The Riviera Country Club will once again play host to the PGA TOUR’s best as The Genesis Invitational tees off this week. The Genesis Invitational is the first of three player-hosted invitationals (along with the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard and Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament presented by Workday). Tiger Woods is the host this week but will also be in the field. This will be his first start since the Masters Tournament in 2023 – where he withdrew after the third round. Last season’s Genesis Invitational was his last full four-round effort on the PGA TOUR before injury. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after a strong finish in last week’s WM Phoenix Open. He claimed T3 in his attempt to become the first player to three-peat on the PGA TOUR since Steve Stricker in 2009-11. Scheffler finished 12th at The Genesis last season. Rory McIlroy is set to make just his second TOUR start in 2024 after a T66 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. This will be McIlroy’s eighth start at Riviera. He finished 29th last season and claimed a career-best of fourth at Riviera in 2019. Others to look out for are Viktor Hovland, Max Homa, Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele.

But couldn’t make the three here’s matuyama from off the green of two yeah there you go jaring it from off the [Applause] Green so you like this play yeah I with that lie that he’s got you can see the entire golf ball that’s so good that’s going in that’s so good how about that well that 71 percentage of up and down is going to get a little bit better

I think he knew the camera was on Al true no way I think Colin’s trying to work this one in from left to right I’m not sure what he was frustrated with that that’s a nice golf shot right there 23 greens but but he’s

Got a bunch of them up and down up at the green here at the first Sheamus pow third shot will that go in yes it will that the second eagle of the week remember he hold it from off the graen at the 10th yesterday second shot for Max hom here at the

Fifth that’s as good as you got right this whole location tough to get to swanie oh look at Max great shot man six footer everyone else kind of minus one even or plus [Applause] better how about those two are the same max out of the eight iron and into

The seven iron with a little cut that from 163 yds away Max loves it even more now come from behind hins third from the bunker at 10 Genesis Invitational or the Olympics the Roars carry through the canyon here was right over the bill of his cap oh

Yeah oh look at this boy hit the best shot of the day here yesterday and that may be the best one here today too on from the right side on a dogle left 139 yds left a drive of 317 off the te and he’s in close nice aggressive move through the

Ball how about that so holy cow that may be the shot of the day how in the world did he get spin on that ball I have no idea try get it inside 10 ft that’s a sand wedge from 116 gave it the full business to put a lot of spin on

It what a shot spin it did back to six trying to bounce back after the bogey previous hole was swinging it beautifully on the Range this one very well struck just a little right of the hole extra Club oh extra Club made all the difference for willly [Applause]

Z how about that come on so the first time he chilly dips it leaves it in the [Applause] rough wow could it be 63s in a row completely opposite look from yesterday when the hole was in the front right friendly B kley played quicker the first two rounds and played considerably better that

One’s going to work out nicely here’s matama on the floor at the 12th he going up and over a little Ridge right there now making its way down got a chance he’s five under for the day making six under oh what an unexpected birdie by matama at the 12

A lot of players packed at the Top Eric Cole two under today and this one will come back to the pin good chance to move it to eight under to finish birdie birdie now the two-time champion here from behind the green Thrills the crowd again just the Third third birdie of the

Day surrendered at the 18th playing as the toughest at Riv on a Sunday went in from the left eight time winner and Master’s Champion who’s traveled millions of miles around the globe finds himself just inches away from an eagle good lie though that makes a big difference perfect lie should be able to

Spin it right on line shly for Eagle at 11 makes it my goodness 30 minutes ago he was five behind and now just one back and just the taping over at 15 Jim one of the shots of the day if not the shots mat ayama into a tie for the lead

Again left side of the T So attempting to try and hit a draw oh it’s a beautiful looking shot beautiful looking shot he’s going to go in Jason nearly an Ace it’s cutting oh gets the bounce two hes in a row so close to a car as well at least not until today it’s good to 17 and another sweet swing just so simple isn’t it Adam hadwin third at 17 should spin back yes Adam hadman with a chance now he

Could get the 13 under Franken he did not know where the ball was for that lip of the bunker that was pitched up he does NA what a stretch terrific look here just that 10 iron pitching wedge in his hand there’s only been five birdies here so far

Today oh he’s going to have a chance with those remarkable shots into 15 and 16 here’s Poston playing with him for birdie for birdie if you’re going to die it it’s probably just outside the edge if you want to go firmer you got to start it on the edge oh

Yeah matama with a round of Riviera that will long be [Applause] remembered he’s your Champion Dei monama took a long look at it and now slaps it up the hill right over the mark and in the cut is that that smile you were looking for all day that was remark went right over

Xander’s coin well he’s going to be saluted here in just a second down on the 18th green I have to go back down the steps sure it’s a walk he doesn’t mind making because there’s still quite a gathering in circling the 18th waiting to pay homage toiyama thanks for watching the PJ Tour

  1. PGA no any musics annoying when I'm watching while the golfers are playing shots , I can hear the good clear natural sounds of playing shots from the golfers , that is nice to watching , PGA is more professional to understanding

  2. How can highlights produced by the PGA tour be this bad? We see the winner of the tournament go to ten under and the next time we see him he's at 14 under!!! And then we see him hit a great shot on 14 and the next highlight is Schaufele while Matsuyama's on 13!? Is it that hard to order the highlights chronologically!!!???

  3. Maybe the PGA can use some of that new money to finally hire a producer to edit these highlights. Always so so so bad

  4. Very poor coverage, bouncing all over the place. And you ignored the run home of the winner, Matsuyama.

  5. 常に目標を持って精進し続ける松山さん大好きです。ツアー優勝9勝おめでとうございます!!

  6. このそうそうたるメンバーで勝つって松山さん凄いです。
    あとザラトリスさんナイスカムバック!

  7. PGA is more professional to set everything about golf , I like to watching PAG golf more than other golf.

  8. The pga coverage is really just all about advertisements. The live coverage is nothing but commercials and the highlights they put on YouTube are atrocious. Such a low effort in trying to actually show golf to people that are only watching for the GOLF!

  9. 世界の松山秀樹ここにあり。※英語会話をもっと ※アメリの夜を遊んでくれ ※日本のテレビ局は協賛を ●テレビに出なさい。昼の馬鹿番組に!

  10. I love watching these highlights as I don’t have time to watch the full round but PLEASE please please stop putting the winner in the thumbnail, ruins the whole thing and takes all the excitement away.

  11. Seriously, whoever is making these highlight vids needs to be fired. None of them are in order, missed for birdies by the winner, garbage, and theyve been garbage for years.

  12. These highlights were compiled by someone with a brain no more developed than a 2 year old trying to play Jenga. FFS, you couldn't scatter the chronology of these shots anymore than they have.

  13. It proves week after week who ever is in the lead in the final round if his putting and chipping are not perfect they end up losing the tournament it happened last week at the phoenix open when Taylor came back from 4 shots behind he was putting his brains out hoffman lost the tournament it’s all in the short game practice your short game

  14. Hire someone with more then 4 braincells to edit these. Round highlights should have near Mil views each vid!

  15. Whoever is doing the editing on these needs to be sacked. The shots should all be progressional throughout the day. Every shot from this video jumps back and forth throughout the day. Its not hard..
