Gon to matter this week uh Friday looks like a complete wash out looks like possibly an inch and a half two inches of rain with 40 mile per hour winds probably not going to get any goth that day Saturday and Sunday 20 25 Mar per hour

Week I mean I should have probably know but everybody did uh I have seven guys over 60 to one and only one guy under 40 and that’s it I’m just going to take some shots as far as positional go there’s a couple names I think I’ll mention tonight but I don’t

Really plan on getting too heavy in this thing I’ll probably take some of that money and and go blow it on the embly tournament instead uh another another seemly random sport that we bet on I don’t know I don’t I don’t know a [ __ ] lick about college basketball

But I blindly bet as you know the first half unders every single game every year it’s the only college basketball bets on make except last year it wasn’t going so well so I started chasing thinking like listening to random things and then like tripling down on College bets that was

Okay all right let’s start right at the top 8 to1 Xander fresh off a heartbreak TBC prass uh his comments were uh after the after the tournament were you know kind of sad for him but he moves on to this tournament where he’s had some success I think he’s had a couple top

20s of this thing I mean obviously a really good ball Striker this is a ball Striker Golf Course um let me just a general question about him let’s you know kind of follow up a little bit from what happened last week sure so yeah some people been talking about with data

Golf and I know you hate data golf but they they have a pressure tool and you know it it basically measures what your expected Strokes gained is in the final round if you’re like under the gun or In Contention and over his course of career Xander’s actually been fairly

Good you know relative to expectations so I I guess why does he have this stigma then of just being a so I’m gonna push back on that right because I listened to CP and um I think that’s I haven’t finished it yet they were halfway through list

That’s what I actually I was listening to before we came on here I push it back on that is his expected variance blah blah blah blah blah I don’t care like it’s it’s a matter of who goes out grabs it by the throat he doesn’t go out and

Grabs anything by the throat yeah he can have a whole hum round and shoot [ __ ] three under that’s not gonna get it done on the PGA on a Saturday or or a Sunday rather it’s not gonna happen so I don’t care that he’s x amount of Strokes

Gained I don’t care like he doesn’t make the putts when he needs to make them and he doesn’t necessarily like choke but he doesn’t go out and win he just doesn’t like it the only time I so I mean obviously probably more times but off

The top of my head it’s the Masters is when I think that’s probably what put everybody’s in everybody’s head that he’s a giant choker when he [ __ ] stuck it in the water when he had a chance to uh go out and beat Hideki after the rain delay so yeah I I don’t

Know I just don’t care about Strokes gain data with that [ __ ] because it doesn’t [ __ ] make a lick difference like it’s literally about God’s balls and being able to go out and do something special not based off your Baseline I don’t care about that like when the pressure is ratcheted up

Certain guys will like we said Windham Clark got balls right went for the [ __ ] pin on 17 you know what I mean what does Zander do nothing no well I mean Xander went for the pin too he just missed the putt missed the putt right

And so I don’t know what so once again I like Strokes gain data for certain things but no offense to anybody who’s listening who’s a complete stat head and you and Steve you’re not in this category anymore um when we first met you were I feel like you lived and died

By the stats now I feel like like you can’t just live by it because Strokes game data doesn’t matter like these are the things that don’t factor in clutch like people didn’t think David Ortiz was clutch or Tom Brady was clutch or Patrick Mahomes is clutch like these

Guys are [ __ ] clutch like things happen right like it’s just the way it works and so I don’t care about Strokes gain’s data on [ __ ] Sunday my eyeballs do the test on that thank you all right that’s i t listen I still am a big stats guy I still believe a lot of

The stats I think I you I think I’ve just I’ve changed a little bit as far as taking it more in context and I think that’s probably what we need to do with this conversation here is I think what’s unfortunate for Xander is that a lot of

His failures have come in big spots like career defining spots yes and that’s what’s lacking if you actually go look at what that is capturing a lot of these really good performances are in events that don’t mean anything for example he had a really good run at AMX this year

Which defied a lot of the expectations that was boosting up that number he had a big performance at the Tour Championship last year where he was 10 back essentially of havland with the sagger start that it doesn’t matter he has a big positive variance to expectation at last year’s

Masters but he was never a factor win yeah never in it and we have example we have recent examples of Riviera where he was bad that’s I would consider of the PG tour probably one or two events that are like of the non major like career defining so

If you win that one uh I mean we have Lac last year we have um the Masters in 2021 I don’t even remember was he in the mix yeah he was I think he was I think he was remember he was first- round leader and everybody

Complained about the fact he shot 62 and it was too easy and I think he was one back heading in Saturday and he was God awful he took a I think he took a seven on the EAS of the golf course number one yeah so it is a little unfair you cut me

A break on the Lac I was just very happy that Rory wasn’t winning and I think I was like two weeks away from just almost dying from the heart attack I wasn’t paying too much attention yeah your taunts when I had the Rory outright was

Notated I know I know you didn’t care I mean I might have wished you know ill will on you at that point but I’m like you know what his heart just gave out I probably here but my my point is is that while statistically yes Xander has

Outperformed a lot of other people the problem is it’s been a lot of meaningless events and it’s like saying you’re clutch in week five against the Panthers right exactly that is that is per absolutely perfect yeah yes in meaningless regular season games and the playoffs choke done so anyways with

Regard to this tournament though look like he’s eight to one to win no if you think he’s gonna bounce back after heartbreak and do well here I personally just don’t think I we we’re now transitioning in the schedule this has been a lot of big events a lot of golf

These guys have played and now it’s the leadup to the Masters like I know you know there’s some good players here JT and Xander and speed JT is not good anymore well okay it’s a little debatable but he’s good relative to this field fine I just I don’t have really an

Appetite to bet any anyone under really 20 to1 this week given just come off the players the master is in a couple weeks um the weather is going to be absolute garbage that’s going to create a lot of chaos and Havoc especially with the guy Alexander who I absolutely do not trust

In the wind uh I mean I I think not as bad not as bad as morawa but he’s close so what screwed me up with Mor with uh Xander was that he won a windy final round Travelers and then he won a windy skyish open it’s like all right maybe I

Need to re-evaluate but then like it just went right back to he can’t perform in the win in bad weather the scars that he won was it really that windy I don’t was firm it was windy he actually did really bad that’s right and then we had

The [ __ ] then we had the flaccid open the week week after no [ __ ] win no yeah because that’s the one Mor Kyle won nope that’s the one cam Smith won oh oh you’re GNA you’re gonna backtrack then at that point that was the best open ever I apiz that funny you actually did

That’s encapsulates the entire weekend when you were [ __ ] on St Andrews as the worst golf course in the world because your boy wasn’t winning only Rory was winning but then he won and now it’s just the best open ever Great Golf best open ever I I I see what’s

Happening here I’m glad you reenacted that entire weekend forever that was perfect but look what can I what can I say okay so so did you bet and all right let’s just expand this out to 25 to one let’s go from like Xander to sunj there’s like eight guys I only bet I

Only bet one guy under uh 55 I bet Harmon okay I bet Harmon so did everybody else I bet him at 35 because I knew number I got him at 27 all right Harmon ain’t winning this thing no he’s [ __ ] 100% no he’s not

No I mean the reason why I bet him was obviously coming off a good finish he has a good finish here it was 35 to one I was just like that’s just mispriced yeah but I just this is just how this stuff works he’s not work he is the only

Thing the only thing that makes we think he might is man he’s I don’t know he’s he’s just he potted so well for the most part and these are the same type of greens and I don’t know I feel like once he gets it rolling he gets it rolling of course

History here is mixed uh I feel like he’s a much better golfer than he was even [ __ ] two or three years ago when he got that uh top five top 10 one or the other um but yeah I know whatever man it’s 25 I got him at 27 you got him

At 35 I think he’s down Ste down like 20 at this point yeah okay so all right so let’s just play a game would you rather bet if you wanted to bet somebody under 31 would you rather bet Brian Haron or Tony feno Harmon okay I mean listen if

This field um yeah is on my card but he is not a winner so so cam young actually hit his IRS pretty good last week I know that’s what that’s what had me looking at him in the 200 plus too like real solid and cam Young’s been good in bad weather yeah I

Know I know I can’t do it so so where I I can’t do it okay so where’s Cam Young on your card then I got a first round leader okay all right because he gets out of really good hot hot starts okay what about like what’s his like top 20

Like position price or top 10 price I mean do I even really want to dabble in a top 10 positional Market this week with short odds because I probably not given no so his top 20 was still plus 13 or his top his top 20 was plus

135 I believe so so I’m seeing a three to one for a top 10 yeah just Tak the top 20 top 20 is I saw plus one35 plus one50 no dead heat but does that one have dead Heats mine doesn’t have Dead Heat no this one does not have Dead Heat

I would like that that’s a fine bet very interesting maybe that will be one because I have not placed a single positional bet yet I got I’m gonna I’m gonna write that down I have four loser top 20s and one top 10 all right let’s

Go over one last name in here I mean look look like I’m not I think I’m just done with Sam Burns at this point I understand he’s been great here I’m I’m done yeah I’m done with him speed has is a complete disaster right now um I don’t

Got my trust yet though and he didn’t hit I if he hit his irons better last week I think I would consider it but he didn’t it was mostly off the tea and I think he gained a bunch of Strokes around the green too uh yeah two and a half

So probably a pass for me if you if if he’s he’s towards the bottom of this field with long irons too that’s that’s another concerning thing I mean well also it well in that data you have that terrible stretch last year right yeah and that terrible stretch here it’s like

There’s it’s like he’s Dr Jackal and Mr Hyde last year there’s a lot of really good form and a lot of really bad that that’s the problem like you can’t really isolate so it’s like all right who’s showing up but I agree with you like over 150 over 200 he’s complete dra yeah

It’s bad so yeah so it’s it’s harming for me up at the top just like everybody else Y is what it is maybe listen maybe after what happened last week maybe we’ll get the community win be nice but uh yeah I I mean the only thing really
