Xander great playing today consistency has been key shooting two rounds of 66 uh not a single drop shot on the scorecard though what can you accredit that to I think I’ve just been playing smart I’ve really hit the ball well and control the ball well sort of not being
Overly aggressive but yet taking on shots that need to be taken on um and when I do head away with one my short game has saved me in a couple of instances today two really good up and downs that kind of kept the momentum going to to put a nice score out there
We just touched upon it moments ago off camera but just looking at your season last year it really feels as though you’ve been trending in the right direction in that second half and you know you’ve had a great start to this season why do you think that is I just
Think it’s consistency um my whole routine and everything I do is the same every week and it relates to the golf course it’s it’s just super consistent I’m not doing anything phenomenal but I’m not doing anything terribly so I write it down to just super consistency
And and just enjoying the game at the moment still hunting for that first DP World Tour when from the outside it always looks like you’re very cool calm and collected obviously an opportunity to go into the weekend with lots of golf to be played how does it feel on the
Inside it feels good like you said I’ve had lots of opportunities and I feel like I’m I’m getting closer every time I’m definitely controlling myself better over the weekends and on final days and knocking on the door and just got to keep knocking and hopefully it’ll open
