  1. Why don’t they ask Coco how she felt playing someone who was given “protection for her complexion,” someone who is privileged enough to take medical breaks when no one else does, someone entitled enough to have an ongoing dispute with her coach/box during games. “Yuckie” is just a spoiled brat.

  2. Can’t help but cheer for Coco as though she’s the nations little sister. So proud of her! She’s come so far and is dominating the field!!!!

  3. This was Coco's first real competition but she should have won easy. Wasn't her best game. She better bring her best game possible against Sabalenko. I think nerves will get her once Sabalenka starts to take control of the match.

  4. If Kostyuk wants to win a Grand Slam, she’s gotta work on that mentality, because it SUCKS. Watched the whole match live and she did nothing but complain, whine, and yell. Coco’s mentality was so much better. She kept her cool and stayed focused, and it delivered a victory. Kostyuk played great and had nice sportsmanship, I’ll give her that

  5. Not apparent from the highlights, but the first two sets felt like a competition to see who would play worse at important moments. The quality was poor and more points were lost than won. Coco's forehand is very fragile under pressure. She also needs to up her mental game. Good thing she had a basket case on the other side today. Coco's opponents would have looked at this performance with great interest.

  6. I honestly feel bad for martha..And no. It is not because I like her because she is pretty. Or etc etc etc. It was a tremendous run that deserved more. But honestly – what is going on with hitting the net so much at this level? Her swing is late? She is tired? Too bad. Sad. But if there was anyone that she was going to lose to is Coco because she has already won a very tough us open. So I am so so so sorry. I was honestly hoping for Martha to win.

  7. WTF was this match lol. I don't think I've ever seen this many unforced errors in a slam, let alone this deep into a slam on centre court.

  8. I think Marta played better in this game and Coco did well but thank God for mental strength and Favour shining on Coco. Well done Ladies 😊🥰❤

  9. Interesting to see all the "Coco has improved" posts. Her tennis has clearly taken a step backwards since the US Open.

  10. Boy do I hate that swinging topspin volley at 5:05+ .. instead of a sharp sliced one with an angle – lost her the point. On the positive side : lots of excellent exchanges – looks like it could have gone the other way. terrific match ladies !

  11. 5 – 1 in first set.
Ukraine is having a lot of good players now, their leader is Svitolina.
    Coco is going for gold!

  12. The way she pulls away in a lot of 3rd sets reminds me a lot of the Williams sisters in their career. Over time, it wasn't just that they were great, but that they consistently played at such a high level that even if they lost a set, or played two close sets, they'd run away in the third because their opponents couldn't keep the level up. Great win again from CoCo.

  13. Congratulations Coco, Stay the course and continue to be great. I am enjoying watching you play this game
    Go all the Way,,,,,,,

  14. Could be a cat and mouse game against Sabalenka. Her backhand can give Sabalenka problems that she doesn't normally face. But Coco's arm movement on her forehand gives away the inconsistency of it… 🤷‍♂
