Straight into my Bag?? Clash Peach vs Dynamic Discs Bounty | Beginner Disc Golf

The straight shot is incredibly difficult to throw in disc golf. Add on a shot that goes the opposite direction of a standard backhand…and we’re talking mid to intermediate level difficulty. What if I told you there was a beauty in throwing a slightly understable midrange that can help you accomplish both of these shots with ease?? In today’s video we’re discussing the Dynamic Discs Bounty as well as the Clash Discs Peach! So how do these fly in comparison? Which one would I recommend as best for beginners?? You’ll have to watch to find out!!

What is up YouTube fam Robie C here today we are out at George Ward Park with another best for beginners Challenge and today we’re talking Force feeds and we’re not going the overstable ones not yet if you guys are interested we’ll definitely run to one of those

Here in a second but today we’re talking understable mid-ranges four speeds let’s dive in but before we do how you doing today Cory are you having a good One so what we’ve got going for us today is we have the Dynamic Discs Bounty compared to the Clash discs Peach now what’s fun about this and a common factor that maybe you haven’t connected is that Bobby cool daddy slick breze Uncle Bobby Jr I believe is his

Instagram handle actually at one time was working for Dynamic Discs and has since moved to clash disc and he’s a US retailer for clash disc fantastic options but these two fantastic Flyers the Bounty as you might have seen in the thumbnail I think is one of the most

Underrated molds inside side of the dynamic disc lineup so really really pumped to be able to give this one a throw also this bounty right here is home to my proudest Ace that I’ve ever had uh Magnolia links disc offl course the long basket on hole 14 love these

Discs now a couple quick facts for you the Dynamic Discs Bounty was actually approved by the PDGA December 5th 2019 so it came out before the co boom and then the peach got approved Bank September 26th 2022 so almost three years later to the month

The peach came out and I love both of these discs I think Clash plastic feels absolutely incredible so we have two peaches we have two bounties to try to demonstrate we’re trying to learn in this best for beginner now we’re a little pinch for daylight but what’s

Nice is it’s not windy and if you follow the channel you know that’s a big deal now in the best for beginner series we are pitting two molds against one another and these are both usually molds that I would think are actually good for beginners obviously we need to put put

Like some cap on the finances so we’re not just going out and buying every single disc possible so the goal of this is to find discs that I would recommend that I think are quote best for beginners moving through the speeds and then obviously repeating speeds when necessary because there are some that

Just have a lot of options so we’re going to play a couple different holes and see which one wins out and really the nice thing about this is it’s pretty subjective so as the one sitting here throwing it I can tell you if I’m getting good releases bad releases and

Whether I think that’s the dis fault or my fault or most likely my fault stepping up to our first hole we’re going to test T it on a Hiser where’re the idea is going to be testing on Heiser and Hiser flat shot and then kind

Of like a big bomber or really trying to test the limits of it uphill things like that so this one coming in 293 ft it’s a silver basket just across the water so ideally for this hole we’re going to throw a Hiser out over just straight into that big gap between the trees

Right there and then hopefully Let It Fade back down the under stability of these I’m going to be curious how much these flip up and ride versus let’s say just he ring the whole time okay and that’s swimming in the lake so that’s not good okay we can give it a little

More okay I really like how easily these flip up that’s a really nice feature okay and that was me giving it too much I liked how fast that came out not a great tail let’s see if we can make a little correction on this bounty nope I just threw right at that

Man okay not great throws on either of the bounties I think that I overcorrected on the one toss what was nice about the peaches was I threw them and they flipped up so easily as opposed to those bounties so I may have to when we’re walk to the next hole just RI the

Bounties on some plat shots so you guys can see theer see if we can’t put the pressure on the Bounty being down there yeah when real question is s guy can you see my head from down here I can fully see the basket it’s just re uphill and from

Here you can tell the basket’s broken and leaning oh that wasn’t bad so it’s hard not to give the advantage to the peach based on the fact that we threw the peach well twice and we didn’t throw the PE or threw the peach well once and a

One and a half times and we made the putt here’s what they look like on a little bit of Heiser let’s throw these first we got to keep them right of that tree okay I’m just not committing to the shot that’s so fascinating okay it’s a release link it’s coming out super

Early there you go okay I’m not GNA lie to you guys Peach is kind of nasty all right so next up we want to test anheiser the thing about the putters versus sort of other discs is we’re getting different shot shape options so we’re going to test anheiser

We’re going to go with the Bounty first we’re going to that yellow basket over there it is 264 ft away but it’s uphill pretty much the whole way okay I like that that’s a newer Bounty so not as beat in not as season Lucid plastic which is nice cuz that’s

Going to give us a good Ta on sort of what we’re dealing with so okay we got on that one a little more thankfully that tree hit or else we would have been in trouble let’s look at the peach and what it does you could see the Bounty wanted wanted to lean into

That understable flight but it wasn’t like burning over I expect the peach to have a little more burn over we’re going with the new one first yeah that’s nice you can tell kind of lean into it threw it nose up a little bit so that’s fine we’re going

The orange this is the used one okay we released that one significantly worse but the nice thing is that’s why we bring too coming in you can see right next to each other the Bounty does Edge it out just a little bit but I think pretty comparable

Flights I’ve got two wizards with me next week we’re going to be diving into Wizards and all their Plastics the first one putting from the peaches is going to be a glow wizard liked it out of my hand and then a little closer we’ve got the Pure White

Wizard okay we’ll call it nice and square on here if I had to give an an advantage to the under stable flight or the turnover flight I think it’s definitely going to go to the peach at least the bound got a little Redemption here now this basket is actually not a

Pin location it’s a new one they dug it in alternating back to the peach yeah I would say it’s about 300 ft to this basket but it plays downhill so because of that normally when I throw a putter here I feel like I’ve got a yam on the

Putter but I can’t really commit on the mid-range either so it’s like a weird hybrid we’re okay being past the basket here we’re gonna go use Peach first commit to the shot let’s see what we got okay it’s going to skip into the creek nope it stayed up it’s

Dry nope that’s going to get stuck in a tree nope it came out okay don’t be afraid Dennis and I was afraid again okay what this did show us there is that the Bounty is more stable we’re trying to put out some content here people that was better but the Bounty is significantly

More stable I mean these peaches are flipping up and the white Bounty because it’s beat in is flipping up and riding straight but it’s still has a little more finish to it both in bounds we saw how much that the Bounty hezard and the peach flipped up and then kind of glided down

Here it’s like all arm trying to get this thing here cuz I’m on the side of the cliff nope worse no blood drawn on the stay shot cuz really neither of them were good but I think we’re we’re dialing in what most likely is a runaway result

And I’ve got a couple reasons for it but we’re going to play one more hole try to see if we can’t get multiple good throws here rather than just one all right last hole 281 ft we’re going to the Yellow Basket up there going down this Cliff

Side out of bounds time for the bounties to go first again and we didn’t commit this is one of those videos where I’m like am I going to put this out because I am throwing like absolute dog dooo today that’s better that’s better but it’s still going to

Fade out that’s fascinating dude okay bounties more stable than I remember workable but more stable than I remember whereas that peach it’s kind of money nope still trash I didn’t want to hike down that hill but alas when you play Bad you end up in bad places all

Right so final thought coming through we’ve got the bounties and some of you going to look at the thumbnail and be like Mr YouTube man obviously click baited us into this and no I don’t think that’s necessarily true when I say that this is what I think is one of the most

Slept on mid-ranges out there I do think that’s the case and here’s the argument as you saw it has some decent stability to it especially when you’re not throwing it extremely well I mean if you just look at the higher shot if you look at the uphill shot that I threw even the

Straight shot all of them fading out because I wasn’t committing to the hit point and sending it when not thrown with a ton of Spin and power something that should be somewhat neutral to underst stable which is what the Bounty would argue itself as minus one and a

Half turn 0.5 fade that 0.5 fade really shows up especially when you throw it nose up if Sai runs the cliff again of me throwing the turnover with the blue one you can see that once you hit it if you hit it with some power and hit it

With some Pizzazz it’s going to have that that turn to it kind of naturally and that was coming from my natural start of a bit of Heiser coming all the way up over and then it still faded out but it had understable flight if you are more of a natural anheiser release

Person like you throw flat to Annie this is going to have some beautiful needed stability that can make it a really great option but I I have to look at the results of the video and say that I think the peach absolutely gets that Robbie C best for beginner stamp of

Approval coming down and here’s why on the throws that I didn’t throw it that well because I also had bad throws with the peach as well it still got easy distance it still stood up and flew straight so I like that heer flip capability now if you’re that person

With the bounties who is throwing on Z anheiser this is going to have inherent underst stability so it may not be the best for you for you to look at but if you’re more of a flat player to a little bit of Hiser I think the peach is a

Really really great alternative and I think a lot of people aren’t throwing the peach very much so I think that that’s going to win out for it what do you guys think let me know in the comments we love to hear what your opinions are and if you bag the Bounty

Versus the peach things like that really the world does not want the audio to be good for this video part of why I’m working on my form isn’t just see success for Robbie Crawford but also in the showcases and things like that to give you a better insight into how they

Throw but like I mentioned and the cuts things good Insight because really we have to lean into as someone who has 350 plus of power if I’m not hitting the disc well that’s going to relate a lot more to a beginner or intermediate audience and because of that you’re

Going to be able to see how the disc would fly most likely for you in those arm situations so I appreciate leaning into the positivities of that let me know if you guys think once again this is what we did for four speeds so do we

Want to move up to five speeds and mid-ranges or I put out a post on Instagram talking about comparing the Z Zone which is probably one of the more famous four speeds out there and how does the Zone Stack Up compared to another overstable approach disc you

Guys let me know what you want to see I think the current winners or current Front Runners were between the tempo and the Toro so if you guys even want to see a little three-way battle between those three discs let me know would love to

Show you so hope you have a great rest of your to day please make a fantastic for someone else too but for now we’re going to leave you with the bird I

  1. I just started bagging a Sunny Peach in my Comet slot. It has a much wider rim than most 4/5/-2/1 discs, Comet included, which I love. Robbie – props for posting this despite the frustration. I bet if someone handed you one of the discs and told you it was a straight mid, you would have laced more shots. 4 speed with -2 turn can play head games.

  2. Narrowing down mid ranges has always been an issue for me. Mids are the discs i throw the most. The stratus has and always will be my understable option, like really understable. Even though i know people love to hate it. Then i have a Roc, an M4, The Zone if youd call that a mid ( i do), the Archive, Wasp and the Buzzz. Last year i even had the mako3 in there but that was the first one i took out. Problem is i love all of these discs. I think the wasp is on the thinnest ice because its Similar to the archive and i really like the archive. My goal is to get it down to 4 mids.

  3. Bro, great vid as usual. I very much appreciate you posting content when you are having a rough day. We all have rough days and you working/grinding through helps me mentally when my trash day shows up which is sooo much worse than yours.

  4. This video feels whisper quiet. I cant turn my speakers up enough to even match the volume of every other video i normally watch.

  5. I love the peach and it’s a disc I’ve been throwing for a bit but for some reason that disc gets stuck in trees so much more than any other disc I’ve thrown.

  6. Hole one is a gross violation of the spirit of the game. There is a guy right in front of you and you still throw the discs 😢

  7. Additional video idea would be a plastics comparison series discussing hand feel and flight differences. For example, Zone in all available plastics, Toro in all available plastics, Envy in all available plastics, etc. With no local disc stores that sell anything other than innova and the rare trilogy, I get hung up at online checkout when trying to decide on a plastic.

  8. Clash Discs premium plastic is the best in the game. It looks and feels like Innova Star but the grip is as good as Gstar without Gstar softness. Perfect.

I wish that Clash Discs basic plastic would be better.

  9. Great video! As a trilogy alternative to the peach (if you don’t want to spend top $) then I can’t recommend the Westside Tursas enough. And the fact that it comes in tournament, vip, moonshine, and air plastics, there is a Tursas for everyone

  10. Loved Cooldaddyslickbreeze, when he was working for Dynamic. Disc Golf Answer Man, was amazing. Started watching that, when I first got into disc golf.

  11. Hey Robbie! Since you like the Peach you should battle it against the Discraft Comet! I’m a flat to hyzer thrower!

  12. My 4 speed of choice is the Sol. I have a very slow arm so the Sol isn't too understandable for me. I also saw someone mention the Tursas (even though it's a 5 speed), and I love that disc too.

  13. I do bag a Peach. But I find I rarely actually pull it out of the bag. I generally prefer either my PA-5 or my Uplink. I am excited to try the Detour though.

Side note, I do see a lot of comments for the Comet. It too is a great disc but its definitely one of those discs that you'll either love or hate as soon as you pick it up. I tried bagging one for a while but I just always hated the handfeel and could never dial in its release.

  14. Gotta give the tsa mana a chance brother! I feel like it’s a disc that would suit your game so well. Workably understable, a bit faster, smaller diameter, goes far, has dope art… super under-known disc. I mean it is on the newer side.. but dang no one even knows about it

  15. Love this video! Great to see some of these alternatives, but really nice to see you post shots where you weren’t having best time of it. Nothing worse than when us amateurs go out, have a terrible day and then go watch YT vids of just perfect shot after perfect shot. It helps our confidence to see that even the pros can have an off day

  16. Would like to see you compare the zone vs the Jarn. I am currently bagging a Zone as my go-to approach disc. And I'm interested in picking up a Jarn. However, flight numbers are very similar. Would like to know if the extra point 5 would give me a little more distance. And also your opinion on if both discs are different enough to be bagged together. Or if they basically take up the same slot. Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.

  17. Clash makes some what I think are fantastic discs.

But no one I know including myself throws em… When you live somewhere where every course has a water feature, throwing a $23-28 disc suddenly add to the pressure lol.

  18. Doing good, these highs of 0 in Wisconsin with 1foot of snow on ground are just brutal for golf. I'm putting my brains out inside lol.
I'm living through you right now.
