On almost every video I get a comment about “bringing back the mountain biking videos”. This is usually from a viewer yearning for the old days where me and some friends would hit the trails and document the experience. Today, we’ll talk about why I rarely do that anymore—with a mountain bike ride as the backdrop!

we need more of these
Your hack videos are my favorites. Always useful.
Your videos don't show up on my homepage anymore so when I remember you exist I come to both your channels and binge all the content I've missed.
One name that killed a lot of the amatures…remy metailler
There can be a difference between content that gets clicks and content that builds and maintains an audience.
i didn't know you mountain bike with popeye, his forearms are crazy 😂
I'm gonna be honest, I don't ride MTB. Maybe one of these days, but I always loved your videos because of your ability to tell a story. The birth of the Murder Machine is one of my favorite videos because it tells a story of your descent into madness. Kidding, of course. It tells a story of triumph, making mistakes, and a little glimpse into moments where things just work out. Even with stuff like building your shop, it tells a story and I also just find it very entertaining to watch you work. So, even if I don't watch your videos as religiously as I used to, I still come back and check out your stuff from time to time. It's just very comfortable to sit down and watch one of your videos.
If I want to watch riding BKXC is my guy. Puts me right to sleep
I like how you two are REAL in the commentary
Would you ever consider having a second or third channel like Jordan boostmaster
Where it’s just a raw ride channel
Even if you barley upload I would watch every video
I’m constantly going back and watching your old ride videos
Like
You testing your new syncr carbon with Eric porter and getting 100 flats
Or you going to whistler to ride with Jordan
Or your riding with Alex at pisga on walmart bikes
Miss those videos
Those were my favourites
I like all of it. Trail builds, puppers, friend visits, hacks, bike flipping and building for friends, avocado toast and product reviews. It’s all dope so keep doing what makes you happy and for what you have time for.
I feel like it's difficult to only watch a certain type of videos of a content creator without feeling at least a bit of guilt about not watching their other stuff.
I like trail building/designing videos the most, but I've also binged my fair share of trail riding videos. Aside from that I know it's outside of my range of interest or I simply don't have the time.
While I like the content creator(s) and want to see them thrive, I know I'm not giving them the algorithmic engagement they require to do so by only watching a bit or watching occasionally. I haven't really thought about the influence of "the Algorithm" on the viewer experience before so I hope someone can relate.
Your channel is entertaining no matter the content. Just enjoyable and interesting.
That was a really fun day of riding, we need to do it wayyyy more often! I'm gonna have to come back out to ride the trail now that it's firmed up and running fast too!
Seth my friend let’s just say what it is we are getting old my friend lol
I really enjoy you videos. Even your trail riding videos are great, you take some time to discuss the features and details, I really like that. I can't decide if my favorites are the bike build ups or the trail building, the shop building videos are a close.
Hey, Seth! You should start a podcast! (And you could call it "Berm Podcast", or "The Berm Peak Podcast" or something else). And you could interview riders and talk about different struggles and other interesting stuff about making your videos! I saw your comment down below and all of your insight in this video on taking care of your family while sustaining your family, and I really admire your maturity and your setting your priorities straight. And that's my idea for a way you can make more content from your home. Have a great day and happy trails!
trails suck, go xc
Full finger gloves seem a good idea.
Hello from Costa Rica!! Just ride for fun!!
Seth, you fucking Genius!!😂
Fully support your decision. Family should always come first.
I like seeing you ride trails and do builds but i understand why you don't ride trails anymore
