Antique Golf Club No.6 – Skoogee Concave Sand Wedge c1930

One of the first sand wedge dating around 1930, this club is a Skoogee model by Gibsons of Kinghorn. The face is dished (concave) and was made illegal for competition play in 1931 shortly after Bobby Jones used a similar club to win the Grand Slam in 1930. Hickory shafted.
