Rattle Can Hydro Dipping 3 Wood Golf Club

This is the second (sober) installment of How To Give Your Clubs A Swirly!
I tried making a quick tutorial a few nights ago after throwing down a few mixed drinks, it didn’t come out the greatest so as promised I am doing a SOBER video. Here are a few tips that you will hear in the vid.

1. Make sure you use COOL tap water. If you are using a hose, run the water until its cool before filling up your dipping container. Hot water will make the paint dry on the surface almost instantly.

2. Enamel model paint works much better than rattle cans. WIth the rattle cans you get a lot of air bubbles in the paint, which end up on your clubs. They can be sanded down to be less obvious, but using model paint with a dropper lessens bubbles dramatically.

3. If you don’t like a glossy finish, you can lightly go over the paint with FINE steel wool after it dries, spray a matte clear coat, and lightly sand that again with FINE steel wool. This will give the paint depth while keeping the shine to a minimum.

4. Don’t Drink & Dip!
