Missy Ganon is naturally good at Winning it did not take her very long to figure out how to win how to keep herself into a calm mindset while winning and then how to execute it all the way to the final hole this does feel like Missy’s tournament to lose but she’s only two strokes ahead it’s gonna

Be windier tomorrow when evina has the advantage in distance I think that Missy probably needs the birdies early then needs to hang on I wonder if Holland might just come out and try to take the birdies as they come or is she going to go for the hyper

Aggressive play on every hole which we know out of everyone Holland Hanley is fully capable of executing Haiti is one I’ve been waiting for to come up on a lead car on a feature card on a big tournament Haiti can throw the disc really far she can

Putt really well she has a great sidearm she’s one that maybe people don’t know yet but they are about to I love watching evina throw the disc and I think the way that she’s putting and the way that she’s scrambling that we’re going to see a tight battle between

Missy and evina but I think what Missy’s got going on right now she’s hard to Beat Hello and welcome to the final round of the United States women’s disc golf championships presented by Mint dis at our new favorite venue ever I’m Madison Walker I’m Erica stinc we’re the two hotkeys honk and we are ready to Crown a major champion in the next nine you have

To also watch that first one of the year but it’s only been 6 months since the last so everyone’s still kind of getting the ball rolling it’s we’re going to see who’s the most prepared coming out of the off season right now uh first one on

The card we’re going to watch this Missy Gana 93% Circle 1 x putting that is so important on this course scrambling 83% of the time probably the second most important thing on this course 61% of the time she’s in circle 2 evina Solin and 88% c1x putting really solid uh

Landing in circle 2 67% of the time we saw her hit some big circle 2 putts yesterday and scrambling 80% of the time not that she has to she’s always on The Fairway right all two scrambles yeah Holland Hanley 92% Circle 1 xiting 80% scramble rate 50% of the time she is in

Circle 2 for birdie unbelievable rounding out the card Haiti L from Finland she’s in the Fairway 84% of the time 89% Circle 1X putting and landing in circle 2 72% wow that might be one of the highest in the field they’re driving and cutting starting out on hole one

Through the sprinkle Valley triple mandatory it’s a par 4 570 ft you want to throw something straight down the tunnel you see far more backhands than forehands if you can land just to the left um on this corner it kind of opens up this shot but as you can see it’s

Pretty narrow on the way down to the pin we have not seen a ton of birdies on this one most ladies going to be happy with the par we had a a much windier day you could feel it on the tea you couldn’t feel exactly which dire

Direction but it was kind of a lot of drop United States women’s disf championships presented by mints this is our lead card first on the box from Beacon New York representing Discraft and well sacks please welcome Missy Canon Missy under par every round has the course record at the moment at 7 down

Holland just trying to get my bearings here do you remember what she shot yesterday oh I want to say three down I think it was four four down great power on that just a little bit right but it works out from Finland presenting Clash disc please welcome Katie [Applause]

L this hole certainly did play tough today only 10 out of 96 competitors made it to Circle 2 in regulation at best O Holy Moly Haiti with a lot of power catches the inside of the mandatory and that’s a it’s possible to scramble from there but boy is it tough I know from

Experience this looks brutal and good pitch out but it’s quite a ways to the pin she might be able to get a circle two look just such a sharp angle oo great skip play though and that gets through everything yeah she’ll have a wide open look from just outside Circle to

Evina pinched look into the sky is she she she’s looking up whoa oh With the Wind This is Wild abina is it crickets good what it’s I think it’s not good we know as much as you do sitting at home right now Holland in a fairly decent spot

Definitely still tight probably has to count on the skip here kind of surprising to see her go high angle but it works yeah she’s in a circle too long birdie look Colin eight Strokes back of Missy possible but unlikely that she’ll be in contention for the win most likely

Playing for a Podium finish same with Haiti all right Miss Missy makes it kind of a tough oh no it’s open okay easy par only three people got to Circle one in regulation wild kind of the story of whole one on the weekend mhm it’s funny cuz I feel like in a

Practice round like be able to no problem yeah do you remember own was like so many people are going to birdie this one I was yeah I believed you know I was like yeah you’re right they can everyone can everyone can haiy gives it a long bid for a par

Save evina let’s let’s see she goes deep yeah potentially deep of whole one maybe flirting with hold two she pitches out oh my gosh I she’s in she’s wow that’s the right side of hole two she still has another area of trees to go over yeah hole one is

Probably what like 80 ft past those trees maybe more I have no idea dang oh my God that’s kind of where I thought she landed the first time hoof wow now throwing five in twig jail holy moly that’s going to be a double on whole one

Yeah wow what a way to start the round chopping through another Fairway that’s crazy we get to Holland’s long birdie look just inside C2 leaves it short there were only two birdies today Lindsay fish and Valerie mandano were the only ones to get it there was also an eagle though Emily

Beach wow she’s a lefty I wonder how aggressive she got off the tea because she could actually go under the through the triple Bando and maybe carry the trees a little bit yeah maybe make a long putt rather than a throw in oh I would love to know rough start here for evely

With a single bogey 50% of the field with a bogey or Worse that’s just what a wild starting hole how it be out here hole two kind of a breath of fresh air after hole one mhm checking in with the Chase card Valerie manano one of the only two

Birdies of the day on hole one throws the forehand super smooth shot on hole two I know she has a forehand but I feel like she’s such a good backhand player that we don’t see it that often off the tea yeah it’s always so good it’s so

Smooth here it is right here pushing the boundary perfectly getting the ground play oh yeah Bullseye two for two sorry spoiler we just believe we didn’t know for sure and Valerie gonna move to six down with that birdie birdie start let’s follow her onto hole three as well

There’s always a little bit of a gap between Chase card and Lead card Valerie is going to get tangled up short just outside the circle looks like own scogin even par for the round she’s four down right now and she’ll have a putt also just outside

Yes three in a row to start turkey turkey she’s out here she’s out here with a goal in mind what is it to gobble um no it’s uh I mean this is a major day she’s she’s like moving day didn’t go the way I necessarily wanted

To and now I’m going to move today okay to Goble wow thank you for that and own great putt nice Chase Card means business yeah own didn’t have I mean it wasn’t a terrible first round but it wasn’t a great first round but she’s really put together some

Clean ones the last couple days and we get to watch Valerie one more time on hole four this is a very challenging hole and she gets caught up really early first available this going to be a tough save the fact that she’s throwing a backand next to that tree it’s almost

Like there’s no chance of throwing a good shot there it would have to be like a tight heer flip to Drifting oh man anyway it didn’t really work and this is a pretty major scramble shot that did not working yeah that’s almost a poke and hope to get out of there she’s

Looking at Double bogey after three birdies sad Goble I feel like she just like maybe did a little bit of an eye roll and that was it she’s like oh oh Valerie oh Val best mental game ever h a three down through five with the hot round so far hold

Two 516 ft you’re going to throw a turnover back hand to have the most aggressive play a sidearm works as well being a little bit more on the left side is good but but really it doesn’t quite matter where you land it just matters that you have the tool in your bag to

Get up and down uh this is like Erica said a breath of fresh air and uh one that you’re really chomping at the bit to Get Missy with her tour series Thrasher little inside here and nice yeah this hole’s way different from ho one only 10 got to Circle two on hole one but 35 getting to Circle two in regulation on hole two yeah more than a third of the field looks like a slower speed disc from

Holland and progresses nicely going to be kind of a step out sidearm from there I’d imagine huge backand from Haiti that’s so good yeah and I’m so glad we’re getting to see some of her power because she is up there in the top tier of power

Throwers yeah it I don’t want to say it’s surprising to see her doing so well in these courses but this is not where I would have picked her like having her first shine you know cuz she does do so well on the GOL more Wide Open golf courses where she can

Unleash evina with a big forehand gets caught up but lands in a great spot Missy never opens her eyes here just trust her body yeah you know it works just outside the circle for a birdie again ha in O more than a step out full kneeling sidearm really great angle on

This Raptor that is so good and comes in oh nice she deserved that that was a great shot that was probably going to go to Circle three on the other side seeing another Over the Top Shot it was going to cut through all the trees it was actually going to saw them in

Half evina ah looking to bounce back but gets caught should be hopefully an easy par she’s going forehand again just left with a little chip and that’s confidence mhm or just being on hold too and being over [Laughter] it 8 second this course really was brutal I feel like you’re you get done

With a round they usually last upwards of 4 hours uh and you walk off this course exhausted mentally not physically because of you know it being an any extra exertion it just is a lot of focus being used a lot well I mean also standing it is over an 8,000 foot course

Like we don’t play small courses anymore yeah you’re right is it really yep huh doesn’t even feel like it cuz we’re just acclimated we used to play a lot more like 5 6,000 foot courses but now they’re all like 8 9 10 yeah Missy so close to capitalizing on that birdie

Opportunity holling for her Birdie on the board Missy going to have to settle for another par um as we’ve said in the past just staying clean through the front line getting a few birdies especially with the wind coming in the back you kind of want to pad your score early if you can

In this more technical but shorter part of the course let’s check in with the Chase card on ho five Valerie trying to bounce back from that double bogey th throws another super smooth sidearm yeah that is great it really is going to open up that second shot as

Well she’s set up to attack for birdie yeah makes for some tricky putting over there but she’ll have a chance yeah she might be just a little deeper than you want those sticky trees are brutal there’s some routs though yeah and she is one of the best at these type of

Putts yeah she is such a weird round so far birdie birdie birdie double birdie hold on just going to go fire off some important emails now all business Valerie two down there was other stuff that happened but I don’t know I read too slowly whole 3 is a par three it’s

300 ft we already saw it once on the Chase card check-in uh it’s yeah just kind of a slightly pushing Hiser uh there’s definitely some trees on the way especially there’s one on the left side that kind of is in your head um that forces a certain shot shape I like kind

Of a flipp earier disc on a Heiser that pushes a little straight there was some wind in here like you couldn’t exactly tell what it was doing but you knew it existed that’s wild that there was wind in the tree I know it was like more in

Play in the front line than I expected especially cuz it’s pretty thick Woods M but like you can kind of see it like it felt headwind is MHM crazy Haiti going mid-range here keeping it out wide with this steady Berry great shot very good nice it’s really subtle I like looked

Over and I was like did she say it great looking shot from Missy as long as it does not get oh no it’s caught up in a tree I think it was the stick got mulched it’ss caught up in a ground tree the old ground trees evina going slow speed stable disc

Came in inside the circle the first time I feel like we haven’t seen evina just fly past the basket no she went like bullseye bullseye 20 deep I think I guess you’re right yeah she has gone past it every day she has a tendency to just like flash the basket Holland leaving it

Short uncharacteristically kind of laughing at her Missy looking for her first birdie of the day leaves it left you got to imagine she’s got some nerves uh it she’s it would be inhuman to have just like that much confidence to come in and not even be nervous M especially

If you’re gunning for your first major she’s like am I really big major Missy am I oh evina not quite committed as well Haiti with the last attempt at birdie here cans it I love her putt she’s a lot of spin yeah dead center evina with a little bit of a

Comebacker and she’s good for it I feel like the comebacker is really separate you know the pros from the amps it’s making those comeback putts that totally true set the whole tone for the rest of the round only one Birdie on our lead card very surprising on whole

Three we go from the easiest part three on the course to the hardest one Missy with a fourstroke lead currently over evina evina three Strokes ahead of [Applause] Hollen whole four 300 and 60 ft with a right finishing shot it is a tough one you have to decide how big your going to

Go here we think everyone though on this lead card is going to be going for the green or at least to give themselves a long look at it main mistakes you want to just not hit early um if you filter out to the left or right later in the flight

There’s a chance you can say but this one can get really out of control quickly loving this turnover we saw Valerie Bano get her bogey on or double bogey on this hole um Haiti though is not going to have any trouble getting up and down from there that was her steady Wild

Honey what a great disc name yeah yeah I throw that one it’s a fun Disc she throws it a little harder than I do a lot of turn wow okay yeah it was a great looking shot catches a tree and it stayed pure yeah feel like Miss’s in this like

Meditation Zone she sure is she’s doing some like belly breathing she she’s staying present I kind of want to breathe with her every time I see her I can hear like a distant flute pan flute a rain stick oh my gosh Miss’s going to be a little left

Even with all the calm horrible kick for everina it was early but o now I just want a rain stick should we bring props in 100% okay cool will bring props in if I’m allowed Texas States might be interesting for you guys we’re gonna have to get some some

New mics we need multiple mics evina going up and over for the second time today gets caught but she’s is she inside the circle I think so yeah that’s one of those Hail Mary shots and it worked out great Missy from a knee on the left side

Probably just outside Circle 2 not as bad as I thought yeah light gong [Laughter] plays pretty good Gallery out today do it Hollen really excellent Drive let’s see on the stats we’ve got only two people got to Circle one only 11 to Circle two here’s one of our Circle two bids

Haiti so much spin oh my gosh she loves it she’s one of only two birdies on the day so cool we got to watch one gets a turkey it is a turkey mhm the other bird we say was out here to gobble like Haiti is a Haiti is here

Pretty good slow-mo run too that this is one of those holes if you birdy it you’re you’re like it doesn’t really matter what I do the rest of it I mean it does obviously but you you have to be super proud of yourself it’s definitely a bonus nice comeback or a recovery putt

From avalina to save par she takes a big exhale getting on the breathwork train as well yeah good save the other Birdie on the day was Raven Klein shout out who shot her first thousand rated round yesterday pretty cool and then Birdie the one of the hardest

Holes Missy on the par train not a bad place to be out here the string of gray mhm you’ve got a fourstroke lead you can you can hang there for a While kind of tightening up though mhm Katie is definitely doing some work see Valerie sliding up the leaderboard as well continuing to birdie whole five AP par for the Drone taking the risky shot because the OB is only 10 ft off of it to the right a lot of ladies going to

Take a sidearm or backhand turnover down the left lane you’re going to try to land somewhere in this area um you got to be a little bit careful going over this OB Creek that’s 15 20 ft across and then as we saw earlier from Valerie if

You end up too far left or deep uh the tree jail can definitely get you on the putting green this is is one of the it’s probably the shortest part 4 on the course it’s one everyone everyone is thinking about getting hid going stand still backhand

Low but she can get across if she chooses to oh it’s the shortest Par Four by a lot yeah I just like to qualify everything so then people can’t roast me later Holland really low on that forehand it stays in bounds though Miss’s been going backhand turnover every

Day little early but it’s not bad over there it’s going to be tough to she might have a line to be able to attack for birdie it’s going to be tight I think on the backand that’s the mistake to make though definitely oh so oh I thought I thought

She was gonna hit that tree oh now it’s in danger actually and she’s safe wow she was definitely trying to go outside of that tree I can’t believe that checked up that’s great another large sigh of relief Holland just going to lay up here super

Smart kind of a weird spot to lay up though we’ll see what she has to work with that’s a little closer to those trees and you want to be I always wonder cuz I mean this has happened to everyone where you’re like I can’t really go for

It I’ll just lay up and then you throw kind of a lackluster layup shot yeah you don’t Focus whoops who Okay an he skipped she’s going to be hi’s going to have to deal with a circle two putt for birdie she got mulched Missy looking like she’s going across here

Oh okay hits one of those trees drops out of bound to take it from the short side of the creek we actually haven’t seen too many of those but those trees are very much in the way now we’re going to see back to back that sucks did she

Eat that vine it sure looks like it it swinging it was swinging see if evina can get across cleanly o that was wide yeah pulled oh man oh man back into the sea of sticky trees oh someone give her a hug yeah Holland after her o another OB

Stroke no just one OB stroke yes she’s going to be on the green putting for double you can even see the wind here one of the reasons we’re seeing some of these shots kind of go astray Missy really good at those little stand up and downs just to happen for her

Bogey 8 for four in a row right height but just to the right evina our first really wide straddle of the day deep lunge oh man gosh what a bid look at this angle she’s blind to it almost cool run man just give it to her basket Holland going to have to settle

With a two bogey Strokes on hole five and that’s going to hurt this hole is not one that you see your yourself stacking Strokes on solid little comeback putt from Haiti Missy with the bogey evina G to par only three Strokes now let’s check in with Chase Card own

Scoggins on the very difficult hole seven going huge this looks amazing that is so good ideal do you think she can see the basket yeah she can wow that is such good distance this is one of the hardest birdies out here skip oh come on yeah nobody does that on

This hole that’s so good I’m going to move to two down with that one highlight birdie and yeah everyone kind of tightening up in the top five to seven ladies Hai going to overtake Holland Holland actually dropping to six behind o and Valerie who are pushing from Chase

Card moving on to the little turnover shot hole 6 306 ft you just want to avoid that Center section of tree and do not heer out cuz it is rough on the left side as well but this is one you got to at least take a par on don’t forget we

Have new two hot geese merchandise we got new crew necks in the shop Custom colors picked out by me and Erica ourselves so soft honk so we also have new discs so honk gyro disc we got axium we got MVP and we even have lightweights check it

Out this is looking really good from Haiti wow so good I think uh that looks like that same Berry that she threw on three whoever’s the Whooper in the audience love it we see you keep it up I hope they watch this later and they’re like I’m the

Wooper but don’t take advantage of it though evina with a solid shot never quite gets enough turn she’s in circle to I want one of those sound bowls you know that you yes do the ring around just trying to think of all the calming things we could play here in the booth a

Distant Eagle call light thunder rolling oh my God don’t worry no no horns no horns today no weather delays that’s just like immediate stress for everybody yeah Holland overturning the shot but it can still everything that’s what I feel like in practice you think of it’s the flip

Up but honestly turning it over a little more than you think does work I mean that’s even more than you need to but like look how much room there is it didn’t even T anything I like don’t abuse your privilege wooer evina gives it some good power but going

To miss right side on the biry still no green on her scorecard yet she needs to start chasing her Missy down I feel like we were watching evina sink some of those longer one she seems a little kind of not lacking Focus today she just looks kind of nervous yeah fered not in

Her play but like in her reactions yes Missy though looking so solid that was dead yeah she loves it first birdie of the day gets back to even Katie to move to Three Down also looking super confident on the putting green I love like in the slow motion you

Can see her follow through like super Palm up just love it and evina just looking super solid on her comeback butts thanks thankfully Holland easy birdie we’re seeing three birdies on the lead card and there was only 12 on the day seems like an easy birdie but quite a challenging

Birdie Haiti with the current hot round at three down through six only two back from Aina now yeah chasing we already saw hole seven with own’s Birdie the Drone taking the right side which is probably the easiest way to get the birdie look but kind of the most

Intimidating off the tea I think the sidearm or the backhand turnover are also viable options it’s really tough to get as far as own did to get a look at the pin here and you can see it’s really tight on the way up little bit of a drop

Off behind it you’re kind of going down then back up at it you’re pretty happy with a par here it’s such a pretty hole and such a brutal hole ha going sidearm one thing I really want to commend the tournament staff on here at mint diss is uh the teap pads these

Things were great on wet days dry days hot days humid days it didn’t matter they were grippy but not too grippy I didn’t hear any complaints boy do we like to complain about tead yes we do no missy early taking a notch out of that tree

Which I don’t think has long left for this world you see that thing yeah it’s notched pieces flying off Hollen opting for the sidearm route probably going to do a lot of Heiser here and hope to get a skip at the end that is pushing really straight and

That is in a really difficult place to recover from evina going to take the right side full send here oh man that’s yeah so good you wanted to p a little straighter but you cannot complain there it is at least the easiest par Champion Thunderbird from evina

There Missy needs to get all the way to the corner to try to make this an easy par could you feel some win from this teapad cuz evina threw a tl3 yesterday not so much on this one but like there was kind of some on the corner okay once

You got out maybe you could see some branches moving down there yeah it was so weird to be like oh there’s wind in the woods Haiti early releas is it pretty good yeah that got knocked down thankfully pretty shallow though into the rough I want like a flute noise so bad to

Play this looks good so good that was good as you can do it from there mhm Missy going to have a long look for a par save chatting with Missy the other day we she was talking about how strange it is to get Bogies on a course and be like it

Doesn’t even really bother me it’s just part of this course you’re going to take them yeah as long as I mean you want to avoid the doubles obviously but bogey free out here would be insane mhm Holland has to just pitch straight out and this is why Bogies are going to

Happen there’s no way to correct a mistake in a lot of situations she’s gonna try to get a lot of ground play but it’s another early release she will be able to see the green though finally yeah Holland just a little off on her releases Haiti up in the tree

Here probably in Pitch Outland we’ll let you know Later evina working the turnover sidearm here solid yeah she’ll she’ll have a long putt uphill for birdie and we’re back disc marked and it’s looking like a pitch yep looking like a bogey at best Holland is not as clear in the clear as I thought this is a technical

Knee approach and it gets through everything it works out it’s definitely a little too much turn rides the edge she’s nice and close for her bogey o really high and a little early from Haiti she’s only 20ish feet though yeah thankfully it checks up pretty nicely wow there were six birdies on

This hole today it’s a nice little chunk Missy Parks it for her Bogey and thrilled about it evina looking to take a couple Strokes on her card mates yeah this could be a two-stroke swing here go still going to take a stroke on everyone else with the par

First sign of nerves I think from Haiti 68% of the field taking a bogey or Worse on this one ouch oh Holland too uncharacteristic yeah after on lead and Chase card we only had one birdie and lots of bogeys that was a no way that was a spit out ooh triple

Ouch Man Holland going to drop quite a bit going to be hard to battle back from that one Haiti losing a little bit of momentum as well still under par on the round though let’s get out of here yeah whole seven is just buck you never know what’s going to

Happen that’s why we saw Missy with such a huge smile with her bogy or single bogey we’re watching the Chase card on hole 9 raing up their front a little bit too wide it looked like from Valerie she’s playing for par at this point and she’s in a really weird spot when you

When you’re short and early on that corner it’s hard to find the landing Zone but she does it pretty effectively yeah she’ll have kind of a yeah turn over she’s good at these though let’s see what happens hard to get power from that stance but she does looks like maybe just outside the
