I take a lesson to gain more distance – the key to effortless power

Hey y’all! I took a golf lesson with Zach to gain more distance. In this lesson he teaches me the importance of the lower body, and the key to generating more speed. Make sure to stay until the end for a few drills that will help us engage our lower body.

  4. Just found your channel love your swing and mentality! I’m down in DFW fairly often, I’ll have to check lessons out!

  5. Just found your channel and loving watching your progression. My best shots are when I get the left leg doing the right thing, the shoulders, arms and club seem to just do the right thing after that.

  6. Great instruction! Your arms look very free in your swing. To me this swing looks much more relaxed and natural than the heavily tilted rotary swing, that requires a very open impact position that I see GG and Milo teach. I like this.

  7. Am I seeing things or are there dudes just hanging out in the way right in front of you at 4:29 ?

  8. I never knew the pros lifted heel. I tried this on the range today as a swing thought and it instantly improved my ball striking and turned my slight fade into a penetrating draw. Thank you!!!!!

  9. This video I found very helpful. I've always turned with my upper body first and not using my legs enough. I will definitely practice getting my arms moving first and getting my left leg straight. Thanks!

  10. Great video again , thanks Ernie for sharing your lessons with us . Greetings from Antwerp ( Belgium )

  11. Honestly I’ve been watching instructors on YouTube and been taking lessons for 10 years now and I’ve never heard a more knowledgeable instructor then Zach!

  12. Every single sport starts with foot work. The better the footwork the better the result. Golf is no different. This is a pro tip in my opinion.

  13. Which feel or thought clicked best for you that fixed your path? Swing looks great btw
