I get where nick is coming from, but there’s a difference between Giannis getting criticized before his 1st ring and jokic. Giannis had clear holes in his game (and frankly still has a lot of them) that we’re getting exposed in the playoffs and although he was getting really lucky the first few series, in the finals, he finally seemed to take that step forward where it looked like he finally figured it out.
For jokic, there wasn’t holes or issues with his game, unlike Giannis, he had an already thin team that was crippled by injury. It wasn’t an issue with jokic, it was him not having a team around him, and the first season he got a supporting cast worthy of a contender, he smashed the playoffs on route to a title.
If Jokic is top 25 how good will he end up being? I think he is 28 right now.
Crazy how Wildes called Denver winning the title before the year started, along with them also not being a popular pick. He should’ve flexed it to the level Nick or Broussard would.

Jokic is like Bird. Unathletic and average 1v1 defender but a great team defender and all-time great at everything else.

Jokic is, at this point and IMO, the best center in NBA history.
More, he's the MOST COMPLETE player in NBA history.
Russell, Kareem, and few others might have MORE achievements (namely titles) – but a) Jokic is JUST entering his prime, and b) Basketball skill/iq/etc wise – Jokic reigns supreme.
For more than one on that list – I can appreciate dominance, physicality, etc etc – but "greatest" can't be the ones that can't shoot the basketball worth a lick. It is a game of basketball, after all.
