Will I be able to navigate the course without it, or will this mishap cost me a shot at qualification?

I feel your pain, Gabby! I've also experienced losing a rangefinder and this was a Garmin model that was worth more than $450. Good job keeping yourself focused on the game. I use two sources for distance measurement – Grint app and my rangefinder so I hope that you're also able to use a golf app as backup.
Nice qualifier. Double bogies are hard to swallow for everyone! Love the positivity bounce back. I also like the point system for a qualifying round.
