All right good morning let’s welcome the team from Majestics GC nice shirt Sam thank you we have co- captains I palter Lee Westwood Henrik senton and also Sam horfield welcome guys thank you thank you um you’ve all competed here at the Hong Kong golf club before in some

Capacity can you just share some of your initial thoughts on Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Golf Club I’ll start with lee yeah I love Hong Kong it’s a it’s a great City uh very vibrant City uh obviously a lot going on um Golf Course is I guess a little shorter than most

Weeks we play nowadays which is nice um you know like the variation of golf courses it’s tight uh Green’s quite small um it looks in excellent condition I’m going to go out out and have a look at it this afternoon so um yeah I’m looking forward to this week it’s uh it it

Normally good crowds as well so uh yeah it’s got a good feel about it this tournament yeah Sam never been to Hong Kong never played here so no comment your lovely dinner last night though yeah it was it was good yeah that was nice um yeah I’ve played here quite

A lot and um you know for us it was kind of a normal stop in the back end of the year schedule for us uh it was the UBS Hong Kong for a number of years when when I played um played quite nicely here through the years it’s it’s a course

Which sets up you know I think um for us as as uh some oldies that don’t hit it 350 yards uh it’s quite refreshing to come to a course where you know for for the most part we won’t really be using driver um there’s only a couple of holes

Probably on the course that lends itself to to hit and driver so uh accuracy is is something hopefully team Majestics can kind of lean on this week and Henrik wearing his three-wood out and I’m not even sure if if Sam’s gonna take driver this week um but yeah the the city’s

Incredible it’s got some some great NTI spots we had a wonderful dinner in the library last night um it’s it’s a fun city to be around we’re going we’re off to Happy Valley on tonight so for the horse racing and um it’s a busy week for

Us in general we’ve got uh Aurora our film crew are here this week filming us uh with Team Majestics our Camp Confidential that we released um a few weeks ago we’ll be doing you know episodes uh and filming quite a bit you know this week to uh to kick off uh you

Know episode four back at the back end of this year and then we got a busy day Saturday we got 60 clients in town from okx which is great so looking after them corporately and um you know really kind kind of Hosting you know one of our one

Of of our biggest sponsors it’s it’s going to be a great week HRI yeah and um for me it was it was a first appearance here in in March last year so um great to be back um like we touched on already golf courses old style three line uh really nice layouts

And uh yeah had a great week here in in in March so looking forward to another great week a lot of friendly and familiar faces so uh yeah looking forward to it and hopefully uh we can film a few birders along the way way too uh Ian you just touched on the

Activation with your partners okx this week um they’ve got a big priz presence here in Asia can you just tell us a little bit more about that and then SP sort of leading on from bringing live golf to different parts of the world and how important that is as well yeah I

Mean okx uh as you say are uh very prominent here in Asia uh crypto platform trading platform um you know we’re proud uh you know to have them with Team Majestics um you know we’ve done a couple of things for them at the minute but this year is probably going to be uh

Stepping it up another level so I think we’re all quite excited to you know entertain all of their guests this weekend uh we had a great dinner um with Haida in uh in jeda last week so you know discussing you know how we’re going to activate the partnership rolling out through 2024

2025 um but it’s uh it’s a it’s a big market for them in Asia and you know something that we’re proud to have them on board with us awesome pass it over to Mike Lee uh are you GNA provide some pointers tonight or at the Jockey Club um I’m trying to do some

Research well I I got an easy fix so I went in March so whatever I pick go the opposite way yeah probably right whatever tip I give probably back the other one yeah but it’d be nice to go I’ve never been to race in here so uh you know it’d be

Nice to experience Happy Valley and uh and I’ve watched it on TV obviously um hoping to bump into Harry Bentley who rides over here as well he’s ridden for me in the past so uh have a chat with him he’s um he’s doing well here so um yeah I’m really looking forward to

Actually hope it’s going to be happy valley not sad Valley tonight uh Brant I know I was going to ask all of you about just how important the Asian market is for the Majestics in general in terms of your business aspirations Henrik yeah I think uh I mean Asia is a

Huge golfing Market it’s it’s a huge market for growth um for the game and and um yeah we obviously want to position ourselves well in in that uh in that way and uh um yeah having Liv come to Hong Kong and and in in couple of

Months or month and a half to Singapore it’s uh yeah it’s it’s a it’s a big market for for golf in general and and for live and for us as a team as well so U yeah it’s something we we’re happy to be part of Lee do you have some thoughts

About Asia in terms of business you look at my career I’ve always come to Asia having it right from the very start so you know it’s a it’s a place I’ve always loved coming um it’s a it’s a a great market for us and and for live um you

Know hence we play two or three events here don’t we and uh um I’ve always enjoyed coming here and I’ve been successful here so uh hopefully that’ll continue um you know it’s a great great culture and nice people um hence I’ve you know kept coming back

Year after year after year so uh it’s nice to be in Hong Kong I haven’t played that much in Hong Kong only once in the past spent a lot quite a bit of time here doing corporate stuff and things like that but uh only played the tournament once uh which is quite

Strange but obviously played a lot um you know Thailand and Malaysia and Indonesia places like that so uh yeah it’s nice to venture out this way and uh and play a few tournaments here thanks guys hi guys I hope you guys are paid in Bitcoins because it has just gone

Through the roof is rocked hasn’t it yeah it highest price ever 68,000 at Cross you’ve got a few have you Joy no I haven’t but oh come on Joy back to the mining stages you can see what we watch on TV inia can’t you guys can I ask you I mean like this

Golf course seems to be set up for a team like you which is which has been the best in Fair’s hit which has been really good in Greens and regulations I think the only I mean stat that I can see is the putting where you guys have really

Disappointed how do you look at this week given the stats that you have got I mean the way you guys are playing you’re not the only one that’s been disappointing disappointed in that stat Joy um yeah I mean for myself yeah I haven’t been putting well and and I

Think as a team we haven’t been putting particularly well either so uh yeah I think uh as soon as we’re done here you’ll see us on the other side of that tent working away on the on the putting but obviously it’s it’s going to be it’s

Going to be um an important week to hit fers and greens uh it is some narrow t- shots and and small greens so um if we can keep that up and roll a few in I hope we can be in with a with a better

Chance of a result than we have been the first couple of goals I don’t think it really matters what kind of golf course it is if you don’t put well in a tournament you don’t do any good um and it’s EX exaggerated in this format where it’s only three rounds cuz

You can’t plud your way and ease your way into the tournament cuz you haven’t got much time we’ve got one less round so you have to come out fast and uh um almost be a streaky kind of player you know um and and get on a roll on the

Greens there’s there’s no room for just plotting it around like I said you know you’ve got to come out all guns blazing which makes it an exciting format but it also makes it a format where you’ve got to have 26 puts most days yeah yeah you

Um yeah I’m driving it nice and straight I’m not converting so um you know we we all know where we stand on statistics I think you know we’ve done a deep dive into areas of our game um which can help us pting has been highlighted as one of

Those uh it’s disappointing for myself it’s an area my game which normally I would say I’ve been pretty good through through the years um you know I have a new putter in the bag I’ve just changed my grip from a from a new grip to a grip

That I’ve always used for 20 years um so you know the rest of my game’s been pretty sharp um and I’ve just let myself down on the green so if we can rekindle a little bit of form on the greens then hopefully you know collectively I know

Sam has been working very hard he’s been working with a coach on his puttting and um puted actually okay last week which was great um but collectively I think we all need to pop better as a as a team and I think if we do that we’re going to

Have some we’re going to have some good results yeah Lee Lee you and sorry Sam no I was just going to say um I think putting on the putting green yesterday obviously I haven’t played but um they’re quite grainy which should help me Ian and Henrik growing up obviously

In Florida for myself and those boys living there um yeah I think we got a good good chance this week um and yeah I hate granny greens no I’m Swedish you love grainy greens you love grainy greens Lee you just love this part of the world don’t world don’t you you

Don’t mind sweating it out on the golf course great success as well yeah yeah throughout my career you know I’ve played well in Asia you know and in the the places that people don’t like to come to where it get a bit sticky I don’t know there too many to count I’ve

Never won round here like you though eh he’s told us a thousand times this week I told you a thousand times all right 500 999 so uh yeah um like I said before you know I’ve always enjoyed coming to Asia and uh I think the first time it came here was

1994 uh Malaysian Open I think it was in uh did you win no I didn’t in4 regularly born wasn’t even a thought actually so yeah now you’ve all taken the Mickey out of me let’s move [Laughter] on and apart from okx what you’re doing this week um you guys have done some

Phenomenal job with little sticks as well throughout the last year can you just talk to me about that part of and how important it is for you as a team yeah I mean you know I think it’s it’s one area where you know all of the teams are tasked to do some charitable

Work I think we’ve been one of the one of the teams that have adopted it as early as anybody and kind of we’re pretty proud little sticks has has been grown inhouse we’ve got a great team uh Jordan who works uh you know back in the

UK on this program for us has built a curriculum uh that curriculum has been rolled out through numerous schools now uh Orlando uh in the Newcastle area Luton it’s been piloted now I think in uh if I’m trying to remember now was 57 uh 57 schools um we’ve had some incredible

Success um in all of those schools from the feedback that we’ve had um you know varied varied disability um you know children have taken on our curriculum and taken it some some of the educational teachers really really like it um we’re very proud you know to have

That in place and I think as we grow over the next few years it’ll be really exciting for us to see where we can take it globally uh roll it out into as many schools as we as we possibly can and really start to have a deep deep dive in

In seeing how much it helps some of these children Phenix TV um can you comment on the Hong Kong culture you experience Ian just said you have some local food last night and I heard you did you T some Chinese white wine M Tha last night how

Was it feel and also do you have plan to do more sseeing and where do you want to visit oh I’ve had M Tha in the past can’t remember what it tasted like Le Lee chose the wine last night um it wasn’t that wine um but it was uh we was

In the library uh I think it’s the oldest private members club uh here in Hong Kong uh so local Chinese cuisine was absolutely magnificent um you know playing golf in this region for a very long time getting to know you know members of fanling that own certain restaurants in

Town uh Peter Lamb’s one of them who has a number of restaurants and again you know it’s one of the reasons why we love coming to Asia the food is so good uh we all love Asian food um and it’s been uh it’s it’s been a a good hub for us all I

Think um through all the years Lee’s played a lot of golf over here in Asia he’s done a lot of corporate activities here so have I and um you know I know this is Sam’s first first time but you know already I think uh he he quite

Enjoys being yeah apart from uh horse racing tonight anywhere do you want to visit do you have any other uh relaxing time after the match by the time we get going there’s not there’s not a lot of time by the time we get back to the

Hotel and um you know relax have dinner and obviously uh some of us are going on to Play Macau next week um but I’ve been here a lot I’ve seen quite a lot of Hong Kong and uh you know we always love coming here to play

Honest with you um when I got here on Monday we went out and my girlfriend and I we went into the city a little bit and um saw bit of the culture saw saw what was going on um but yeah no it’s really cool place so

Far um she’s going to see one of the Buddhas today I think um so yeah I’m looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing what she has to say about that um wish I could be there visiting it honestly but yeah um so yeah no all all

Good so far and yeah looking forward to uh coming back so what’s your personal comment about the uh fan Golf Course well well the chipping green and putting Green’s nice uh that’s as far as I’ve gotten so far I’m going to go play 9ine this afternoon with Ian at some
