Missing out on the Run he’s busy with some family stuff taking kids around all over the place with some doctor’s appointments and stuff so we are doing a quick little solo show you this morning and we’re going to be brushing over some names that I’m a big fan of this week
Kind of taking a quick peek at some ownership options those kind of things as we go through this before we do that we got to check out some stuff at at the rabbit hole Ron and the PGA golf um bsb’s Twitter account has been posting this stuff like beautifully It’s a
Wonderful tool you can filter on pretty much any situation you ever wish for for people like me that is just amazing you can use you can use it to filter on Strokes gain ball striking Strokes gain off the te for less than driver and difficult courses you don’t have to just
Filter on just short courses you can filter on difficult short courses you can filter on Strokes gained around FL can filter on pretty much times that guys have just gained three Strokes pting extra you know like you can filter on anything you could think of and you can do it numerically
And geographically and sub objectively there’s all these different filters go and check it out if you are at in the Vivid Seats Vivid app States you can get that for a very affordable $5 for the rest of the year so that’s a really really cool deal over there and I’m sure

Got to figure out which ones they are I’m assuming one or two chalky guys will still be playing pretty good golf this week as we should expect but this golf course has eaten up some golfers in the past we’ll have to see how it goes the
Wind looks like it’s going to be picking up on Friday Thursday looks a little little more calm than we can expect at PGA National over the last few years but we got some some way they coming up after Thursday’s round so we got roria
122 Cameron young at 107 so we we got a instant drop off there $1,500 drop off Matt Fitzpatrick at 106 Russell Henley 102 and Tom Kim at 101 in the 10K range there if you aren’t going to be playing Rory maroy my favorite play in this
Range is Tom Kim I think especially for big gpps that’s the way I’m going to be rolling I’ll be in my 150 Max again this week I think the volatility of this kind of a golf course really wants me to be playing a lot more lineups to kind of
Get some corn fairy tour guys in the five1 and 6K range there into some of my lineups so we’ll have to see how that goes this week we had a good week last week Tom Kim in my opinion is one of these guys that can really have a boom
Or bus type situation he doesn’t necessarily provide you the consistency you’re looking for but he can be a winner of a golf tournament cam young obviously Russell hangley obviously would you really trust them to win this golf tournament if they were in the mix that’s up to you will Matt it’s Patrick
Find himself in the the mix this week is also a tough question to ask especially at 106 so there’s a lot going on Fitz hasn’t necessarily been playing his best golf most of his his game has been off the the round the green play obviously his best stat there but just everything
About his game just seems weird now does Florida life change that up for you a little bit who the heck knows so we’ll have to see how that goes there but my two favorite plays are Rory maroy and Tom Kim in the spot potentially playing both them if you want because we’ve got
That 5K range now in the nines Eric call is going to be ultra popular I really like him a lot this week if you want to get off of him there’s a plus 140 plus 120 out there for you guys for a top 20 bet on Eric Cole potentially just bet
That kind of get yourself in a hedged out situations and then you can just leave him out of your lineups if he misses then then you lose that bet but you’ve also gained leverage on 20% of the field which is the way it’s looking over there for Eric Cole so we’ll have
To wait and see on coal ownership wise but 20% is borderline palatable for me it might be one of the few guys that kind of do eat he has been driving the ball a lot better in 2024 he’s ranking a really nice 38th in this field off the
Te over the last 24 rounds which is not Eric Cole esque this ain’t the Eric Cole we used to he’s driving the ball much better which is really important around this venue that he played well at last year so we’ll see what he can get up to
Sjm and minwu Lee are two names that are going to be pretty low owned rightfully so minwu horrible approach play it’s going to be very tricky for him to kind of navigate this golf course as 135th best approach player in the field over the last little while sunj M seems
Broken if you were to take a flyer on him on one of those two it would be sjay but neither of them really appeal to me right now another chalky option in this range is it’s going to be just bouncing around these two guys it’s Benny an and
Chris Kirk sitting in the n 9594 area there Benny an played great golf around this golf course in the past he’s had four top fives in the last 11 starts that he’s been in so he’s got that upside he’s just looking for that win
Missed a 4 foot putt at the Sony to win that tournament or at least extend the playoff against Grayson Murray who’s done nothing since so talk about just crazy stuff that we’ve experienced this year I like Benny an I like Daniel Burger as well I think at $9,200
He’s a a reasonable price I did expect it to be a bit lower than that though so I kind of like that it’s 92 because he’s played great here in the past and if there’s a a place for him to break out at it’s this golf course I
Think he’s absolutely live to have a great week finally start to see that short game shine that we’ve we’ve missed from burer in the first few starts that he’s played the ball striking has been exactly what we’ve expected from him in the past if he can get that short game
To click around a golf of course that he’s found IM men success on in the past he’s an option at $9,200 that can save you some seriously good cash there for someone that might potentially contend for the lead this year Shane Larry’s always an option at $9,300 these are all very very chalky
Options here in the 9k range we’re not necessarily going to be distinguishing ourselves between anybody the only other option you can kind of pivot off of is with Cory coners who’s a little bit of a concern for me I’m not necessarily that appeal to him based off how he’s been
Playing the last little while his short game has gone South I think we’re going to have to just wait and see until we get to those courses down in Texas where Corey kind of looks to repeat again so we’ll have to see what he gets up to a
Fade I will be fading is Keith Mitchell I think he’s going to be catching tons of steam at $9,000 he has this win at this venue from 2019 or something along those lines that I think everyone’s kind of glaming on to if you’re going to be r ing Keith
Mitchell don’t expect him to finish inside the top five he hasn’t done that in the last 12 months and that’s going to be a problem for me if I’m going to be rostering someone in 150 lineups they need to be able to be capable of finishing inside the top five for me
Even if they aren’t doing that maybe a bit better in the top 10 world but Keith Mitchell’s only finished inside the top 10 in about nine of his starts and if you’re going to be charging me $9,000 for a golf of that caliber I don’t know if I’m going to go
There especially with that kind of ownership so he’s a definite fade for me in that range along with the other two Asian Persuasions there with SJ M and minwu Lee we’ll have to see how the rest unfold as ownership shakes out but there’s all viable options there I think
You’re going to have to just kind of pick and choose your battles in the 9k range which this week is a lot more appealing than last so some fun times I think if Ron say this is the range that will determine whether or not you win
These contest and I agree with you Ron so wherever you are I agree $8,900 we got Denny McCarthy who provides us with some leverage opportunities there in the single digit ownership range he has been playing okay golf the ball striking has been rather lackluster the the round the
Green play and the and the putting for Denny isn’t hasn’t been up to like his Elite level of putting either he’s sitting outside the top 20 of the last 24 rounds putting so that’s a decision you have to make on Denny but I think I’m going to be leaning into him he’s
Played okay golf here in the past he’s one of the few options that can potentially flirt with the top 10 there I know Denny’s also in the same boat as as Keith Mitchell with the top fives kind of thing but he’s at least been inside the top 10 in a quarter of his
Start so far so a lot to like from Denny at $8,900 as a solid pivot off of Mitchell Steven Jer mat Pon two names I’m really a fan of this week maybe potentially even playing them a bit more than those 9k options above um they seem
Like they coming in at a few percent lower than the options up there they provide you with some really good salary relief mat is I think everyone’s expecting this guy to kind of fall down the ladder at some point I took a look at what he was getting up to on the DP
World Tour he won over there had multiple top eight finishes he’s been playing great golf for a while now so he’s not going to keep his foot off the he’s not going to let his foot off the gas I think he’s going to be looking to continue playing the Great Golf he has
Been Steph jger just a great course fit in my opinion you know he’s got that solid driving ability to kind of make sure he takes care of business off the te he’s 10th in the field off the te on shorter golf courses from 7200 yards and
In um he’s he’s an $8,800 option that you can really start anchoring your lineups around he’s been playing Great Golf got two top threes in the last three starts can he just string four good rounds of golf together he’s typically done three in the last little
While which kind of gets him inside that top five but in order to win a golf tournament you got to do all four really well that week and he just hasn’t been able to do that so once he starts then things are going to be shining so maybe
This is the week for Steven Jer I don’t think so but I still like him at 8 8800 for what he can provide you from a safety perspective the guy’s been just making Cuts like crazy and at this kind of a golf course that’s what you’re
Looking for so love me some stevenh jger we’re gonna have to see a serious serious situation here with Jake nap potentially coming in with Michelob Ultras still flying all over his mullet after celebrating the one down in Mexico we got Al Mondo over here saying such a
Dangerous course I agree about taking a chance against most chalks 6K range was good to me last week stats important but recent form and great putting are always important stats are important but recent form and great pting are always yeah I don’t know the recent form thing I tweeted out something earlier about
Having recent form entering this week with bad course history and then guys with bad course with great course history have been playing quite poorly entering the week so that’s going to be a really interesting situation to monitor this week trying to figure out whose course history overcomes the
Recent poor form or if poor form can kind of bounce back with a course history that guys have played well yet in the past or if someone’s been playing well lately and shows up to a golf course that they’ve struggled at in the past how’s that going to work out for
You you know there’s a guy called Tom hogi at $7,900 that I’m still grappling with in that opinion so we’ll have to see how that goes I don’t know about putting being absolutely important this week I think around the green play and irons are the way I’m going to be looking at
The most if I were to pick two of the four key strokes gained areas to kind of model around particularly from a 125 to 200 they’re on approach so Mondo I know you were listening to me yesterday but you got to go with the approach this
Week my friend I think that’s going to be very very important um and then kind of just figure out where you want to go with course history and recent form I think that’s going to be golfer dependent there Jake knap as we were saying I think he’s a sneaky option at
4% $8,400 he’s a very good iron player everybody’s going to look at Sunday kind of expect him to kind of Hit the golf ball like he did on Sunday he was leading a golf tournament on the PGA tour as a corn fairy tour rookie playing
On the PGA tour for the first year like of course your golf’s going to be all over the place he still ended up winning the thing his short game is tidy he’s long off the tea he’s not going be hitting driver or even that mini driver
He’s going to be hitting three irons to the exact right spot that he wants to he’s a great iron player I think with that kind of power he can hit a lot of clubbed down options off the tea and really take care of business there at a
Casual $8,400 and sub five% ownership so that’s an option I’m kind of being going to look into he could absolutely blow up but hey you only have to play him in like 10% of your lineups to get 2x on the field there and see what he can do
So that’s going to be my like aggressive pivot in this range bit of Jake knap going back to him there again some other options that I think are going to be quite popular but not necessarily too chalky in this range it’s going to be luke list at $8,100 and 8% ownership projected right
Now I think his ball striking has just been immaculate I think once you kind of assess luk L current putting situation we could really see him start to bounce back up those leaderboards like we saw over in the Genesis Invitational where Luke was contending for the lead from
Most the week so we’ll have to see what he can do I think he’s going to be a promising option there’s a lot of lot of questions in this range though at the $8500 Mark outside of those top two guys are really fancy so we’ll have to really
See where you want to go Justin Rose doesn’t give me any confidence right now he hasn’t necessarily been playing that good at all I think a viable option is to kind of just almost skip over the bottom of this 8K range and leaning to these guys at the top of the seven I
Think there’s a few more options up here that that potentially could could win you these tournaments because Taylor pendrith was absolutely and utterly owned by everybody last week and then he missed the cut in Epic fashion this week he’s looking far less owned I think his
Price is less than it was last week I think that’s a good chance for him to kind of bounce back he typically thrives on these shorter courses he’s played well at Pebble I think things like that where he can also use his distance to kind of just Club down and position
Himself nicely in the Fairway we’ve seen he can get up to there his approach players being mediocre for someone that’s $7,800 which I’m totally fine with so give me him Adam spanson is potentially oh boy I don’t know what to do with him at $7,700 he’s the most
Owned option south of $8,000 in on the Slate this week maybe potentially rivaled by Christian bade note so between those two guys I think you’re going to have to make a decision if you want to play either or both and then make sure that you don’t necessarily
Play them in an Ultra chalky option because they’re going to be quite a popular seven 7K double dip there from what we’ve seen be’s been playing fantastic golf he leads the field over the last 24 rounds in Strokes gained approach it has only been 13 shot link
Rounds because we’ve been on the west coast there with missing rounds so but it’s been a very very interesting development on the iron front there for Christian bazo who’s played well yet in the past now the thing is I’m not necessarily sure I’m going to go to him
In a gppp he’s upside to me just seems severely limited I know he’s playing Great Golf right now but he just seems to find a way to not finish inside the top 20 as much as we should and at a at a 177% clip 8% inside the top 10 it’s
Not really going to be looking like I’m going to be betting this guy to to be in my DFS lineups and flying up the leaderboard so we’ll have to leave him alone for a hot minute and kind of just reassess there I bet him for a top 40
Which I really like I think that can be a very salvageable option if you want to get exposure to Chris John bade note this week we can see how that goes potentially leaning into spanson who also hasn’t had a top five in the last 12 months so despite the course history
And the recent form he still hasn’t finished inside the top five in any of his tournaments I know he finished 10th at the Genesis but you know I think he can come in Ultra owned and potentially that’s a solid fade option too so we’ll have to see what happens with those two
Guys but I potentially will be fading them both in this range someone I don’t mind playing is Thor on Allison he let me down last week after making the cut I was heavily invested in him I think I had about two-thirds of my lineups with Thon or so he was very very much
Involved in my roster construction and made the cut and then kind of just fou down the leaderboard over the weekend so he seems like a golfer that was playing some good golf over on the DP World Tour won a tournament or two and I think potentially doesn’t seem to fit this
Golf course as well as people would think but he’s a very good golfer and I think we’ve seen Euros play good golf on this kind of a golf course or not this kind of this golf course so we’ve seen them play nicely we’ll have to see what
He can get up to he’s looking half the ownership of bezi and senson in this range so some options there to kind of pivot off of I’m a big fan of Tom heri I have him for an outright but I just don’t trust his safety this week that’s
Going to be a problem if he’s going to be 11% owned 12% owned for someone that’s never made the cut in in the last three or four times we’ve got a problem you know that could be a great opportunity to get off of him and kind of lean into pendrith or bson Mark
Hubard someone that I don’t mind playing his iron play has been great he let us down over the weekend in Mexico as well lost six and a quarter Strokes in two rounds of golf there brutal stuff so we’ll see what goes on in that department I don’t mind you know those
Options though I think they’re going to be definitely better options than say the likes of hogi you know feel like he’s scary I think his upside is incredibly good but he’s super owned for someone that hasn’t been that consistent it scares me so we’ll dive down The Bard
Yet to Rio hit atsun who I think hasn’t necessarily lived up to the hype that he showed up to the PJ t with I think this course probably suits him a bit better than the ones we’ve been playing you I don’t think Mexico or the Farmers kind
Of suits his game I think he’s a bit more of a Precision short game specialist which we will see a lot more of this week and I think at $7,300 is he’s kind of looking under 5% own there this week so we can really lean into
Hitsun um to do his thing at this golf course this week two other options that I think you want to Pivot off of from is Doug gim at $7,000 he’s looking like he’s going to be double- digit owned and the problem with Doug gim is he’s playing fantastic Golf and this is the
Conundrum we have to deal with this week we’ve got guys coming from the West Coast guys coming from Mexico very different types of layouts lot less water involved lot less penalities off the off the side of the fairways around the greens we’ve got guys playing well
On those kind of courses now come to a venue where Doug gim has also not played good golf if you take a look at what Doug’s been up to at this golf course in the last little while Doug gims missed the last three Cuts he’s played at you
So he’s basically in the same situation as Tom hogi if we’re going to fade Tom hogi for the same reasons as we just mentioned above there we’re going to have to do it with Doug gim who’s also looking like he’s pushing double digits somebody that I think is the opposite
Mold is Billy horel at $7,000 as well looking a little popular but not nearly in the same realm as Doug gim Billy hasn’t necessarily been playing the golf that Doug has but if you take a look at what Billy horw has been up to over the last little while at this golf course
Since 2019 he’s had two 42nd Place finishes and a pair of 16s so he’s made the cut in all four chances that he’s had an opportunity to play her and he even made the cut here in 2023 when he was not playing good golf at all so
That’s good to know I think he’s playing much better golf right now he’s had a few rough starts on the PJ tour but he had been entering the week he played quite nicely at Sony and I think once Billy hell gets on this golf course he thrives on this Bermuda surface and I
Think at $7,000 he gives you an option to definitely find himself inside the top 20 by the end of the week some other options we want to chat about you in the 6K range somebody that I will be leaning into is Carson young I think he suits
This golf course impeccably well he’s a very affordable $6,800 he will be some chalk I’ll be eating I know that it’s not necessarily the way to go about that in the 6K range but he’s someone I’m going to be looking at I think you got to eat some chalk at
Some point I like what he can get up to we’ll be dodging the likes of Davis Thompson I don’t think he suits this golf course that well there’s only technically two par FS at this venue so they added a third one which is basically still the same length as the
Original Par Four on the 10th hole there so we’re going to have guys playing that as a par five but it’s technically still a par four I don’t know how that’s going to affect these dudes call it two par fives Davis Thompson is an elite par five specialist he doesn’t necessarily
Have that opportunity here this week so we’ll have to see what he gets up to some other options that I really like down here are Gary Woodland looks like he’s going to be kind of under owned I think people are forgetting that he played f fantastic golf at this golf
Course in the past he’s $6,500 Woodland has an eighth and a fifth to go along with a 36th from 2019 so lots of good stuff from Woodland in this department I can I can see him playing some good golf he’s been ball striking the crap out of it the last
Little while and I think going to a venue that he feels comfortable on on the greens might help him a lot more so some great course history there from Woodland another option that I’m kind of be looking at that hasn’t had the course opportunities to really Thrive as a DP
World Tour player is Alexander Bor I think he’s his opportunity to really lean into his irons this week is going to be Paramount I think he’s accurate off the tea extremely accurate he’s like one of the most accurate golfers in the field he finished 11th at the AMX and
Hasn’t really played too much golf since so he’s not going to be out ofs side out of mind right with Alex Alexander Bor there so we’ll see what he can get up to big fan of him going into this week I think he’s definitely someone I’ll be
Rostering quite a lot of I think he’s going to have an opportunity to shine potentially somewhere in the 10 15% range for me in play or pool compositions there Justin low is going to be a popular option he’s been playing some good golf coming into the week he’s
Also very good long iron player for that like mid Iron Range we’re going to see from 150 to 200 a lot of shots coming from there about two-thirds of your shots coming from 125 to 200 this week so he’s grading out fantastically well for that range I’ll be looking at Justin
Low at $6,400 as well or lower however you want to say it some other options that are going to be rather chalky relative to their price tag is CT pan if you’re looking for an a boom or bus situation CT Pan’s just been top tiing
Like crazy 25% of his starts have been a top 10 25% of his starts have also been a top 40 so that gives you any indication of what CT pan gets up to he’s a boomer bus candidate so he’s an absolute consideration in these gpps at
$6,200 and he’s going to be a little more popular than you can expect but at four 5% whatever I think he’s a very cheap option that can really find yourself looking pretty once he gets into that into that contentious range there another option that’s going to be
A bit more safe not quite the upside of CT pan in fact he doesn’t have a top five in the last 12 months worth of starts is Aaron badley though he’s going to provide you with a top 40 rate of 53% so double what CT pan has and he’s the
Same price at $6,100 and I think just getting guys through in this price range is going to be very important this week so you can see what you can get up to with Aaron badley I think I’ll be also potentially I don’t know what to do with
Andrew Novak I think he’s gonna be very popular I’ve bet him outright I don’t know if I trust the fact that he’s going to be 6 seven 89% owned at $5,900 just based off of two good performances lately you know I think I’m GNA willing I’m going to take my chances
On Fading him this week potentially kind of just let him do his thing and just see where it goes if he wins this tournament so be it but that’s how I’m going to kind of approach him this week I’m I’m thinking it’s a lightning in a bottle type situation so we’ll have to
Kind of keep an eye on Andrew Novak Sam Ry is also going to catch some steam he has two top 10 at this golf course but over the last little while he doesn’t have hardly any top 10 or top 20s or even a top 30 to start the year so it’s
Been an abysmal start to the year for Sam Ryder he does tend to fit this golf course quite nicely for some reason I don’t know if I’m going to be leaning into 5% worth of Sam Ryder at $5,900 though so just some options to consider as pivots would probably be Chandler
Phillips I think he’s an option that I’m definitely going to be looking at he’s been making I think he’s made all four of his Cuts so far this year he’s been playing quite nicely he’s 38th in the most recent form sitting down here at $5,900 that’s easily one of the best
Kind of forms entering this week for this price tag I think he’s going to be an option for me for sure there’s going to be a guy by the name of Ben Kohl’s I know he came off a bit of an injury but he suits this golf course
So well as a corn fairy tour candidate he’s $5,600 I don’t think anyone’s going to own him I really like what he can do on a course like this he’s hyper accurate and a very good iron player so we’ll have to see what he can get up to at
$5,600 another name I will mention before we start getting out of here is Bud Cary he’s $5,500 he’s been bought ball striking it banana is good but the problem has been his short game I think moving from po maybe to the Bermuda courses where I think he’s probably being from the down
Down in the Southeast anyway don’t quote me on that though I think the change of scenery will be good for his short game we know that ball striking is going to be there he $5,500 and you know what he’s capable of if you go take a look at what he was up
To before he got injured so love what he can do I think another option that’s kind of if you’re looking at like a s grass comp it’s Chad Ry he tends to play these like Florida courses semi well so take a peek at him at $5,500 as well and
Then one or two other names even further down in the 5K range is Joe heith I love myself some Joe heith I think he’s $530000 1% own projected right now in his four starts in the PGA Tour he’s made the top 40 in two of them so he’s
Playing good golf and he’s a very accurate driver of the golf ball I think if you either have tons of distance to hit those short those long off the te or just be an accurate driver of the golf ball in general that’s going to really benefit you this week he’s very good
Around the greens he kind of suited the medium course scoring on the corn fairy tour a lot better than he did easy so birdie Fest aren’t Joe High Smith’s thing he likes to do the more difficult scoring we as to scramble and kind of stay patient so I see Mondo in the chat
Also mentioning Aaron badley will have to find his price tag in here but I think he’s a great option he’s also been we already spoken about him I think we spoke about him up there already so we’re going to mention him one more time and then Parker C’s $5,100 the guy has
Been a scintillating ball striking Factory over the last 24 rounds he’s 26th in the field in ball striking I know it’s only 12 recorded shot Ling rounds but he’s if you’re looking for a ball Striker to just dismantle this course he’s $5,100 and the putting isn’t as bad as
Some of these other guys that are really good ball Strikers that just cannot put it’s like bad but not that bad he’s also been playing good golf kind of making his way downtown walking fast on the PJ T since getting his PGA t a card so some
Of those guys are definitely going to be in the mix for me I’m a big big fan of the of the Joe High Smith play we’ll probably be having 10 to 15% of him in my rosters so that’s what’s cooking over here on the BET Spurs golf show um we
