  1. Thank you for your video and I shot my best round @79 after watching 1 video . What amazing is if you could recording a round of golf using all the techniques on the video I like to see what is your score is like 👍

  2. I tried the straight stick. If you hold the club above your head and drop it, it clicks if you hit the ground. Has nothing to do with swing. Just if you hit the ground. They did refund my money

  3. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I wouldn't be surprised if Bob Ross is a distant relative of yours 😂 You have a perfect balance of being tremendously helpful and have a knack for taking something complex and making it simple. Anytime I have a stressful day, your videos help center me again. Love it!

When you mention bringing the club back lower over your trail shoulder instead of being up so high like many videos coach, is that to help us move towards a 1 plane swing & remove the extra variables? Or like a 1.5 plane swing? Or do I have my non-exceptional glasses on & I'm overlooking something?

Thank you for all that you do!

  4. You are the best, practical golf teacher in the universe. Love your style and the simplicity and practical approach. I started golf this year and after watching your videos, my contact to ball is becoming crispier everyday. I am looking for details on the golf caddie you use to measure club speed and distance. Can you share the link where I can get it?

  5. Just getting back into golf after about 25 years. Still had same bad habits. Figured no time like now to attempt to completely retool my swing. The wonders of You Tube I found your instructions. Watched any i could find, then, this past Sunday found this one; it's like it pulled it altogether. So on Monday went out to a course I knew wouldn't be busy, and really focused on these steps, being sure to start easy. There were at the most 8 people on the course, so never rushed, I was able to basically use the course like a range. Absolutely floored by some of the shots I made.

So today I meet a friend for nine after work at a real golf course. A couple 8s in the middle holes spoiled over all score, but I shot par on #2 (a par 3). On #3, second shot I hit a 5 iron 187 yards onto the green. It was a fairly tight green, I actually chose the 5 hoping just for the wider landing area in front of the green. I have to say it, that 5 iron shot was crispy! I have never hit a 5 like that. Two putt to par. I ended with a par on the par 5 #9 after a not so great drive, followed by two crispy irons, and a chip and a putt.

Tom, I just turned 61 and I never thought I would hit shots like I have these last two rounds. You flipped my game around. There is work to be done, but it will be fun!

  6. Hi Tom been watching your videos for a while now absolutely brilliant!, Do you keep ball position the same for all irons ??

  7. Hi Tom,
I have been watching your videos now for several months and along with a few bumps my game has improved considerably from your tips.
Lately I watched your video about pointing your left shoulder down and also about moving the shoulders and hips back and through, those swing tips helped my shot striking a lot.
To improve I think it also important to really practice those tips.
Anyhow I just finished the World Am here in Myrtle Beach and this year had my best finish ever, tied for 3rd in my field.
Of course I was putting well which made a big difference but you need to get to the green first.
Thanks Tom for all your great videos.

  8. You were swinging 2 clubs for a while there. You almost showed us your putter. Lamo. Tom, you are a funny man.

  9. Tom your videos have helped me more than any other teacher on YouTube. Your driver video fully corrected my slice and I still can’t believe it. Thanks for what you do man and please keep doing it.

  10. I've watched a lot of your videos but you lost me on the straight stick. I've seen videos proof that this is a bs gimmick.

  11. I've had so many lessons I've lost count yet I haven't improved my consistency. Weight forward really is the key. I actually have a limp from that much practice but staying on my back foot. While I didn't shoot the lights out today I finished my round with less pain in my trail foot and my hip flexors don't ache from hip spinning my way around the course. My ball striking was greatly improved with only some minor face control issues (rolling forearms) causing me some trouble.
Also focussing on left shoulder down made it so easy.
    Cheers big fella.

  12. So, the way my mind works, unfortunately, is I need a series of steps to duplicate until I do not have to think.
Adding this video to some of your other ones, I think I'll concentrate on the first three on this list, but so many piece…

    1. Weight 55-45 (ish) forward- and stays there!
    2. Left arm straight – to establish a repeatable low point.

    3. Point lead shoulder at ball during back sing – to maintain relationship to the low point.

    4. Hands inside and lower during back swing.
    5. Right arm tucked during down swing.
    6. Extend arms through
    7. Head behind ball at strike.

    8.
    9.
    10. LOL – What a horrible sport for someone like me.
