It’s a Thursday night venture to Happy Valley this week for an eight race program on the aour Paul L’s here and he’s going to try and find us eight winners along the way easy as that but we’ve got a scratching in the first and Lady Billy she won’t be running so race

One number seven is out first race 710 it’s the lck handicap a class 4 over the 12200 M golden long goes up 8 on his debut win Super axm Cross over Noose band is back on tongue tight is off triumphant Warrior 6 weeks since he ran second on debut better draw for beauty

Infinity Happy Feeling has the blinkers and the shadow roll coming off and down the bottom spicy so smart and also ice Talent Pace here Paul and I easy one with super axium in the race by he so smart shows Pace too he does like he might just have to make super axium work

For a little bit he’s drawing the outside but super axum’s got the superior speed he’s one of the fastest out of the gates golden long show a little bit of speed in his debut run triumphant Warrior likewise back to King excelon Beauty Affinity went back last time Ace talent and heavy feeling

Although he’s joined the inside I think he’ll probably go all the way to the back we start with an interview golden long so impressive on Debo next spoke to his jockey Matthew chedwick Matthew golden long is a horse that you rode on on debut um rather impressive

Performance you as a rider must have been quite taken by it oh he showed some in his trials and uh we’re hoping he brought it to the race day and that’s what he did and he he won nicely talking of those trials performances of course Frankie was Keen to get him to Happy

Valley I guess it was always a logical place to start he seemed to handle the track quite well um as far as riding a horse around their first time was he probably as good as any that that you’ve ridden in the past yeah well he’s say he shown some

Ability in the trials he was always jumping well and uh we thought Hab Valley would suit him uh we actually wanted to try to get him to get some cover in the tri but uh he was jumping so well that uh it never it never came about but uh he handled it

Well when he found that cover yday and he hit the line nicely it’s a bit more demanding on him this time Matthew he’s got obviously the up to mark of six he’s gone up eight pounds there’s a bit of pace in the race as well um I mean it

Looks like he’s obviously continuing to improve I guess there’s a strong Pace sudit horse like him the one that does travel so well yeah of course uh the faster they go if can sit off them and find a comfortable Rhythm he should be hitting the line well

Again he looked to win with a nice pin in hand obviously there was a two- length buer in the end so um I guess onwards and upwards for him he probably doesn’t spend too much time in this grade um I would imagine going forward well that’s a hope fingers crossed cuz

Uh it looks like it’s a bit of a stronger field this time around so we’ll just have to see how it plays out hopefully it’s unfortune in our part and uh he keeps on Rising and through the grades there he is Matthew chedwick talking gold and long we move on to the

Opposition here Paul starting with Ace Talent who’s running over 1200 meters again this week and King exante he charges home to run second behind toii yeah really good run King excellante uh one of the things with this uh race was there was a lot of pace uh early in the

Race so you can see beauty Destiny set up a really fast pace here and he was gone here so to gy did have the race run to suit as did King exante the one we’re focusing on I think he’d be a little bit closer in the run though which should should help him

Trant Warrior he’s been back to the trial since this Debo second he ran third in that trial behind Hong Kong hall went up on the speed turns for home about fifth or sixth he went off at 29 to1 in this race for a Debo second good

Run I don’t think it’d be that sort of price coming up on Thursday night but look he finished off strongly enough there’s definitely a horse of a bit of ability there uh so look I’m going to include him I thought he ran on to the line really strongly and hit the line

Well so a good run from him on Deo good report for triumphant Warrior what about beauty Infinity better draw than what he had here when he ended up running third it was a very good performance behind easy snip from the seven gate two with 127 lb on Thursday night yeah it was a

Huge run from this horse actually because he was three or four wide at the back of the hallway and here he was only going to run sort of fourth or fifth with this run under his belt he’s he really stretched out nicely and uh hit

The line really well so thought it was a top run from him enough to put him on top yeah I really like him in this race so uh he’s going to go on top for me Beauty and Infinity the golden long the thing that worries me a little bit about

Him is he’s only a three-year-old so he’s now going to carry 135 as a three-year-old from barrier eight so that’s why I thought Bey Infinity could beat him Triumph Warrior and King excelon we talked about 5143 that is the preview for race number one Paul with Andrea rzany and John SI

To combine in the Opener second race second division of the class four of over the 1200 M this one has youth power having the hood going on for the first time he’s also on the class drop travel golf with blinkers added once again lucky Symphony on debut on the back of five trials happy Souls

Went off a rating of 45 he’s just slightly higher at 50 at the moment with the claim Happy Valley Debo for new power no trials at the venue Colonels a three-time course and distance winner on a Six-Day backup and Shen Ken gets in with 116b for Caris ton and Douglas white so

Straight to the front pole but he’s come up with another wide draw yeah he he might have to work to get across but there’s no other real leader in the race except for my intelligent and Colonel’s got I think’s got Superior speed to him new P luy symphony’s trial really well

And he’s been on the pace in his trials Trevor golf back to Flying phandom youth power happy so Shin Canen and Roy I thought it was a pretty straightforward speed map this one as easy as that we do start with the likely leader in the race colel but he

Fades to run eighth here he was unable to find the front with a horse like Beauty Destiny having the good draw what about happy soul though he’s quite often making L ground he is just a one time one of the the thing that worries me

About these horses is that it was such a fastly Run Race in the early stages that you you you should have made ground and and the horses did make ground so maybe they’re just slightly flattered so look I’ve been included these ones okay so that’s a zero on that Replay for Paul

What about shin Canon he too would like to pay some because he likes to get back had some issues leading into this the start prior when he pulled up blame but he zipped home fast down the outside here yeah good runner they didn’t go as

Fast in this race so in that respect it was a better run I thought than the previous so he goes in I’m going to put Trevor Goin as well with the blinkers back on from a low draw he’s draw barrier two he drew 12 here and he

Stayed on nicely enough on the inside so both these two I think are legitimate chances that’s golden long winning that race he of course lines up in race number one have you liked what you’ve seen from this horse lucky Symphony Jamie Richards and Andrea rany combin

Yeah I have he had five trials he’s won three of them uh this horse 1142 lb tangai goes on for his debut run uh drawn nicely in barrier six look it’s The Usual Suspects in this race he’s the new kid on the Block and I I think there

Is ability there so uh I’m I’m going to take a chance with him all right so you’ve seen enough of those raced ones to suggest he’s capable of winning on Debo so it’s race two more love for Andrea rany for you yeah look I like him

In the first two races so I think he’s going to start off the meeting really well a flying Phantom in there for second he’s just had the one run he ran a really nice fifth on debut as well and John C’s horses sometimes come on for

The run and then sh Canon and treble Golf out of that same race 54 103 it’s an at zanth on for Paul in the first two races at Happy Valley class five horses out for race number three on the program and it is over the 1650 big twos on the class drop he’s had a chunga trial technical command Asian one happy hunk also on the class drop Asian one has the pacifi with cows off and the visor going back on

Regency happy Stars placed his last three happy G’s a three-time course and distance winner medical eats back but a Thursday night for him hang’s choices one and run thir his last two starts course and distance at Happy Valley and joyful Champion has the blinkers going

Back on speed Paul Mr arms drawn one and can get through and Lead yeah he he likes the lead he led easily at his last hat one H one he’s got a bit of draw I think he can get himself into a nice position hey likes to go forward Cy

Ships one he might try and get outside Mr R he just might have to work a bit to do that but if he doesn’t he’ll give cover to Regency happy star who I think’s uh he’s been going well in his races technical command LED last start

But it didn’t really work for him he ran a lot better when he came from behind you might be surprised to learn medic Elites in our first two replays and here he is running third Regency happy start the draws against him this week but he’s doing everything lately other than

Winning a race and cyps one is proven course and distance yeah and look he two starts ago they made that mid race move and it almost paid off but uh this one he hit the front and just got run down late so look I think he’s a winner

Waiting to happen there’s no doubt with Regency happy star he’ll get the claim as well once again anger sticks aboard and have to put medical lead in just for consistency he put it this way he’s a fit horse he is in indeed he ran I wonder if he’s ever run on a Thursday

Night he’s been around Happy Valley on a weekend he didn’t run on the Friday night meeting so anyway here is again funly enough M khite running second this is where Holly doy stole the race in front H’s Choice has been good at the valley one heart one makes up plenty of

Ground from the back yeah really caught the eye one heart one with this run finished off really strongly he’s drawn nicely now in barrier number four the David Hay stables in good form at the moment so look I think this horse is going to run well and you can see him

Finishing off really strongly down the outside here so look he’s definitely one of the main chances he’s had a trial since 21 one finished about Midfield wasn’t asked to do too much in that trial joyful Champions right down the bottom in the book you can’t miss him he

Is a gray he’s been at Chen Last time for a fifth behind colorful Baron fifth over the 1800 two runs ago he does come back to the 1650 for just the second time in his career yeah they tied him over 2,000 and that was probably his

Best run when he ran second so look he looks an out andout one sort of grinder for me doesn’t he the way he finishes off blinkers will go back on him he’s drawn nicely in barrier too but he didn’t quite make it in uh here but it

Wasn’t a bad run behind colorful Baron Matthew Pon takes a couple of pounds off a joyful Champion there he is just getting into fifth late in that race you’ve been with at zany in the first two races he rites Asian one here does the Bromance continue in the top three

Or four he does I’ve got him in there actually uh he’s only in for third this time though uh Asian one but he’s getting down to a winnable rating now Rey happy St thinks a winner waiting to happen just need luck from the draw one

Heart one was a great run from him last time then Asian one and then medical Eon there for fourth 68 3 and N that is race number three it’s League one of Thursday nights six Up race number four is the trophy race on Wednesday night the running of the Hong Kong Golf Club Centenary cup over the 1650 M at the top of the book is Prince Alex Dragon Star looking for three in a row Kasa is coming back from the 2200 M A Killer Instinct was placed

This trip two starts ago Merchant Prince is on a six day backup win-win Fighters W off ratings 59 and 56 Fortune presidents coming back in distance also amazing boy has the blinkers going on superb move has one over the 1650 in class 5 does come up with a wide draw of

11 with a claim dragon stars been leading All Season pull so why not just keep on doing the same thing yeah exactly he can go forward and uh he it works for him he’s had four runs and run really well on all four superb move um

Look he’s drawn wide but I think he can get across uh hence amazing boy can get a nice run Prince Alex won’t be far away Fortune BRD Killer Instinct will need luck he’s missed the start on occasions Killer Instinct he’s not sure what you’re going to get with him he did sit

Wide on the all weather and wi over the 1650 earlier in the season Killer Instinct this horse hasn’t had to worry about sitting wide because he’s going straight to the front another one of Pierre fores holding their form pole but extra 10 lb on his back can he go again

I’ve got him in but not on the Wind line I I just wonder if he’s sort of getting towards his Mark now winning those last I do like the run here of strongest boy uh he had to come off heels here on the inside and finished off the race really

Strongly so I thought it was a really good uh run from him and win-win fighter as well both these two horses came from the back that’s our first replay the second one surea joyful usual sure joyful run for him he runs on well into third Killer Instinct finishes is 12th

And you’re going to make a case for the horse in the Purple colors with the pink spots coming to the outside H yeah well that’s superb boy I think you’ll get him into the nice uh nice position there superb boy and look he’s just close to a

Class drop that was just the query I had so he was right on the cus but I didn’t include sure joyful for me but superb move you can see staying on nicely enough there for fourth all right so you didn’t quite get to the case that you

Were going to yeah I was going to put him in and I know we talked about earlier on but I just I just left them out on there all right teetering on the Seesaw was superb move Kasa Pap has been up to the trials at chunar he zipped up

On the outside looking like he was going to win easily Den he just labed a bit KN when he get at the line the 1650 do it suit better than the 2200 of last time I don’t know what his right distance isn’t he’s only a one time placing from his 15

Starts as horse kasaa uh over this course and distance he’s had four goes and His Four zip he’s a hard horse to have I mean he’s just showing one good run he TRS nicely enough as you can see as you see the tri there’s nothing wrong

With it um but look I I want to see him do it on race day again it is the Jerry Chow young inform combination though that might help C Papa in the plus column there’s trouble in Paradise though Andre ran is on the one and he’s

Not in no I haven’t put him in this time give him a little a rest on this race but look I’m going with strongest boy I think he’ll get back run on strongly sure joyful similar he always is consistent Dragon Star see if he can

Keep going but he’s going to be a bit hard with that extra weight and win-win fighter comes out that same race the strongest boy in Dragon Fighter 910 27 that is all of the information for the fourth the first leg of the triple Trio just past the midpoint of the program race number five is the robin handicap and it is a a class for over the 1,000 M how many fires off that last start second comes up with a good draw to Harry Bentley back on Thursday night Sergeant Peppa this is he go but did

Struggle last time savy Delight play course and distance Falcon Court was backed on day Buu life is good he carries an extra 7 pound for that first up win for the pier R stable same to you Hood goes on first start for Mark nunam for him over subscribed as a last start

Winner circuit seven is now with Cody Mo as we turn to the speed map Paul and Beauty Destiny is in this race he and konar both have high speed would you be thinking if you like Beauty Destiny Hope it’s the K star the B K star that misses

The start you yeah well that’s your only chance I think because kist is going to put pressure on and we know what happens to Beauty Destiny when it gets pressure and it’s not good so I think there’s going to be a lot of pace in this race

How many FS going to get that perfect run behind Sergeant Pepper won’t be far away I don’t know what they’re going do with ob subscribe because they’ve been riding him a bit closer but from a wide draw they might have to go all the way back uh circuit 7 he’s another one that

Can lead and but misses the start at times as well so he’s with a new stable now we’ve got an interview with Nick talking to the winner of last start life is good he’s jockey Angus Chung Angus Chung um you’re back on Thursday night at Happy Valley and

You’re riding a horse that you rode last time to victory in the shape of life is good um a little bit of a surprising win from that horse yeah pretty surprised me um just take this hor last minute last time and um I didn’t expect he ran that

Impressive um when is he I think the H improved a lot um especially the the mouth he getting better control now so um he finished good last out so hopefully um next time which mean Thursday will run good again I guess you talk of the Improvement I mean when a

Horse goes to Pier they usually do seem to improve a little bit he’s got his horses going really well um how surprised were you in the manner in which he won because he he looked to win with a little bit in hand at the line

Yeah uh he was a bit handing in but um yeah I mean he finished very good um got a good very good feeling on him um so um I think he’s um still a good chance in on Thursday of course I mean they’ve put him up U they’ put him up seven pounds

But but your 5 pound claim will obviously help offset that so it’s always a positive in that respect yeah that’s that um the um the was on his back is not going up too much so should be okay and Angus great to have you back as well of

Course you had a few meetings um away obviously with a suspension you’ve been keeping yourself busy there we’ve seen you at the races quite a bit but you must be pleased to be back in Action 100% um I mean too much suspension in this season so far um just I think try

To H but um everyone fixed um my mental get the balance right now so um I’m hungry for the winner for the new year there he is zus Chung talking life is good and going forward for the season also there’s heaps to look at in this

Replay Paul super fast Dragon he is near enough to last turning for Home Savvy Delights hit and miss at the moment Harmony fire not a bad effort from him and over subscribe as a last winner yeah I just don’t know where he’s going to be and over subscribed with that wide draw

So I left him left him out I did like super fast dragons run here though like you can see he gets back so he needs luck but he’s done this a couple of times now Yuga Ka just finally balanced him up in that last 50 and that was sort

Of the best uh this is going to be run at a decent speed I think this race so it should suit him we’ve got to show it this is why the race is going to be run at a decent speed Beauty Destiny ends up running seventh turns for home like he’s

Going to win by four links he comes back to the th M can you make a case for him or you want to actually see him run through the line yeah no I can’t make a case for him at all I I didn’t put him in this race because I was worried

Because he’s he’s got this Quirk isn’t he he flashes his tail and he he stops really quickly and you can see him doing that once again I would be more inclined to if there was no pressure in the race but he’s definitely going to get pressure from either K or even circuit

Seven if he jumps so I can’t I can’t have him he’s out who’s in I’m going to go with super fast Dragon down the bottom I think he’s Jo Inn this horse uh and he’s been running some pretty good races and he’ll get the race run to suit

How many fires the main danger for me he’s going to get a perfect run just in behind we’ll give circuit seven a a chance he’s well rated horse now chain stable he put on a bit of weight uh we’ll see how that goes and then sey Delight number one that ran on strongly

In his last St 121 11 and three jamy Richards fresh off a Happy Valley double from last Friday night on top for Paul with super fast Dragon to Win race number Five a very informed horse uping grade headlines race number six and it’s the third last of the night it’s a class three over the 1650 moments in time carries Les white with a claim for Angus Chong this week winning dragon has the blinkers going on prime minister from

The 1400 to the 1650 Gallant waking has played three from four Corson distance thesis he was scratched on the 12th of December with a lame left for no trial since tradition comes here on Debo for Piong was trained by James Cummings raced under the same name 1900 meter

Winners at Newcastle and Canterbury for tradition Viva Hunter is a three-time course and distance winner and M unicorn is looking to make it four from he’s last five and where does this likely favorite Paul M unicorn settle in the Run well I think it’d be Midfield on the

Rail actually M unicorn so he’ll get a good run um no question about that he’s he’s coming up in grade but he’s got this lightweight and he’s drawn nicely and barer number four there’s no real leader in this race via Hunter did lead last start in saying that so from a wide

Draw I think he can get across moments in time look he had the trail last time in his first run at Happy Valley comes here for the second time winning Dragon fer sh and thesis both should get good runs Bentley is back Harry Bentley rides

M unicorn and he had a little chat with Nick Harry Bentley great to have you back on Thursday evening one of your rides is is M unicorn a horse you know quite well um you must be looking forward to getting back on him yeah certainly looking forward to getting on

Him um you know he’s had a fantastic season so far and uh he’s done nothing but improve so uh yeah let’s hope he he can do it in class three he won at the igc meeting last time out of course Ryan Moore was the the fortunate beneficiary

To pick up that ride but on the couple of occasions that you’ve won on him he’s he’s shaped as if he’s a horse that continues just to rise through these Happy Valley grades yeah I mean clearly he suits Happy Valley very well um when I rode him at the beginning of the SE

This season here at shtin I knew this a horse that had a lot in hand and he certainly improved an awful lot and and and gone up in the ratings you’re right in saying that of course he is into class three now lightweight something you’re fortunate enough to do um do you

Think he’s the horse that can sort of take that step forward I mean obviously as he goes up into sort of class three and Beyond it it does get that bit tougher here of course yeah naturally you know the quality is is is tougher and um he’s going to be up against it

But with such a lightweight on his back like to think that that’s going to stand in a good stead and you know a horse that’s certainly on the improve and and in fine form yeah there’s no reason why he can’t be competitive Casper his trainers has tried a familiar path

Sending him up to chunar and triing well there have the reports been been positive from from the trainer if you’ve had a chance to chat to him yeah from whatever I’ve heard from Casper he sounds like the horse is is still in good form and um yeah he’s certainly

Coming into the race fit and healthy great to have you back Harry as well of course um busy night on Thursday you were telling me you got a nice amount of rid so great to get back straight straight back into it that’s right yeah

I’ve got six rides um on the night so a nice number to kick off with and um I’m fit and raring to go so very much looking forward to it and hoping that M unicorn can win again he’s going to have to beat some of the following horses though Gallant

Waking is consistent Paul moments in time Fifth and Foolish Heart he wasn’t too far away here but Gallant waking always gets back and runs on over the 1650 so he needs lack doesn’t he uh but look I’m going to include him as well you can see him getting that Gap one off

The ril and finishing off nicely moments in time look he held his position this is only his first run ever at Happy Valley does get some weight off his back now with The Apprentice claiming he had the line nice enough so I’m going to include him as well thesis here he is

Going back to the 15th of November this is the last time we saw him on race day Viva Hunter we know him over course and distance and winning Dragon a little wider out turning for home yeah look I just wonder if with Viva hund’s adits Mark but I’m going to include thesis cuz

There was a couple of good runs from him uh prior to this he did run a nice second as well so with those two runs it’s just uh how he comes into this race fresh he did finish off this race nicely enough he’s only had the two runs this

Season so this was uh his second up and his fresh run for a second was good so in a fresh State I think he’ll Runway back to morning track work now Paul for prime minister he’s been one of yours how about in this field this week look I

I don’t mind the you know I like the horse he was was right on the cast for me I actually had him inight I took him out in the end just because the anticipated race uh Pace in the race I think it might be a little bit slow for

Him he needs to speed on what are your top four for race number six I’m going with M unicorn I think he can win again with the lightweight so he’s on top a thesis Fresh Out moments and time and Gallant waking 1171 and four that is the preview for race number

Six it’s the first leag of the late Treble good quality race race number seven second last on Thursday night it is a class three over the 1200 M Atomic Force has placed three from five distance tomachi kokuro has the hood coming off Bon’s Pearl on a six day backup and flew home last time hos has the blinkers on

First Time beauty waves wears a shadow roll first time and righteous Aran who had his last start at Shard 10 back to his favorite course and Champion method the 11 horse has the addition of chick pieces we’ve got speed here from the three superb capitalist and tomachi Koko

Can get up outside him from eight pole that’s the query it’s what Kenny um I think he probably can but look he went back last time and he didn’t run too badly when he went back so it’s just how he jumps Tomi kcko uh superb cist is an

Out out leader Beauty waves will get a nice run in behind Champion method another one that can go forward parer is going to be a little bit wide I think from his draw excellent fighter should go well hos towards the back and Bon a Piller ran well from the back last time

We start with tomachi Koko here he is last time where he did go back from that wide draw and that was from barrier number 11 gate eight this week vinsent ho sticks and active faith is also in this replay yeah not sure what they’re going to do with him um Tomi Cocker as

You can see he ran on nicely enough previous to this he was on the pace and he he ran really well uh actor Faith’s got a really bad drawers this horse he had a win recently active Faith two starts ago um so he might be just bit

High in the weights in the moment you’ve got neither of them in have you no okay we move on to the next Replay which is bonsa pea she was Miles back going down the back straight the further they went the closer she got quick back up is she in

No bons PE looks I I want to see her do it two in a row and saying that fourth and a second and the last two starts again she’s going to have to do it from the back Bon it was a nice enough run

From her but uh no not for me all right you’re being very diplomatic there’s that can’t win surely we’re getting close to the one that can excellent fighter is he in yeah no he’s definitely goes in excellent fighter he’s Tri really well at Happy Valley so um yet to

Race here under race conditions but trolled really well here so it looks like he can handle the track with no problems he’s been a very consistent horse three time winner from his 10 starts so uh he definitely goes and I think he’s a big chance and that is excellent fighter running in the

Placings behind mugan who did fail on the weekend but vundabar he won the race and King Rising excellent Fighters just getting past now of course went down by a very narrow margin so that’s excellent fighter a yes as far as chances for Paul in race number seven Beauty waves

Running third Champion method 10th Beauty waves gets a good draw he too has TR up well around Happy Valley yeah look he definitely goes in I think he’s one of the main chances as well Beauty waves uh he should get the perfect run just in behind so he’s uh a definite chance I’m

Going to put Champion method in as well look his whenn when he did win was pretty strong at um happy at Shon he comes to Happy Valley for the first time one his first two and cheick piece is on from a low barrier draw so wanted to

Include him as well that’s a good report for that pair and we’re going to track work once again now the leader is superb capitalist and if he gets the right sort of run you think they might not catch him I was looking for a horse at a bit

Of a price and I thought he might be just a forgotten horse we know he’s uh he does like it round Happy Valley uh his work’s been pretty good leading into it and Tony Cruz has had a couple winners at Big prices recently I thought

This one might could be one as well so you’re with race seven number three yeah he’s dropped the point coming into this uh getting towards a winnable rating I thought superb capist X and figh and Beauty waves second and third they’ll probably be the two favorites in the

Race and then Champion method on the minor line 35 71 angas Chung looking to win his fourth race and Paul thinks that will be the case when he rides superb capitalist once again this is a great way to finish off the meeting at Happy Valley high quality

Class 2 event how deep is your love is second up he ran third behind son Pac Fu first up son Pac fu is the two he’s looking for three in a row Nordic dragons Tri really well since his last start Majestic stars back onto the turf astrologer won second up a huge price
