  1. Good stuff. Thanks for focusing on tips for geezers. I'm 69 and have been playing since the age of 13. For me the grip is the thing that I have to always work on. In my early years of golf I had a weak grip and I still find myself sliding back into that mode. With a stronger left hand grip(righty) my shots are more solid. But all the tips you mention are good and something we all need to review every now and then.

Bring on the 5 best tips for putting. I have always been a below average putter. Bad putting then bleeds into the rest of the game.

  2. Great tips. But the fourth one where you are advising to shift weight back may cause some senior golfers to struggle to bring the weight back to lead feet, causing the obvious fat shot. So I generally follow and advise senior golfers to raise their back foot toe in back swing for better rotation in down swing. Am an ameteur golfer and totally self learnt. Currently playing at 25 handicap after playing for 1.5 years. But I must say, I really like your videos.

  3. Experienced golfer from Michigan here, Todd! Two things: (1) I can't afford to pick up a Maxvert driver at the moment but I saw your video about increasing lie angle with driver. I have been trying to choke down slightly on the driver and raise the handle touch — results are encouraging (a bit straighter and a bit longer). QUESTION: will this technique work with other woods/hybrids/irons? (2) If I try to get my knees to touch on follow through I feel very out of balance. QUESTION: is this a normal feeling until I get used to it or is it more likely that I am getting too narrow in my stance in order to achieve touching knees?

    Really enjoying your channel! Thanks.

  4. As a senior golfer in Montreal, I really follow all your advice, it makes me a better golfer. My major weakness is my follow-through on the swing, but I'm working on it. On a side note, at the 5:00 minute mark on your video a one-legged golfer arrives at the driving range to practice. I was really impressed but not too sure how he manages.

  5. Hi Todd, Maurice from Toronto.

I am hopeful that you can give me some guidance regarding an element of the backswing.

I’ve practiced the routine that you teach whereby on my take back, Especially with my irons, I rotate my wrists counter clockwise, keeping the face slightly closed. It has definitely helped. My question is I’m not quite sure what my swing thought should be Regarding my wrists movement as I elevate the club above parallel on my way to the top.

Lastly, I want to thank you so much for the tip Regarding elevating the hands at address with the driver. I started doing this several weeks ago and hit several drives 250 yards. I am 5’7” tall and 68 years old and my mates were blown away. I will never forget the exhilaration walking to my ball down the fairway, realizing that my next shot to the green was such an extraordinarily close one. What a great feeling!

  6. Todd I'm 74 years old and just really getting into playing golf and love it your video help me out alot but I'm still a little confused on ball position with an iron I've been doing most of my shot with a 6 iron. one of your videos say to center the ball in my stanch now I watched a video last week that told me to have my trail foot slightly further back, it didn't work for I started topping the ball please advise which I should work on more.

  7. Hi Todd I forgot to tell you I'm from Hinckley,Mn so my golfing season is coming to close but can you also advise me on some good exercises I can do during the winter month to keep my arms in shape and improve my twisting ability

  8. I agree…good stuff. I am 68 and have been playing since I was 58. I shoot in the mid-80s and my biggest issue is consistency. Your tips do help me with that, when I focus on them and not on the poor shot I just made….
