Jackson all from the 2018 class all in the divisional rounds so three out of the five quarterbacks 60% of quarterbacks drafted in 2018 in the first round had you in the divisional championships in um you know five years after they were drafted I mean you know for Jackson and um Allen it’s multiple

Times and for everybody’s like ah Josh Allen he’s not this he’s not that yeah okay listen I get it it’s disappointing I I was bummed I was bummed too but he just he did as much as Patrick Mahomes did except his kicker missed it and the Chiefs kicker made

Doubt I’ve been friends with Dustin Schaefer and Parker the snow dog and Rob and and the folks up at Loveland for for many many years I love Loveland and I’m a pretty good skier humble brag you know put it in front of me no I but I’ve been

Skiing my whole life so um and I’ve skied 90% of the mountains here in Colorado I mean there’s some that I just haven’t quite got to uh like never ski at ski Cooper um Silverton you know if I get myself in the right shape maybe I could hit

Silvert I sort of had written that off I was just out of shape and my uh knee surgery and I’m just like I don’t know but um maybe I could get Silverton if I I need to keep training for that one I’m not great in powder I’m okay I’m okay in

The bumps what I tend to do the best is just go fast but um I had a pair of um my uncle who was a ski racer he’s racing the Master Series all the way through his 70s I have a couple in fact they’re right outside the hallway they’re a

Couple of GS skis and they are I mean they are heavy and they are fast but I I gave up using them um just because they’re somewhat limiting if if I’m if I really had a great ski day I would get those skis in good shape and

I’m not getting rid of them because you kind of never know but I would take a couple of pair of skis with me and and if I had my ideal ski day I would find whatever Black Diamond groomers were on a hill I’d be on the first lift and I

Would do a couple of laps and I would go hard right off the gate because when it’s corduroy like that and it’s freshly groomed and really you want to go fast but you want to be able to dig in too um those those tend to be the best

Conditions it doesn’t have to be black do or po like um a copper if you go up the superb and that’s where they train I mean that’s where downhill Racers and GS uh Racers train like Andy’s Encore and Rosy’s run and that is one hell of a run

It’s a couple miles long they groom it on purpose um it’s it’s the top is pretty mellow but it gets to a dip in Rosy’s run and it is a it’s a face it’s a serious face and you can get some unbelievable speed another um one at Veil which is incredible when it’s

Groomed is Reva Ridge which is more on the front side and re I think groomed as good as Andy onore Rosy’s running copper which is excellent I haven’t seen a I mean I it’s right there but I think Reva Ridge groomed is the best groomed fast Trail

Uh in Colorado at least that I’ve experienced and um at Beaver Creek of course you can Beaver Creek is tricky because it’s it’s it’s it’s labeled as Double Black Diamond really isn’t I think they just label it just to keep people off and that’s um Birds of Prey and you could

Ski be Birds of Prey you know most of the time in that Gro they label it double black it’s not but it’s you know for what I and I don’t run it like a downhill that’d be I can’t do that but can just you know take it like a big GS

Course um and that’s pretty spectacular too all great runs Colorado but you wait you wait till you get till 10:30 and even these great runs um get chopped up a little bit or the the um snow effects it or the sun rather and not a big bumps guy I can do them it’s

Just like I’ll do them I’ll do I’ll get my bumps in I’ll get my back country I’ll get on I’ll you know but at at lovelin you can really literally do all of that you can it’s pretty adventurous it’s pretty wild um and the only problem with

Lovelin of course is if it’s not like something pretty outrageous and awesome which there’s a lot of there’s not a lot in between it gets to like more just sort of you know easy to to you know Blue Square sort of thing which could be fun

So I like to be fun and Adventure sort of early and then middle of the day sort of Adventure a little bit and then I just like to cruise around usually in the afternoons explore have fun most important thing is just to have fun so

Part of having fun for me is going fast and then you know I’m not tracking my I I got my guy Hayden he’s a nut I love Hayden Fischer you’re a great guy but he wants to you know track every single um all of his elevation how long he stays

Out there and it’s it’s it’s great it’s great for him I just I like yesh anyways I haven’t skied at all this year because we going through some trying to get through some stuff this year so all right let’s get on enough about the ski chat what’s your Rumble

And the Broncos but my heart’s always in the mountains okay so I’m just going through listen we got one one one more kid in college and he’s got a little bit of a chunk to go so big change my life which you know I I I really I wouldn’t have seen it this

Time last year now that being said I am thrilled where I’m at who I’m working with I probably wouldn’t have started any of this YouTube stuff or the kill you a truth stuff if it wasn’t for that um but there’s some there’s a mountain to climb so and I got some other stuff

Going on that I’ve just I haven’t talked about so we’re just chilling so this winter is the winter of chill and um I’m hoping that’s it there’s a few things we need to do to be smart and um I don’t know hopefully I get some

Skiing in I’m going to make a bigger I mean Loveland is incredible I can go to Loveland whenever I want they’re the best it’s just been uh tricky and it’s nothing to do with lovelin they’re amazing they’re my favorite place all right anyways enough enough enough uh let’s go thanks hey T-Bone uh

Allen is more like Elway Mahomes and burrow more like Manning and Brady each want to move more prominent schools just been hearing all the bige heads talk about Allen like he is the Manning side well here’s what’s going on with Josh Allen thank you T-Bone

Is I mean it’s I mean how many seasons is this we got 18 19 20 21 22 23 so six seasons hey I’m frustrated but how long did it take Manning to win how long did it take Elway to win I mean what’s this career going to

Be about how long we going to go here so six seasons what is he 28 something like that it’s young man dude’s in great shape has no significant injuries that I’m aware of of it’s frustrating though for sure and Mahomes has won twice he’s got two Super

Bowls he’s got multiple MVPs he’s then Lamar is going to win his second MVP and oh I mean I just hope the Ravens just [ __ ] destroy the Chiefs that’s what I hope I can’t root for the chiefs no way uh RJ I would have been a great

Golfer at 20 years old if I had 30 years of practice that’s right live Rim shots H my mom wants to check in all right Mom uh Darren too bad about the bills losing yeah you know my parents are Patriots fans so um I take everything from them with a grain of

Salt is I’ve told them a million times nobody feels bad for Patriots fans Alabama not known for their smarts oh my God Mike Greenbow Alabama uh you still think Josh Allen would have done better in Denver I don’t know if he would have done better but he

Would have been great and the Broncos would be in the playoffs at the worst at the absolute worst the Broncos would be doing the same as the bills at worst so we asked a question and maybe we didn’t put it the right way but the question was on the um rido

Show would you rather win a Super Bowl and then lose for the next nine years eight years but whatever because the Broncos haven’t been to the playoffs since 2015 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 eight straight playoff misses or you go to the playoffs year after

Year but you don’t win a Super Bowl now that sort of looking at things in a big perspective had we asked and it was overwhelmingly win the Super Bowl okay if I asked the question a different way same thing let me pose it to you would you rather be a Broncos fan right

Now or a Bill’s fan now as a Broncos fan you’ve got the Super Bowls in your back pocket that has happened and as a Bills fan you don’t but today which you’re at today meaning we’re looking forward to next year and in the future so that you know maybe we’ll do that

Tomorrow but would you rather be a Bills fan or a Broncos fan so you got the Super Bowls in your back pocket but they are in your back pocket and in general sports fans in general look forward to what’s next in general like you go to

The bar you you don’t talk to your buddies and you’re like oh man God damn five years ago or nine years ago was awesome remember nine years ago I mean you might do that about your high school career but in general sports fans talk about their team and the

Dude I saw a bunch of Lamar Jackson in college at Louisville and I saw what he did my Syracuse Orange you want to talk about an ass beating oh my God what he did not that you need to do this but I witness it firsthand when my jaw

Dropped I just I had just never seen anything like it never seen anything like it and I was just like well this works this is this works why did he drop um well did he play to Big School Louisville I mean you know theyy you know it’s all right

Um I I don’t know I I really can’t answer that question you know because I said repeatedly if the Broncos were at five and quarterbacks one two three and four win I would take five I I did like Josh Allen better than Lamar Jackson but like you know I like Lamar Jackson

Too and you know I was probably influenced by Josh Allen because I went to his pro day and I I just I never saw Lamar Jackson throw in person but I did with Josh Allen a couple times so that’s down at the Senior Bowl too and Lamar did not participate in the Senior

Bowl so and Baker Mayfield was good at the Senior Bowl too so I saw I saw like a lot of Josh Allen just playing for Wyoming over a couple year period my guy C Sal Lamy I’ll Cil turned me on to Josh Allen I had heard nothing about him

[ __ ] point of the quarterback competition between Teddy Bridgewater and Drew luck what was the point why were you about to win the Super Bowl did you have a drafted quarterback that you needed to give that was so dumb you know what’s incredible is somebody like Vic fangio ever got that job in the

First place he and it’s amazing because he had been in the NFL for 30 plus years but he was so unqualified to be the head coach because he had no firm philosophy of what it took to develop a team I think you just I think these guys get my

Opic they’re either in their position group or he’s a defensive coordinator and he was so for 30 plus years so you know in his 30 years he was only on the sideline one year that’s it so this is a guy who coaches from the box and you

Know he came up with some sort of stup what what was that dumb catchphrase he had about million pieces or something I don’t know who knows and lway lway as a GM was brutal I mean not only did JN not have a philosophy about football development he couldn’t identify other

People that did have a philosophy VJ bad hire at the time not a bad guy bad hire Vic bad hire George pyton bad hire nobody had a progressive way of how to develop a team because none of these guys believed in quarterback first which of course is bizarrely ironic about Elway and even

Drew lock like Elway wanted to to draft him in the first round was talked out of it and then it was like well okay we’ll let you take him in the second round I mean ridiculous draft him in the first round I wish they had because had they taken

Drew lock in the first round at least they would have been committed to him then they would have done the right thing by centering everything around him and if it doesn’t work it doesn’t work so the right instincts terrible execution and no commitment whatsoever then you hire [ __ ] Vic fangio Jesus

Areas but if you get over ah you know I don’t know all the chair names you know so I might just say this way that way whatever but first of all skiing up on the ridge is adventurous and you gotta you gotta hey that is no joke so any

Line you take off of the ridge you go left or right off that lift you get to the ridge that’s no joke okay period nothing easy off there unless you seriously I think you can you get way down on the ridge I think you can kind

Of cruise a little bit but you got to have your you got to be on your p’s and q’s and then as you’re looking at Lovel you go on off to the right on the other side of I70 there’s so much cool stuff over there really adventurous stuff and they

Do have the snow cat and the snow cat will take you to other places up on the ridge that are not impossible to get to if you hike I mean you can just if you keep hiking you can get anywhere right but like it saves you some significant

Time great experience and then you get into some just you know this is like Warren Miller sort of territory so yeah I love Loveland love it absolutely love it uh you and palumbus GNA do the bike thing again I hope so uh pedal with palumbus was an amazing event

Raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for ovarian cancer um it’s in tribute to Tyler’s mom who sadly passed away of ovarian cancer and it was my honor to be part of it well the first year was in covid so I was kind of a fat slug that

First year but I did ride my bike and Tyler was just doing circles around um in power field and I joined him for a couple of uh Loops but like you know nobody was allowed to ride with them Co times all those rules and the next year

Was a great ride basically out to um Chatfield Reservoir and back from the Broncos complex really cool ride and I was in in great shape that year I mean I was in some of the really high quality shape and I just basically blew everybody away the next year was out

East and it was good um but it was It’s A Hard Ride lot of Rolling Hills tough um around 50 or so Miles I think that was hard and I wasn’t as good of shape and Tyler was in great shape and he blew me away that third year and then

Of course we just did dumb things and we broke up our show and did all sorts of silly things that we should never have done and you know we’re bouncing back both of us the best that we can uh but part of the the the shame of such a

Large mistake that was made and it was a large mistake that was made um was the event went away I mean the ripple effect of making bad decisions is crazy so that was one of them which is a shame um but I know how much energy Tyler put

Into that event it’s unreal he deserves so much praise uh I I just was helped to helped support it like hey okay and I’ll participate in it and I thought it was terrific but Tyler did the whole thing and and deserves all of the credit uh abas is pretty underrated too

Uh I’ve I’ve been to abas a ton of times too um I’m not as familiar with aasin as lovelin I’ve skied the backside of abas um abas is just a little bit more narrow everything is a little bit more front-facing I’ll take your word for it so I’m not

Trying to dog on it by any stretch but there’s only two lifts there at the base not that that levelin has a lot of lifts they only have two as well I suppose but um it’s just not as spread out Loveland is vast and a Bas is just a little bit
