The out of the chat right uh day one PJ never want to look at that but I saw some pretty good ownership on some of the guys that we were on over here at Chipen Nation so hopefully that uh rounds out last week’s great PGA into another week here we continue to smash
So how are you doing man happy Thursday yeah hell of a start to the PGA season some big wins obviously uh last week in the streets uh uh live final seat we had a $100,000 win uh big big success week one obviously hoping to follow it up
Here uh week two uh in the in the PGA streets uh you know we’ve had some big NBA wins I know you had your NHL win the other night so things are uh things are looking up and looking to build on that momentum yeah looking to build on that
Momentum NHL gets uh slept on but we got the regulars over here obviously NHL is not a massive sport outside of maybe NBA All-Star break right when all eyes are kind of on NHL but contests have been good this season DraftKings has done a good job at improving the prize pools

Does the Slate plan over here at NBA um for shipet nation and he’s been amazing obviously he’s on these shows Tuesday and Wednesday so we got you covered in all angles but let’s jump in hoop uh we got an interesting SL late here tonight first game to kick us off is the highest
Total obviously of the top two seeds in the East right Boston Milwaukee here um Milwaukee at home and 242 and a half is the total and not a lot of ownership really going to this game at all obviously we got the later game right with Dallas where you
Run any Optimizer right now Dallas is going to be slamming in projections obviously when you take a guy like Luca off the court for that team um things are going to definitely go to obviously that’s a lot of usage price takes haven’t reflected so obviously all the
Chalk is going to Dallas right now four or five of these guys are getting slammed in just about any Optimizer your run I think it’s pretty interesting this first game we’re going to talk about here hoop is highest total on the Slate it’s a close spread right the two best
Teams in the East Grant obviously Boston’s very good defensively but on the other end Milwaukee’s not very good defensively Milwaukee’s been playing at a high Pace you have interest in this first game right massive total not a lot of ownership going to this game talk to
Me Giannis you got Giannis you got Dame you got Tatum um who’s been smashing you got Drew holiday and the Revenge Factor there both teams pretty much fully health healthy outside of uh Al Horford um from the Boston side but I think this is a pretty interesting game to kick us
Off yeah I think the most important part is what you kind of said there at the end where man both these teams are pretty healthy and uh a lot of the price tags are up there which makes it you know pretty difficult to get exposure to
This game but like you said it’s a 245 total huge total should remain close Milwaukee’s only favored by two so you know how do we get uh exposure here and that’s the difficult question Giannis is sitting at 12K do we have the value to to play Giannis Dame is 8,500 seems like
A pretty fair price tag for him that are showing as the top two values uh in our projections uh Jason Tatum at 102 very difficult so I’m going to do kind of what we did last week on here and just let’s run 10 teams and see how much of
This game we get get cuz I have a feeling that we’re just not going to get much of this game pull it up we got our 10 um 10 teams zero let’s see Zero guys from this game and that means ownership in this game is going to be low like you
Said a lot of people are going to be going to Dallas rightfully so makes a ton of sense no Luca have some uh Lakers guys creeping in there uh so if people just come in and and kind of just run their teams this game is going to go low
On but on the other hand it is difficult to get to it though I mean it it really is because again Giannis is 12K Tatum is 102 even some of these other pieces Derek white 77 Jaylen Brown 86 porzingis 84 there’s just no reasonably priced viable guys in this game Chris Middleton
78 you’re paying a premium basically every step of the way so it is difficult to get exposure to this game um it is what this game is 7:30 Eastern start time first game on the Slate um man I just I I guess for me the the easiest way to get exposure would would
Be through Dame at at 85 but it’s going to be tough to play the pieces in this game and they are going to be low and so if you can find a way to do it I think you’re going to get some low on plays but I will admit it is pretty difficult
And again if people are just running projections or just running teams off of projections they’re not going to get much of this game so it should come in low owned if you can find a way to get there that’s my main take with yeah that’s that’s kind of what I’m liking
Right four game slate um you can leverage play and I get it right the price points are up but it is a high total granted people are going to look at the first matchup right um where Boston won I believe 119 116 was the score Giannis was held in check um for
48.75 I believe was the call um last time he faced these guys but that was his worst shooting performance of the entire year and he still almost eclipsed 50 fantasy points um he is 12K but when we talk about Dallas you have a ton of value on Dallas right Jaden Hardy Josh
Green Dwight Powell Tim Hardaway the list goes on and on for the Dallas value that you can make a Giannis work here and and just think right um this game should stay competitive both these teams want to win right because it’s pivotal G to be coming down the stretch right um
Head-to-head matchups and seating wise I think it’s an interesting game from a low ownership contrarian gpp standpoint if you go in there you run projections you’re not going to get a lot of this game and that’s one way that that I look at it right being a little bit different
So I don’t mind a Giannis Tatum I don’t mind a Tatum 102 um I think that’s I mean $1,800 cheaper than Giannis uh with how Tatum’s playing right now is great I mean 60 55 68 are the last three games now gets a little bit tougher match up
Here against the interior defense right at Brook Lopez and Giannis inside but it’s still Jason Tatum um Dame Lillard 85 I don’t love the match up for Dame to be honest he’s going to get a combo of probably Derek white and Drew holiday right two good Defenders over overall on
On Dame so it’s pretty much Giannis in this game I I think I like I don’t mind Giannis and then porzingis got the day off yesterday um now he’s going to play here tonight I think he’s fine in gpps but overall this game’s going to be low
Owned they’re not going to project very well overall but it’s just a four game slate you got to find maybe one of these studs right to differentiate yourself so I don’t hate it from that standpoint let’s jump into this next game here Portland and OKC um this game starts 30 minutes after
That first game locks um in terms of total 236 is the total in this one 13-point spread here massive spread um from an injury standpoint I don’t see too much on on this one Jabari Walker is questionable that’s what I’m seeing right now you got SGA you got Chad hungr
Who both continue to smash here Anthony Simons on the other side what do you see in this one Portland OKC yeah so another uh big big total in this game 237 but obviously most of it on the OKC side is they’re favored by by 12 a half if you look at our projections
Over here at shipet Nation uh you see not a ton of guys popping as positive value SGA 104 yeah sure you can definitely get there you look at his recent game logs I mean he’s probably a locked to get you at least 50 is that enough on this slate yeah definitely
Could be four game slate um hram uh at 7,900 I think he’s a fine option uh definitely guy that that I want some exposure to and then uh Simons at 74 somewhat interesting but it’s been kind of all over the map recently for him 21 62 17 25 42 fantasy points the floors
Low ceilings High risky type play Josh giddy 6,400 um you know I I think I’d be fine get some exposure to him the one problem is the minutes here he’s just not playing uh a ton of minutes um obviously there’s some blowout risk the rest of
The games on the Slate pretty close um you know the it’s two-point spread in Milwaukee uh fourpoint in Dallas one in La OKC 12 and a half Point favor so they’re huge huge favorites in this game somewhat you know that likely that we see a blowout so I’d be a little
Cautious with the Portland stuff um the OKC guys I think are fine options I just want to kind of R reference the the 10 teams that I ran before and you look at it there’s there’s only one guy showing up here on one team it’s SGA let’s kind
Of extend this out let’s do 20 teams see if we start to get anything else from this game or the previous game in there um right it’s running now maybe usually it’s a lot quicker all right here we go got 10 in out of the 20
15 and come on come on come on only wants to give us 15 all right there’s our 20 so now let’s see if we get anything else coming from this game or the previous previous game previous game Lillard shown up in just five so on one
Team that’s it in this game hram five SGA five um sharp five so I mean again another game where someone comes in and just runs teams based on projections not going to be a lot of ownership in this game SGA showing up around 20% everyone else essentially at 10 or below so it’s
Another game that should be low own if somehow Portland does keep this competitive there are guys on both sides that can get the job done but again it’s looking like another game where we’re not going to see a ton of ownership yeah no that’s the reason I
Like these first two games um granted this game on a large slate you likely cross off right double digit spread here but it’s only a four game slate I absolutely love Chad hram in the spot I think he’s one of the best CER plays on
The entire slate 79 for him um I mean he’s been smashing 49 and a half last game against Washington here I mean I think you could see a 50 spot here for for Chad I love the matchup I love the spot for him I really like that 79 is is
An allright price point I’m seeing five to 10 per ownership probably five to eight% ownership somewhere in that ballpark um SGA projecting to be pretty high owned um he’s been very good here um gets a obviously a good match up here against Portland blowout concern is a is
A concern right with him being um the most expensive guard on the Slate and you have to put him up against guys like Jason Tatum right in that first game I don’t mind if you’re approaching either one of these first two games to grab a couple pieces right and hope the game
Stays close um and approach it differently um especially that Boston Milwaukee game if you’re playing it grab a couple pieces and play play like the game playing to the spread right it plays over the total it’s a close game maybe you get overtime right and that’s where those projections just can’t
Project for overtime games or things like that so grabbing a couple pieces from these these two game these first two games I think is interesting because most teams are going to be backloaded with that New York Knicks Dallas game and then the Lakers Phoenix game it’s just how projections are going just how
The Slate shapes up so I don’t mind that one guy to uh pay attention to is shayon sharp he could possibly get a spot start here um and potentially take scoot Henderson’s starting spot in the lineup um obviously scoot’s projected a start right now but just pay attention to that
Think if Shannon sharp does draw the start here um I think at 5,400 he becomes a nice value play there he’s going to Chuck the basketball so I don’t hate that SGA fine spend up but pretty much my two favorite plays in this game um is definitely Chad hungr by far and
Then I don’t mind shanen sharp um especially if he he gets a start in this one and then the Jabari Walker news is actually bigger than it seems um if he misses you got to have interest in duop Rath here at 5700 likely going to handle
All the center work for the most part um and he’d be a fine option in in an okay matchup here um against OKC so think there’s some interesting plays here definitely the game that has the biggest blowout risk on the on the entire slate but there’s only four spots to go to and
I definitely have some interest um in this one yeah should be low owned again that’s the main thing these first two games I ran these teams here and man just nothing is is popping with substantial ownership right exactly that’s I mean that’s just game that’s just standard
DFS Game Theory right um it’s a four game slate it’d be different if there was a 13 game slate right or a 12 game slate where you could cross both these games out right um there’s only four to choose from and you know where everyone’s teames are going it’s focused
On these last two games that we’re about to talk about so um do think these first two games are definitely important especially for tournaments tonight um and that’s going to be kind of the stance that I’m taking get some exposure to these first two games and just differentiate my builds and take a
Chance um is kind of how I’m going to approach it but let’s talk about the game that everybody wants to talk about here from an ownership standpoint this entire Dallas team is going to be very very owned I mean Seth Curry Josh Green Derrick Jones Dwight Powell Kyrie
Hardaway Jayden Hardy all these guys going to get a ton of ownership obviously Kyrie at 9k flat becomes an amazing play right with no Luca Kyrie already was looking like oldtime Kyrie sake with Luca on the court now you take Luca away Kyrie’s gonna get his 30 probably upper 30s minutes low for
Basically 38 to 40 minutes probably here if this game stays competitive Kyrie 99k obviously great play but talk about this one ho obviously the most important game on the Slate in terms of where everyone’s going is uh this is where they’re grabbing their value and and the
Studs Julius Randle going to be chalky Kyrie Irving gonna be gonna be owned Jaylen Brunson gonna get some ownership so obviously a very very good game to Target for DFS yeah I mean this is one where there’s going to be obviously the most ownership you know no no luuka
Obviously the price tags in this one are just super super low I mean even on the new on the Nick side it’s like Randall at 88 Brunson at 87 I mean they’re not in that 10 K range where some of the guys from the previous game were so you
Already know everyone’s coming here for Dallas stuff and that just means people are naturally gonna go to the New York knck stuff and this is one of those questions like how many guys too many type situation it’s tough on the Slate without much value to not come here like
You’re almost forced to come here in some capacity and look at some of these guys you have cheap guys uh on the Mavericks which and we just don’t have a lot of cheap guys on the Slate Jaden Hardy 3700 Tim Hardy Jr 5300 Derrick Jones Jr 49 Dwight Paul 42 they’re just
By far the best source of of value on the Slate look to the Nick side Randall under 9k Brunson under 9k they have the the big time upside a hartenstein 65 go to the teams that we ran this is 20 teams um Hardaway showed up on every
Team Hardy showed up on every team Kyrie showed up on 95% of teams Dwight Paul 70% Derek Jones Jor 60 and even joshh green showing up at 60% because we just don’t have value on the Slate um Julius Randle showing up on 95% of teams Josh
Hart has a value 20 uh Brunson only on 10 teams but this is a spot where everyone’s gonna go and honestly It’s just tough to avoid even if you don’t want to come here even if you don’t want to be on the Dallas quote unquote chalk
You almost have to because of the nature of the Slate if you put all these teams back in and just like sort by Val to see we just don’t have cheap plays outside of this game I mean you’re taking massive risks if you want to avoid this
One like where are the value plays outside of the the Dallas guys on the Slate there’s nothing that’s popping so I I just think by necessity you have to come here in some capacity maybe look to you know build your teams a little bit differently if if possible if you are
Heavy on this game those other two or three pieces should be maybe lower owned options but I just feel like you have to be on Dallas because there’s just no other cheap options on the Slate and then you know Randall and Brunson obviously if you are heavy Dallas you
Want some exposure to those guys so I don’t know it just seems like a very tough spot to avoid on this four game slate yeah I’m with you very hard to uh ignore this spot um Kyrie is going to get OG’s defense likely here um the Knicks have won every game since OG
Cracked made the starting lineup since they made that trade and have been I believe over the last week the best defensive team in the um entire NBA here so it is a tough matchup for Dallas um with this defensive front with this new look um Nicks team here who looked very
Good since they made those trades right and got Dante and OG um over here so it is a tough matchup but again minutes lead to opportunity Kyrie you have to expect if this game stays close he’s GNA play just about every minute he can handle um at 9k so I do like obviously
Kyrie despite the tough matchup here um last time in the spot that Luca missed um Kyrie was flirting with a triple double um I believe he had 20 plus points nine rebounds uh or nine nine assists and and five rebounds something like that close to I mean he he he could
See the triple double in his sight so 9k obviously Kyrie there jayen Hardy I think is pretty much a stone cold lock for me at the value it’s just hard to ignore that it’s it can be fragile here but 3700 G to get the start likely going
To play blowout time as well if this game does blow out garbage minutes um so at 3700 here um I think that’s Obviously good chalk to eat couple other interesting plays in this game um on the niick side Dante Devan chenzo at 51 he hasn’t shown a ceiling yet for these
Knicks but I do think he has it in him um I mean he had he did go for 62 um back in in December right um so I don’t hate Dante D venzo at 51 um he should be pretty low owned on the Knicks piece um
Should be able to score and and do some scoring there so I don’t hate that um terms of the Dallas piece really like Jaden Hardy really like Dwight Powell both of those guys Isaiah hartenstein gets a good matchup here um he’s fairly in check in terms of ownership I think
The ownership’s going to go to Randle gonna go to Jaylen Brunson so I don’t mind a hartenstein Dante demon chenzo Nicks pieces um I think both of those are fine um Kyrie obviously great play for me um as well and then Julius Randle I think is fine but I don’t hate jumping
Over to Isaiah hartstein at 65 um 6.5k he’s been playing great right now I know our guy Hebrew talked about him um the other day on the show um that he’s just been picking up a lot more stocks and rebounds and things like that so I I
Like Isaiah hartstein quite a bit at at 6500 but obviously very very good game all the ownership’s likely going I mean right now as it stands on the Dallas side tough matchup but again mines lead opportunity Lucas is out that’s a lot of usage to go around on this team and uh
Some of these guys are going to play no Matter What like a Jaden Hardy in my opinion so definitely like this spot quite a bit yeah I like that hartenstein call I mean look at look what this guy’s been doing lately you know 34 44 39 47
Just a nice floor especially for a four game slate yeah exactly yeah I I see uh a guy Roth in the chat talking about um Hardy projecting for 90 plus percent ownership on some other sites across the industry yeah he’s gonna be I mean he’s going to
Be basically a chalk piece so at that point I mean yeah you can always flirt when a guy’s that high he ain’t going to be 97 there’s no way he’s 97 but he’s going to be very highly owned right I could see 80 plus perc but I mean it’s
Hard cheap value a lot of times in NBA is is value for a reason I believe he started last week um in a similar situation went for 30 what 30 plus um or or 45 excuse me he played 32 minutes last game obviously it was a different matchup right against Portland but when
He drew the start and played the minutes I mean you see what this kid can do uh I mean he almost had a triple double nine rebounds nine assists and 19 points if Kyrie Kyrie has the OG um defensive assignment right I mean some of these
Other guys are going to have to score so Jaden Hardy I think is good chock um don’t think you need to get too cute there um and contemplate fading to be honest with you let’s talk about the last game on the Slate here Phoenix and the Lakers 238 total one point spread in
This one I think it’s a pretty good game obviously you got Anthony Davis LeBron both coming questionable like they do every single game but basically that I look at it as a probable tag just because they come in with that same designation every game cam reddish is
Also questionable not a ton of ownership going to this game it is a pretty decent um total pretty decent or pretty close spread obviously a lot of these guys are are basically fully healthy though do you have any interest in this late night Hammer that starts an hour and a half
After that New Year Knicks Dallas like to get some exposure here 238 total Lakers favored by one um again you just kind of run into the the same sort of issue it’s it’s somewhat hard to to get to these price tags you’re gonna have to
Play the Dallas cheapies to to get to ad LeBron Durant you know Booker plays like that I think Beal is interesting at uh 7,000 flat I mean playing a lot of minutes which is which is nice and last couple games haven’t been good but I
Think this is a really good spot for him um a lot of people maybe go more stars than scrubs if possible but you know be at 7K I think is is a very interesting option nurkic is another not cheap but mid-range option at uh at 68 Reeves as
Well uh on those 20 teams that we ran you see Anthony Davis showed up in like 40 of them LeBron 35 Christian Wood 30 Beal got in there at 15 um so you know it looks like our projections kind of like getting exposure to these Lakers
Guys a little bit yeah I mean you you want some here uh for sure you know Booker at 8,900 stands out as as a good play um but again this game is going to get way more ownership than these first two games that the first two games on
The Slate that we talked about it’s just a challenging slate um just based on the fact that there’s just not much value at all and the value that is there everyone’s going to go to just because of necessity and there’s just not much so it make does make it difficult to get
To these higher end uh players you know ad and LeBron are label as questionable I fully expect them uh them to play um but yeah I mean definitely want some exposure here on the Lakers side I think it’s got to be the big dogs uh on the
Phoenix side I think you can get away with going with like Beal or or nerkish as you guys yeah no great breakdown here um I’m with you uh I like ad but I also like Austin Reeves here for the Lakers in this spot um in all right price take at
69 he’s shown a ceiling um don’t think a lot of ownership goes his way um he he’s not projecting the greatest but I mean he’s showing 50o upside 40 mid 40s um I think you could do that here in this matchup um a little bit cheaper if you
Can’t get up to 80 or LeBron um so I don’t mind it at Austin Reeves nerk was a hero for me earlier this week um I like going right back to the well with nerk he was hurtful last night or or last game but uh before that he he won
Me all the money so or on on Sunday night excuse me um I like going right back to nerk here in this spot so nkik Reeves um ad for me are kind of the the the main plays obviously you can always play a Devon Booker um as a contrarian
Spend up option It’s just tough um with KD back right um and those price points I mean KD’s 9600 Booker’s 8,900 um be’s in there as as well at 7K there’s just a lot of mes de feed there so I like nerk nkik the most for the Phoenix side um
Lakers is 8 and Reeves for me in this one as well but I think that’s uh pretty good breakdown hoop we broke down all four games on the Slate obviously the most important game of the Slate you’re going to see a lot of teams that have I mean
Seven probably probably seven or eight players from that New York Knicks Dallas game I I don’t think it’ll be crazy to see a lot of teams tonight in contest have at least six or seven guys from that New York Knicks Dallas game you’re going to have to get contrarian at a
