  1. Journalism is a funny thing, story, story story..Marquez will be quick and surprise people at Ducati (Rossi supporter)..he does have another championship in him if riding a better bike..
Yes Japanese factories are needing to shift focus but are they seeing a future not realistic anymore?
Aside from Acosta arriving which will be good to watch, Arbolino needs a ride, he will be good to watch..
Martin i think is going to get to the finish line first, Bagnia needs a win or two, Martin has his tail up👍

  2. Sprint races have diluted MotoGP it has cheapened it it is not a plus 😐 MotoGP is supposed to be the Elite Championship now it’s just more motorcycle racing 😐

  3. Agree on everything Mr Oxley is saying, most old fans of motorcycles racing don’t want the top series to look like formula one, if the young people want that then please watch car racing instead, you will get wings for all your money there 😅

  4. Honda promised they would hire several top European engineers and aerodynamicists from Ducati, Aprilia, KTM to develop their 2024 bike. But they hired no one! That's one of the main reasons why Marc Marquez is leaving his Honda contract 1 season early.

I've been saying for a while both Honda & Yamaha need to change the bike development structure to be on par with the European Motogp teams. Ideally having the main bike development base in Europe as all the top engineers and aero guy's live in Europe.

  5. Superb great to hear from Mat Oxley and he is completely correct in what he is saying about the aero and whole shot devices it all needs reining back it's just become too technical ,obviously it is the elite class and prototype class but as Mat said this does not relate to road bikes especially since speed restrictions are ever decreasing due to climate controls and safety which are somewhat dubious .I am sure that aero is one of the worst things to happen in the sport in the same way as it has had an adverse effect on actual racing in F1 being processional although I have not watched F1 in many years . Very interesting watch 👌👍

  6. Don’t want to sound out of order but I second Max for Trimby replacement. What a great show for us gp lovers thanks guys 🏁

  7. Get rig of all that crazy Areo Cosmetics on the bikes, it must be murder trying to stuff it up the inside of a bike with Samurai swords hanging off it.

  8. Why don't you at OMG listen to Oxely and Emment? Us Moto GP nut cases don't want any references to F1.
I would rather you draw anology from something in the Bible or trolly bus development.

  9. Part 2 with Mat is a must please, just brilliant, could have listened to the three of you all day 👏👏👏🍾🏁

  10. In Pecco's defense, he did get ran over by a KTM just a couple weeks ago. So he may be a little off the pace. If he heals fully and gets it behind him mentally he could take back the championship.
Either way it's good to see a close fight for the championship

  11. I was doing something else and listening to the podcast in the back round . I said to myself ….Who is this clown? I look up and its Matt Oxley …Delirious Honda fanboy and Ducati hater .This is the guy who accused Ducati of cheating with air pressure when ALL manufacturers where doing so for safety . TO THIS DAY HE HAS NEVER APPOLOGISED TO DUCATI . Also .. Aero and ride height improve handling and are a need not and option at the great speed run by todays bike with such high hp . Bikes are going so fast they need more aero not less . Aero decreases turbulance to the rider following thats why following rider must have equal hp to pass and cannot … draft pass .. on an inferior bike . Thats why Honda dislikes aero and you being a honda fanboy follow suit . … Tricks of motogp explained on yiu tube by B Sport a real engineering firm .Maxx oxley get with the times .. Its 2023 not 1983

  12. Personally, Qatar is my favorite track on the calendar. Even playing the game it flows super nice lots of time on the edge of the tire

  13. Superb podcast, and having Mat Oxley accompanying Keith, has been fabulous.
Bring HIM (Mat) back, the depth of info shared, just off the charts great.

  14. Excellent lads. Matt spot on with everything, as usual. Would love to see him as a regular next year. Or maybe 3 or 4 times in the season.

  15. Just a thought. MotoGP podcasters coming together for a 2hrs show, annually, right after the teams presentations are done and the new season is ready to kickoff. Around late Feb or early March. To talk about the upcoming season and MotoGP backstage stuff.

  16. Must rate as the best Podcast yet, and all the others have been so good ! Mat was a bit nervous at first but soon got into his stride.
Wonderful insight into all things MotoGP, you must get him back for part 2. Great to listen to and respect to you all.

  17. There is no use for aero on road bikes. I completely understand the Japanese reluctance to spend up on it. Not enough track bikes to sustain sales.
