We have just released a statement regarding their stance in regards to uh a possible European super league and this is what Liverpool Football Club have had to say today yesterday’s ruling by the European court of justice does not change Liverpool FC’s previous stance on a proposed European Super League our involvement has been

Discontinued we will continue to work with fellow clubs through the ECA and participate in UEFA competitions and that will obviously go down with Liverpool go down well with Liverpool fans we know that yesterday the spirit of shankley released a statement which in that they said that Liverpool fans

Had already said no to a super league in April 2021 when it was first announced and nothing has changed from their point of view either they believe that such a move went against the values and traditions of the football club as well as the values and traditions of this

City as well back then obviously the spirit of shankley the fans were listen to and John W Henry apologized uh to the fans and took responsibility for Liverpool’s involvement in the initial talks as regards the European super league and in the aftermath the supporters board was obviously established and written into the club’s

Articles of Association affirming that such a decision cannot be taken again without F full consultation with supporters well obviously once again though it seems that the supporters now and the club are joined up once again in terms of their thinking and Liverpool confirming today that they will not be

Taking part in any European Super League

  1. I love the comments me everyone seems to be a professional on what they say 😂 social media and today's society 💩BS and clowns 🤡

  2. Proponents of the Super League fail to understand that it ONLY panders to the armchair fans, the one's paying however much a month to see Sky Games on the TV, and tossing a coin to see who they'd support 5 minutes before kick off. Whilst the real fans particularly here in Britain, either of clubs who don't get those TV deals due to their position in the pyramid, or who would walk over broken glass to follow their teams no matter the hard times their side may have landed on, find the concept elitist and insulting to not only them but everything great about football to begin with. You'd find real football fans as you did a couple of years ago, taking to the street and disrupting games in mass protests against the Super League to let their feelings be heard, you wouldn't find armchair plastics who support it doing anything more than throwing a few trolled comments over the internet.

It's a working class game, with deep community roots here, where in recent years we've seen it become more and more commercialised, which is scary in itself. Where if any club were to join it, it would feel we'd be losing our beloved game altogether.

  3. What fsg say to the press and what they do behind closed doors, this rats tried to sell us down the road before

  4. from fsgs point of view, the value of the club has increased since back then, they have built an even stronger team to compete and the saudi league is paying good money on aging players and probably made connections for future investment in the club or a buyer.

  5. Lol don't worry once it's implemented they along with all the other drop outs will be singing a different tune. Super League all the way!!
