Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc recently got to drive Michael Schumacher’s championship-winning Ferrari F2003-GA at the Yas Marina circuit that hosts the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and he DID NOT hold back! Check out his onboard lap, which was only 3 seconds slower than the fastest lap from the 2022 Abu Dhabi GP

mad props for that
๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฟthat car on proper tyres, in full race mode would make a show of todays cars, give the man a couple of days proper testing in it and then see what he could do๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I would imagine the V10 cars would actually be faster if trimmed to perfection nowadays. They are so much lighter, more agile, with today's standard of downforce their cornering speeds would be incredible and because old cars never had slicks fitted to them, they would have even more incredible records back then. I hope this gets true with e-fuels because as of now electric engines are not faster in racing due to the weight gained by the battery components
not every day that he gets to drive a good ferrari
Finally at long last we saw this car on slicks
Imagine the BILLIONS of dollars wasted in those 20 years of "development" and the cars are still slower ๐ Tyre technology alone should be worth 5 seconds a lap, really shows how weak the v6 toys are
Might physically be 8 seconds off pole but looks 20 seconds faster
I wanna know his input on the difference in how the v10 felt without having modern downforce tech on it and also was it trippy goin that fast with no halo ๐ณ…I listened to thus about 100x that v10 bisssshhhhhhhh please hybrid era is cool good great but v10 is a gift from the gawds!!!!
Pure beauty
You can hear that the engine is low power
Maybe a better option than the SF-23 ๐
On a demonstration Pirelli tyres not soft as it looks
Charles + Ferrari F1 = ๐ฉ
WE NEED V10 AGAIN AND REV LIMITER A 19500 RPM INSTEAD OF 12000RPM
That engine sound is a symphony.
Probably crashed that as well
The only thing better than the sound of one of these on the track is 20 of them
It's my wish to see old V12s, V10s VS new 2020-2023 era F1 cars
People crying to bring back the V10s in 3…2…1…
Went for it yes, but this isn't the limit of that car. It'll never be driven in anger again in full qualifying mode. Once the season finishes you know that years car will never reach it's limit again
It even has full slicks
8 seconds behind but with 2 corners less in the first sector ๐ ๐
Would be interesting knowing max rpm in this test but i guess around 16k probably, far from its best. Beast noise anyway.
hermoso sonido v10
The new tire compound must help a lot.
Finally, he got a normal Ferrari
The noise is ๐
Even if an old car got wrecked i think thats better than not driving them to their potential. Its a race car.
Did he crash this one too?
I'm reminded of one time in 97…Murray asked Martin 'why is he going back out when his time will win?' (Jaques Villeneuve)…Martin's response 'Because he's a racing driver!' ๐
The V10s of the 2000s are the best F1 cars ever built in my humble opinion.
This is faster than the tractor Alpha Tauri
Schumacher in the F2004 would be new world champion 2024
oh the scream of a F1 V10car…
For the love of all that is holy, bring back the V10s
imagine he drives it at Monaco ๐
A true man of culture
V10+slick tire+drs= faster than w11
The sound! ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
I mean i was on modern pirelli slicks so i could be pushed beyond its normal limit than when its on the grooved slicks
Slick tires which were banned in 2003.
