Golf Players

Tour Players are RAVING ABOUT THIS device!

I test the golf tech that PGA, LPGA and Tour players are using to hit it longer, straighter and closer.

  1. Kind of surprised it costs that much more than a basic hack motion. Have you reviewed the hack motion? Been eyeing that for a bit

  2. Interesting. It looks like it might help with some of my issues. I just wish these things were in a more realistic price range. This probably will come down over time.

  3. Ouch $700. Maybe if it was a complete watch like a garmin and not just for practice one might consider it, but for that price it's a hard pass.

  4. $199-$250 is the sweet spot. Beyond that absolutely not worth it. $700 is laughable overpriced junk. Don’t care what data it provides

  5. This device and the HackMotion are very intriguing. Thanks for another great and informative review.

  6. For years I've used the now-discontinued Suunto G6 golf watch. It measures tempo, backswing length, and would approximate swing speed based on the club selected. For years it was an amazing tool, and I've been waiting for someone to create a new wearable. This might be it, but the price is pretty steep.

  7. Nice but the average golfer guy ,like me, isn't going to spend $699 for a training device

  8. Solid review. Solid video and great tech. Can yiou wear this device on your trail hand instead of the front hand? I'm interested in the HackMotion device which could show my wrist inflection and paired with this device i could see the real movement of arms, and wrists.

  9. I got this as a gift. Love it. But it can be overwhelming at first. Gabe, you mention and show the "on course" mode which I do not have on my (latest version installed) Dewiz app …hmmmm . I am surprised you didn't go into the stimuli feature. Keep the videos coming!

  10. I bought the DeWiz early on. The first model was not working correctly so they replaced it. I bought it to help me shorten a long back swing, dial in my wedges, and flatten my swing. It worked for 1 out of 3 – wedge swings. Otherwise, it was not helpful and far too expensive to not be all that and a can of soup!

  11. Because deWiz is monitoring this thread, I have a question for them. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have the Suunto G6 watch. It is no longer being manufactured, and this is my third (and likely last) one. I use it to measure length of backswing, tempo (along with speed of back swing and down swing), and swing speed (you can change your club setting to get that). I value most tempo and backswing length. My question: what would you say is the value proposition to switch devices? (I don't care about the price, btw.) What will I be glad to have when I switch to the deWiz?

  12. This is why I love your channel. You are always doing in depth demonstrations on products I never heard of, but suddenly can’t live without!😂 Great video Gabe…..

  13. A few years back I had a GSA device that clipped to the back of my glove and had similar functionality. I seem to remember it cost in the region of $100-150. Much more sensible pricing. I may just dig it out again…….

  14. Its £560 in the UK, that is 20 lessons with a Pro!! The Skypro Swing Analyzer did all this and alot more fir $200 but for some crazy reason they have discontinued its manufacture, still have mine but if it ever dies I am lost. Bring back the Skypro

  15. Hi Gabe, love this channel, your enthusiasm is so refreshing. I just watched your how to shoot lower in golf. Anyway my question to you how did you figure out your distances with each club. I use a rangefinder at the range i can see how far the targets are but the balls at say a 7 iron distance i cant really tell where they are landing and how far they roll. so what ive done all my golfing life is just add 10-to 15 yards for each club because i know i hit my sand wedge with a full swing 75 Yards. I cant really afford one of those high dollar simulators. you should do a video on this subject….thanx John (USN Retired)

  16. How is it possible that you hit a draw when ur over the top? That’s breaking the ball flight laws. I looked at ur screen and it’s not like it was a pull hook. It started straight and drew. If u actually came over the top it should start left and draw further left. Unless u have an open face, in which case it’ll curve right. Have you compared it with your bushnell or skytrak+ to see if the club path matches up?
