Ah, this looks like a useless gun, no, just wait. Hello, this is Air TV Sanghyun Park. Hello, this is Seonho Jang. Today is the day to finally film the mcx video. This MCX has many different types of real guns.

MCX is a product that has been tested several times for Legacy, Virtus, Lettler, and the Spear officially adopted by the U.S. military. As for the products released under gbb, Lettler was released first and Legacy was recently released.

The Legacy was developed as a lightweight version of the keymod rail, but due to durability issues , it was released as Virtus and discontinued. It was released with reinforcement on the letl emlock rail and upper receiver, and

The upper receiver group using an 11.5in barrel was released in the US. Selected by SOCOM for 5.56mm PDW project. Afterwards, it was selected for the project to introduce a silencer-attached receiver group. Ah, then only the upper part is interchangeable with the M4.

Mcx stands for Modular Carbine Exchange, meaning a replaceable modular carbine. It was developed as a product that can use not only 5.56mm but also 300 black out bullets and 7.62mm bullets, and was

Initially developed to participate in the U.S. military’s upper receiver group replacement project. Because it is a product that has been developed. Ah, so this is installed on the lower part of the VFC M4. This brand is APFG, and strangely enough, it fits VFC products well.

Well, the exterior is almost similar except for the rail part. If you look closely, this is wrong again. The bolt advancer was omitted on the Lettler. And if you look at the upper receiver, you can see that the Legacy is much lighter, while the Letrer is, on the contrary, made thicker.

Looking at the composition of this product, the Lettler includes a folding stock and silencer as standard. You can see that the lower part of the Legacy folding stock is the same. If you disassemble both products together, you can clearly see the difference between Retro and Legacy.

The gas piston type bolt carrier is made of a double-seat spring, but the shape of the top is different. In particular, Legacy seems to have done a good job of replicating the shape of a piston-type real gun. The upper part is definitely different in shape.

When the Legacy is a new product, the top of the bolt carrier sometimes gets stuck inside the receiver, but after a few operations, it wears out and resolves itself. This buffer part is made of acetal in the Lettler and made of urethane in the Legacy.

I think this was also changed due to the hub frame crack issue. The Legacy has parts installed on the bolt carrier stop. The original product was reinforced by installing screws, but since the original screws were not installed in the correct location and were easily worn, we replaced them with suspension bolts. However,

In the case of Legacy, the product was separately processed with steel notches by the importer. . And the Legacy got caught on the top of the frame when I separated the barrel, so I thought, ‘Wow, how on earth do I disassemble this?’ But I

Had to apply force to spread the top of the barrel and rail to disassemble it. So, this may be easy to assemble, but I think it would be very difficult to take it apart. So, I neatly processed the top rail and finished coloring it.

I think VFC forgot about this. Perhaps it will be reflected in the next production. Is there any difference in the hop-up control method? Basically, the method of adjusting it using a 5mm wrench is the same, but because the Legacy barrel is longer, a connecting rod is attached in the middle.

However, if the control part is this long, it is not good for coal collection. The lower part is the same as the m4 structure, and the m4 lower part can be installed as is.

The Trigo group is all made of steel, and the AMBI selector, magazine stop, and bolt catch are pressed up and down, so it seems to be a good reproduction of a real gun.

However, the shape of the magazine insert is a little different from the M4, so 416 magazines other than GI magazines cannot be inserted, and in the case of the V-Mac, there seems to be some deviation. And the upper part seems to have improved a bit on Legacy.

Based on the actual gun, the Lettler is the new model, but the improvement has become the electric model, the Legacy. Unlike the mpx, the mcx thread sear is fixed with a countersunk screw, but this screw is slightly shorter, so if you tighten it with a little force, the thread will be lost.

So we replaced it with a slightly longer screw. However, Legacy changed this part to fixing it with a blunt screw like mpx. The Nori forward fixing position also has threads on one side of the receiver for the Lettler, but the Legacy still minimizes this part, so at least the bolts are fastened properly.

Oh, please take care of this sooner. Only the person who buys first loses. Well, they will do it in the next production. And the hop-up isn’t as good as the mpx, but even with all the hop-up off, the bullets go up a lot. How about this?

This part needs to be processed together with the coal collection work. VFC is all good, but there are many products tailored for high weight and high bullet velocity, so in an environment like ours where 0.2g bullets are used in low bullet velocity, I think there are some shortcomings.

I tested two versions of the mcx Lettler, one with a silencer and one with a muzzle brake, and both had too much variation in bullet collection. I think this might be a bit difficult to use in games.

Even with the hop-up fully released, the MCX Legacy had a very severe upper shell, and perhaps because of that, the average bullet size was around 70 to 80 mm. It’s better than the mcx lettler, but it seems a bit difficult to use in the game if the hop-up problem isn’t solved.

As expected from the VFC, 41g of gas was used, but the bolt catch did not work well after the first magazine. The Lettler fires up to 264 rounds, but the recoil is greatly weakened, so the operating range is around 220 rounds, and the Legacy is around 200 rounds.

Gas efficiency is a bit lower than VFC’s other ARs. When I fired it, the MCX bolt catch pin came off. When inserting the pin, lightly apply instant adhesive to the side with the O-ring and assemble it to avoid losing it.

Even if the hop-up is fully released, the bullets float, so the bullets are not that good. This hop-up lever has left and right clearance. If you look at both sides of the lever, there are protrusions that allow you to maintain the clearance, but the clearance is still too much, so

You need to attach temperature tape to this part to control the clearance on the left and right, and process the lever into a shape that does not cause the basic hop-up.

And in the case of Legacy, one more thing needs to be done: the rod connected from the hop-up control part to the hop-up lever becomes bent like this when installed.

Since this part cannot be modified separately, it can be easily solved by wrapping it with something like Velcro tape to prevent it from bending. Then, let’s take a look at the modified cluster bullet and talk again. Oh, I think this definitely gave me a lot of shots bouncing left and right.

And it seems like the bullets spread from 70mm to 120mm and have been stably concentrated to about 50mm. Of course, there are bullets that bounce around. Lettler and Legacy have the weight of the bolt carrier, and the recoil spring has more tension than expected, so when rapid fire is used, cooling progresses quickly.

If you wear the extended barrel type silencer on the Lettler, the bullets collected get worse. I think it’s because the BB hit the chin where the inner barrel extends.

However, if you remove this extension barrel and use it, the hole at the end of the silencer is small, so the BB hits there again. If you really want to use this silencer, you will need to extend the inner barrel or enlarge the hole in the lid to insert a tracer module.

But even if everything else is solved, how do you solve the cooling part? Actually, this is the most important thing. This is because the recoil spring tension is very strong and the amount of gas discharged during blowback is large, so I made it! I guess this could solve it.

We made several samples, tested them well, and made two versions to ensure that they function well in cold conditions while maintaining blowback recoil.

The vfc AR’s bolt catch works well even when the magazine temperature is around 2 degrees, but the mcx doesn’t work at all even when the magazine temperature goes up to the low 10s. However, with this spring installed, it works well even at 7 degrees. This must be installed together.

This requires modifying the bolt catch spring to suit the product. However, this does not mean that it operates in a completely cooled state, but it is a product made to operate sufficiently within the range that we can use.

The included magazine is a basic V3 magazine, but some V2 magazines are also compatible and some are not. Although both v2 and v3 are the same size in the same GI magazine, they may not be compatible regardless of the version depending on the plastic injection condition of the upper part of this magazine.

If the plastic part is incorrectly injected, it may get stuck in the receiver when the insert is fired, or the gas root rubber may be torn due to the height not matching the loading nozzle, or in extreme cases, the loading nozzle may be damaged. But

This is too much of a problem, so should we leave it to chance? Another solution is to reassemble the magazine.

When disassembling and assembling the magazine, it is said that it is very difficult to assemble it due to the tension of the magazine spring when assembling the upper plastic part. This is because the assembly order is wrong.

Instead of disassembling from the top like this, when disassembling and assembling from the bottom, you can easily disassemble and assemble by assembling the lower part after assembling the upper part. Well, it’s much easier to assemble it this way.

Even though it is a new magazine, there are cases where gas leaks. One side of the rubber packing may be chewed during assembly, or if you are really unlucky, the magazine case may be deformed and gas leaks may occur. iMagazine is a very important part, but the QC is very disappointing.

After using it, I think it really covers up the magazine a lot. Even if you use the same v3 magazine, some have good recoil, while others have a bit of a jerk.

Among those who purchase mcx, there may be those who want to use the existing vfc AR magazine, but I think this is a bit disappointing as there are differences in performance for each magazine. And I think processing the hop-up lever is essential for collecting bullets.

In fact, even if you process the hop-up lever, it will not be accurate enough to be used in a shooting match, but this is enough to be used in games. And I think Legacy has better recoil than Lettler. The Legacy seemed to have slightly better recoil as the bolt carrier was slightly heavier.

At first, I was very disappointed because it cooled down so quickly that I couldn’t use two magazines in succession, but

After installing the spring we made, the bolt catch, which can be said to be the soul of the gbb, worked properly, so I had to install this spring as well. I think it will work.

Although there are a few shortcomings, the MCX is a product that can be customized into various models, so I think it is a very attractive product. The MCX I saw today had excellent product reproduction for both Lettler and Legacy and worked well.

However, the Lettler released first had some shortcomings in internal quality, and both products were vulnerable to cooling. I think it would be a good idea to use it together with the spring we manufactured as it will greatly improve the operation during cooling.

The overseas price of this product is about $550, and the domestic price is about 1.1 million won.

Currently, there are two VFC importers, so there is a slight difference in consumer price, and there is also a difference in the steel notch reinforcement of the bolt carrier, so it would be a good idea to compare and choose.

If you are considering purchasing, I think it would be helpful to watch the video. If you have any other opinions, please leave a comment. Well, that’s it for today. This was Jang Seon-ho of Air Six TV. It was Sanghyun Park. Hey, if this goes on, a spear will come out, right?

As soon as the ngsw machine gun comes out, buy it. I also bought a vortex scope with a ballistic calculator. Wow, can BB ballistics be calculated as well?
