NBA needs to play way less games, maybe like college does. Cut the games in half. Make all games count. So the good players play.
You are worried about stars playing, but a tackle that even lots of older players don’t know what it is or don’t claim to. Are injuring star players at a significant rate. They can be just as physical without that play.

Interesting ideas. But I think the Chargers need an offensive coach. Neither Bill B or Tomlin would be a good fit. They should have gotten Sean Payton. Also, this is not often said, but I think Herbert is a bit wimpy, not alpha male enough. If the organization doesn't get a really excellent offensive coach (Harbaugh?), the star players are going to start trading out. Herbert isn't strong enough a leader to keep them.
