especially when it’s called a bomber Paradise oh my God it’s so stupid because it’s like obviously drive it

Well and hit your irons’s close you have more opportunity to score on DraftKings that makes perfect sense but also add in are they playing decently recently because not only did the ball Striker teams constantly bubble up to like the top five every week the recently decently recently

Recent form guys they ticked up too so then if you combine those two together I think you’re goingon to have a good idea of what uh who to click recent form though how recent maybe like five to seven events 24 rounds I see these people plugging in on

Their uh models quote unquote last 36 rounds but then there’s no date range either so let’s do like Adam Scott’s last 36 rounds or certain golfers last 36 rounds include January of last year so you got to be careful of your total Strokes or total rounds maybe of a cut

Off of like four five six months I don’t know that’s the strategy stuff okay should we talk about the actual DraftKings board here so uh oh I wanted to share with you that I made a clown lineup this clown lineup consists this week because we’re all clowns it’s weird

How the clown lineup is just as good as the like the smartest lineup I can think of using my beer gut brain so it’s annoying the clown lineup includes Tony feno go back to hosler and then you got King clown Patrick Rogers you got uh thorbjorn he’s at 7900 why would you

Want him he sucks and then Cameron Davis he’s $7,700 like somehow he’s a clown but I think he could actually show up out of the blue and win didn’t he win the Rocket mortgage which is like a bomber Paradise so you have Ryan Fox I think he’s a bomber I’m not positive but

He’s $7,200 is not really known so I think include him as a clown so lineup what about this idea boys and girls um I’m making a lineup this week at the end of the Pod we’ve been making three lineups using the spin wheel and just letting fate decide I’m gonna put it

Into this $200 contest to try to win $10,000 so we’re not only betting a $100 on a house bet on a random wheel spin we’re also doing that uh $200 single entry lineup for um our DraftKings so we’re going to do that in a minute but let’s talk about the DraftKings pricing

You got Scotty sheffler at $113,000 boys and girls I don’t know if I can recall the last $133,000 golfer it feels like DJ broke a $112,000 threshold at one point and then there’s a few times over uh that you know almost a lot that Scotty Sheffer

12,000 uh but yes uh it might still be underpriced $133,000 if you’re getting 50% ownership you’re basically two to one to win the tournament I mean my God uh you should be 30,000 but anyway you got Scotty and then it’s wam Clark 109 thigala 103 or will zotus

101 of course you try to go back to Windam Clark he could I mean God damn missing that putt I was like what a sweat that was the players my God my heart uh but either way you got thala and um the two podcasts that I would recommend listening to each week are

Rick rung good he does a really good job he’s actually going live in a minute here on YouTube and then you have Jo idoni the bird Lions podcast that’s on Monday nights those two both highlighted sah at 103 as somebody that they would want to bet on and click so at aah Heath

At 103 potentially if you’re not using uh shuffler maybe you go to that but you know I open the betting board on Monday morning and I felt my gut felt will zalatoris at 1820 to1 is a is a fair value I have a went for it so will

Zalatoris save the money go to will I don’t know 9k range I’m not in love with anyone in the K range you got Tony feno at the top of the range SE Kim Jason day noren Keith Mitchell hogi maybe I’d lean the low end of the

9k range you click hogy or you go back to Mitchell I had a bet on Mitchell and he started the fourth round upd two and turned into Justin Thomas like a minute later and I don’t even know did he finish like top 25 it’s terrible uh I don’t know if I’d do that

Actually I think you go like will and then you skip to Jagger and that leaves you 7750 left gosh or can you double stack this I think this might be the play double stack Sheffer will Z and then you click the safe Jagger my mouse doesn’t let me scroll

Here so Jagger $8,900 leaves you 66000 if you double stack maybe you have to skip the entire 8K range or you just go to my favorite play in the 8K range is Jake knp nap screwed himself in the models and the stats and stuff like that by having

Couple water balls and he’s done this a few times actually I price the players each week on Sunday nights I try to get an idea of like where is the field going to be what’s it going to look like who are you know that is 13k gonna be

Sheffer whatever and I actually had nap priced at $9,300 so to see him at $8,000 my I love it and I also think most of the golfer in the five and the 6K range are like the same human being and any week they could just show up and

Be somebody so if you’ve got those low own or uh those gems in this 5K range that you have confidence in I think double stacking that Sheffer wi Al torus could be a way to do it uh the new PGA Tour I talked to Eric quag Martins my co-host about this on

Text I said hey this new PGA Tour I don’t I think that the akk range is awful I think you don’t you you avoid the akk range because basically the akk range has been decimated there’s no I mean they still have put they put 10 guys there still but how how how the

Hell is Jagger hosler Ry any different than like Hughes or in top of the 7K R Cameron day was like what the hell one week they could be an 8K guy one week they could be a low 7K guy that’s how it goes so to spend the money to get the AK

Guy when you can actually just skip that go up and spend down I think stars of Scrubs is probably the best way to go especially when the stars are true Stars compared to that AK range where as two years ago when I was advocating to Pepper the AK range I felt like those

Are still top 20 players in the world whereas now the 9,900 dollar guy feno is 30th so it’s a different world here on the PGA tour uh so don’t pepper the AK range maybe skip it maybe pepper one guy do what Darbo says 1098 776 or now you go 10 10

Eight seven six six I don’t we’ll see what the wheel wants us to do at the end for our $200 single entry lineup maybe it’ll want us to Pepper the 7K range who’s in the 7K range Cameron Davis uh who else Ty Taylor Moore oay

Was at both optimal so that make we have done this now for a few weeks or months for where we’ve looked at the optimals I don’t even know what an optimal means ultimately I’m a beer gut brain player and I don’t really care about stats but at the same time optimal

Has spit out the same name like two different sites have the same name and that has correlated with success now oxe at 7500 does he need to do much more than 30th 20th 15th maybe like that’ll pay off 7500 and he’s not really owned so maybe D

Baka I’m also a truther of uh Thomas dietre like I mentioned in that spin 74 he did putt himself out of a tournament once just like mentally broke down and he’s had a few moments of in time where I’ve noticed like oh shoot Strokes gain

Mental is very low for this dude so I think but that’s in the past I feel like maybe he’s learned from that maybe like he’s ready to prove that he you know is who he is and not a bad Putter and five putt from two feet away Davis Thompson

Is a name Taylor Montgomery we’re going house on Taylor Montgomery at $7,300 maybe you click that or I believe I have priced senson at $8,800 and then HD Insight I’ve realized that was probably a misprice by me I had him at 88 for whatever reason he’s

$7,100 and I like it because he can spray it on this course he’s one on the tour seven I don’t know maybe I’m wrong maybe he’s a bad play but he lost Strokes putting the last two events he’s lost six Strokes putting last week and 4.2 the week before

That maybe he’s a clown a good clown clicked $7,100 what if he finds the putter uh that’s like everybody all right 6K name 6K range is let off by Sam Ryder and Novak those are names you got chest Hadley you got uh Bobby Max Molly melady Chandler Phillips Matt Wallace his name I’m
