Ryan tranger for your class a pro I’m recording and we’re taking a look here at Adam Scott from the Genesis Invitational I I captured this footage myself and what a great setup look at this guy athletic position very good there let’s check his balance let’s see
His rear uh let’s put a vertical line here behind him and looks like his rear is a little behind his heels and his armpits are basically over the ball of his foot so that’s a good sign of balance the armpits over the ball of the foot arms
Hang down grip points at the belt line right now let’s take a look at some of his fundamentals here so we’re going to put the rear line the Box around his head here’s a swing plane line here’s his posture angles that he starts in now let’s take a look here as he swings
Back all right so he starts the club back here going straight back and up up the plane as you can see here look at that and at this point you can see that he’s gotten that toe up right kept his posture really nicely here and then
Let’s see here continues up all the way up to the top with this swing nice neutral uh hand position you can see you know not too much of a flex or no bow really basically a neutral hand position look at this all the way up to the top
And this is something I see all all the great players keeping that posture really nicely head position taking it straight back and toe up many golfers can improve from those ideas then from there let’s take a look when he brings the club back down where
He’s bringing it so here we go and what do you know he brings this thing down from the inside right so he’s dropping it in the slot you can see his left wrist now is starting to supinate get that face squired up he hasn’t lost his
Posture or his balance now and you can see here he’s brought it down like this from the inside and look at this at impact he’s got his hip back look you can see his head staying in the shot here he’s basically kept his posture angles nicely through the ball right and
Then you can see here coming through the ball the face is square there and then he’s going to release it this shot starts a little right and I was there it draw drew it right in the center and notice how all the way through the shot
Look he’s all the way to the other side on the follow through right now and look at this he’s still in the same posture through the shot and look at this the club releases on plane and another thing here good club face control what you know his Club face look it’s vertical
Here okay many of you are flipping it too much to the left on the follow through this means he was trying to deliver the club fa face down the line on the way through the ball and so let’s take a look as he finishes the swing
Here good extension off the back foot to his finish in nice balance to the back left heel this is why Adam Scott is such a consistent player it’s surprising he hasn’t W more on the tour
