  1. Typical Kentucky football. Beat a bunch of poor teams in non conference. Get to SEC play and they are in the bottom half of the conference. Mark Stoops is not worth his contract.

  2. I don’t think coach Stoops wants to be here anymore. I just get the feeling he is not giving 100%.

  3. No hunger or desire from this years team. Mark stoops has gotten too comfortable & complacent, & these same energies echo through the team / program.

  4. This team reminds me of the last couple years basketball team. Teams got the blueprint on how to beat us, put Oscar in pick and roll and no adjustments were made. Football is we're loading the box until you find another way to beat us. And it's so obvious but still no adjustments.

  5. It’s time for Kentucky to go out and get a big time coach or this is what our program is going to be no matter the players.

  6. It’s frustrating mostly because it’s obvious these guys have wayyyy more potential than has been shown explicitly during this season .. I think the confidence is great but the problem is they are not really buying it moreso just going through the motions

I’d be brining in motivational speakers outside the program to try and get through to them .. I’ve said it a few times but a guy like Antonio Brown would actually be a great mentor in my opinion.. yea he has baggage but he also has allot to prove and in more than one way parallels the identity of this team .. lean into your fears and have them become strengths

  7. If we win, all the negative comments mean zero.. problem is , no disciplne , no consistency, no fight , all on coaching , and they know it , but , they need to fix it quick , or Kroger field will be a sea of empty chairs ..

  8. No, we don't have better players than Missouri. We're just told we do by the people who are covering up for the train wreck this program has become. We are an SEC bottom tier team.

  9. Embarrassed against Georgia and then it continues embarrassed! Pride followed after Florida with pride continued and goes before destruction and a haughty attitude before a fall.

  10. Missouri's offense wanted to win more than Kentucky's defense. The latter is as good excuse as any. Mathew, there's a nasty truth that you didn't talk about and it doesnt have any thing to do with who is the head coach. What happend Saturday is a "general rule" that meanders to and fro 108 years of Kentucky football. Sure there's the 1949, 1950, and 1951 seasons, but even one of those was just 8-4 and then it was right back to the "general rule"…that is until the 1977, 10-1 season that had scandal wrappings all around. And then it was right back to the " general rule". We have to wait till the 2021 season for a 10-3 which ended in a citrus bowl win. It simply factors down to these three letters : SEC. It really is that stupid.

  11. Is it as simple as a boot camp at practice this week to toughen them up emotionally? Like having grad assistants out there to insult their moms or something during every snap?

  12. What we witnessed on that field for this game was just pure trash. 11 years and 9 million a year and this is the undisciplined trash we get. I’m not sure they win another game this year.

  13. We have a player problem, we have a coaching problem, i don’t know where they go from here. Coen needs to make a change of some kind to this offense, but is all talk. Brad Whites pass defense is laughable. But Stoops doesn’t want to discipline his players. They are too weak and soft.

  14. This game truly did put into perspective of who KY football really is. We are a pretty good mediocre team that plays tough-nose football from time to time. What we are is an inconsistent team that always strives to make a bowl game at the end of the year. That’s it – nothing more nothing less, and we pay dearly to have that possible bowl game with a coach that makes 9 mil a year. I guess I just don’t understand why we pay so much to understand in the end that our identity has been set for a long time with the expectations of mediocrity.

  15. Stoops peaked in his coaching ability, and recruiting, his best season was the east's worst seasons minus Georgia. He got us to an average sec team, just hope the next coach is actually a step up, not another coordinator looking for UKs free experience and large check.

  16. Mark Stoops averages 7-5 every year and is sub 500 in league play. He's plateaued. That's not mentioning the fact the OC position has been a revolving door his whole tenure and mostly failures there. It's time to look to see what else is out there.

  17. UK fan for 40+ years. The last two games, frankly, we have had some kids play like a bunch of thugs. Stoops needs to tell some of these kids doing these things this is not boxing or the damn WWE … it’s Fing football. Clocking people 5 mins after the whistle is not part of the game. They are hurting the team with this sheer stupidity. Play the game right or sit on the bench.

  18. Davis and Trevin Wallace are the real deal (boy did we miss Wallace last game). Not sure what has happened to the revivers and Leary is a mere shadow of what he was at NC State.

  19. We are a bad football team. And the worst part about it, is that we have the WORST level of mental toughness of the mark stoops era. We make one mistake and an entire drive is ruined. We have a bunch of childish cowards who will cheap shot players after the whistle instead of being physical between the whistles… I know that success is not linear, but we are not improving as a program, we are getting worse. And it is a character issue among the players. Coaches aren’t doing great, but our players get punched in the mouth and they fold like a plastic Walmart lawn chair… you cannot coach character, or mental toughness… and our group has proven time and time again.

Add to the fact that we do this every season, we play Mac nobodies and c-USA all stars 3 games in a row, play vandy, who’s sorry, play a VERY bad Florida, and we think we’re somebody. WAKE UP BBN….We ain’t a worth a damn. Again.

  20. Agree 100% Not going to say more because im still in my feelings about that last game 😢 lol

  21. Better players than Missouri….? RB and D line… maybe but Mizzou has them beat at QB, WR and secondary for sure.
