Might be an understatement uh Saturday was a little bit of a challenge with the wind but Sunday was a beautifully glorious day sunny day in Las Vegas a perfect early March afternoon it was nice we had a we had a great day um great race and an absolutely phenomenal
The dominant Day by our buddy Kyle Larson yeah I mean Kyle Larson is kind of uh I mean this is sort of become a home away from home from him he is a California kid so it is kind of like a home track popular win the crowd was
Going oh it was incred popular win it’s two in a row in Las Vegas that’s his third career win in Las Vegas and I think he certainly served notice that guess what who’s the guy to beat to win the championship right now how many 1.5 mile tracks do we have on the schedule
We got a lot and you got to come back to Las Vegas again in the fall and Hendrick Motorsports I mean Kyle lson William Byron Alex Bowman they have some phenomenal stats here as of late remember back in the day that we used to say uh Las Vegas motp was was Jack Roush
Racing right that was Rous and the forge you’re right guess what it is not any longer it is right now dominated by by not just Chevrolets but the hendrik Chevrolets um phenomenal day for them it was a phenomenal day for them but I tell you one thing that was pretty cool is
Seeing your top three finishers we had a Chevy we had a Toyota and we had a for which really shows that everybody can run well in Las Vegas I think there’s a lot of people coming in that said outside of Byron and Larson I think they really thought the Toyotas were going to
Come in and be really really strong they were there were some really good Toyotas I mean we saw that with Ty put a lot of pressure on Larson Ty Gibbs Ty Gibbs TRX Hamlin I mean a lot of guys in Toyotas and they’re running well but let’s talk

They’re both in the playoffs I mean remember years ago when we used to say Kevin Harvick was slumping I looked at you and say yeah I would have killed to have that slump in his career but you know same thing I mean right now Chase Elliott’s eighth in points Alex Bowman
13th in points but when it comes to talking about are they actually a factor in these Races they are not and their two teammates are absolutely a factor in every race you know what’s amazing when you look at and we don’t this is not a stat that we’re really going to talk
About today but you know Joey Lano and Chase Elliott both have gone more than 30 races without a win now um that’s I believe he’s at 30 or 31 races now without a win I think I saw that the other day I think Chase is at about 34

Uh won didn’t win big money a lot of people who won money on Kyle Larson last week he was plus uh 110 for a top three he was minus 160 on a head-to-head versus Byron rightfully so he was plus 120 for the Chevrolets and his his
Opening line hasn’t moved a l lot he was already one of the preseason favorites at plus 600 he is now a plus 500 which honestly if you want Kyle harson I don’t see that it’s not going to go worse than plus 500 it’s just the rest of the
Regular season it is not going to go any worse yeah I mean I honestly I I I mean we always say this is how you you do a nice job of of hedging your bet and looking ahead but here’s the deal I don’t think at plus four 500 I think
That unless he gets hurt this season unless he miss 20 races uh Kyle Larson is going to keep getting smaller and smaller for a championship KY Larson William Byron are the two guys that you are not going to see their odds get any better I mean they are what they are in

There where I believe desperation sometimes makes you better Christopher Bell he’s off to a rough start this year and Chris for Bell is also very good there and he’s very good there Kyle Larson ready for this the last 10 races nine top 10 but we’re talking about odds to win
But what third fourth nth 1 7th fourth fourth lead laps was the championship well and he won the championship look those things but you say Chris for Bell that’s one that I do kind of like Chris does not have as many starts four top 10 in eight

And because you have blay but really Blay’s the only maybe legano you can talk about a little bit but blay is really the only one in the conversation being that strong uh but I I I don’t disagree but I think that all three manufacturers and honestly for the first

Winners like like we had a Suarez who moved one guy who we’ve seen creep down a little bit is Ty Gibbs has he um I believe Ty Gibbs was more like about 35 to1 when we started he’s down to 25 to1 because he has been running better and
