The new Skoda Superb we’ve tested has a 2.0 TSI engine with 272 HP in stock. The same engine is also used in the current Passat and will be used among other Volkswagen models.
The Superb is basically the bigger sibling of the VW Passat and with our RaceChip GTS Black the 2.0 TSI engine becomes a lot more powerful. With now 340 HP it has more power than a Golf R in stock conditions, which should make it very interesting to see how the Skoda performs in our acceleration test from 100 – 200 km/h. Will this be as fast as a Golf GTI considering its weight?
