Defending champion Shane Lowry returns to Wentworth Club to continue his final preparations for the Ryder Cup with a strong title defence in Surrey. It is not just Lowry that is in full swing to prepare for the Ryde Cup, as all 12 of Team Europe’s members are playing in this year’s BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIPS. They will be joined at the Surrey venue by a host of global players including Australian Major Champion Adam Scott, 2021 BMW PGA Championship winner Billy Horschel and PGA TOUR winner Tom Kim, who is making his debut alongside American Tom Hoge.
The Swede takes a two-shot lead into the final round after a 66, ensuring he is in pole position to make it two DP World Tour wins in as many starts.
