Full, indexed highlights of Rasmus Dahlin’s remarkable 22-23 campaign, in which he scored 73 points and significantly improved all areas of his game.
As the most anticipated young defenseman to enter the game in over 15 years, Rasmus Dahlin joined the league at only 18 years of age; a feat virtually unheard of in the modern NHL. His skating prowess and deftness with the puck were immediately evident, but defending against men twice one’s age is a struggle even for a 1st overall phenom. He continued to make gains every season, but in more ways than one, his fifth in the NHL felt like an official arrival.
The Trollhättan, Sweden native scored 73 points in 78 games, placing him fifth in the NHL, and he improved his play considerably in all three zones. A truly singular talent, Dahlin does things on the ice that no defenseman has done before. He may sometimes appear indifferent to conventions—or even wholly uninvolved—but underlying that insouciance is an edge and competitive intensity that’s sure to make his Buffalo Sabres a serious (and highly entertaining) contender in the very near future.

A great compilation, but you left out THE play of the season, when Dahlin lofted a pass up to Dylan Cozens in overtime for the game-winning goal on the night Ryan Miller's #30 was retired!
Niklas Kronwall with more offensive skill
Why didn’t you end the vid with Ras smashing Matthews in the Heritage Classic? Matthews couldn’t handle that smoke!
Your videos are just as impressive as the highlights
This dude is unreal! He’s the player everyone wishes they could be.
Great job with this video btw
Love the rendition.
Next: Norris
Dude is textbook defensively in every aspect while being completely unorthodox in how he manages the blue line in the offensive zone. He’s special.
Insain best breakdown I’ve seen of him been watching since he was drafted and I’m so glad to see he was in the running for the Norris. Keep doing what your doing…
Where was the Dahlin to Cozens OT winner in the Maestro's Reach section?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukE1ZwBr7bw
Reeally good video
Rembrandt on skates over here, the man is truly an artist. the Russians call hockey "the beautiful game", and Rasmus Dahlin demonstrates that every night. we are lucky to have him here in Buffalo, and he is well-loved. Thanks for the post and guys, we are almost there! hockey season soon!!!

Thank you for this, it was the most fun I had watching a "highlight reel" in some time. This was well-edited, the music was awesome, and even when the clip was of the Sabres losing big, Mr. Dahlin was still playing tough.
Here along the Lake, we appreciate our number one draft pick, and now with the addition of Owen Power on defense and Devon Levi in net, we are looking to get a more positive goal differential to assist in propelling the team into the upcoming playoffs.
I appreciate the time and effort you put into creating and posting, I would like to ask about your avatar, candy, or fungus?
Bro absolutely hornswoggled that first guy😂😂😂😂
Between Dahlin and Power, the Sabres will be good, good shape in the coming years..
What puck control! Wow
beautiful video
Any chance you can do some completes of forwards? So many Ds covered already😂
Great video. Thank you so much.
the next big one for the next 6-7 years
if dahls improve his stamina, explosivity and shot this year, he is a norris top 3 candidate.
I was so excited to see his game translate when he got drafted and I love that it finally is
Absolutely love this video, hope it does well
Thanks for these highlights.. Heja Frölunda
Out there making people look stupid. I love it
What a great video
This video is awesome! I don’t think people realize the hype for Dahlin in his draft year is holding up! He quietly is becoming what he was drafted to be. I think if it wasn’t for buffalos revolving door at head coach and for guys like Makar having unreal stats since day 1 Dahlin would be recognized
This is such a great way to put together a highlight video
I love the guy, but at running an attacker in to your own goalie at 1:48 is a poor decision.
Best Dahlin highlight video I’ve seen yet!
You truly have a talent to tell a character story through your editing and the choice of your clips. The fact that you keep a wide variety of highlights and not just goals shows that you are invested in the player you're trying to show. I'm a new fan of your craft, and i'll be waiting for more videos. And don't worry, your channel will blow up sooner than later.
Fantastic edit
Probably the most underrated blue liner in the league.
this is fantastic
Those were normal in the 80s
Heiskanen>>>>
wow
video editing here is just an art
Always doing the unexpectable, impossible to read, incredible talent. its Rasmus Dahlin.
This kid is fantastic. Too bad he's on Buffalo
Never gets old seeing Dahlin's movement at the point. He's almost certainly the best game driver at the blueline. He's got the shot, the vision, the discipline. And he's got the economy of movement. He doesn't move more than he has to. Doesn't overcommit. Adjusts and tweaks at the feet. It's fuckin mesmerizing.
Pretty high concept for a highlight video lol, really dug this
Fantastic video!!!
