TOTALLY WRONG…
NURSE ACTED BAD….
…
…LAST NOVEMBER….NOBODY PICK IT UP …ESPECIALLY MASAI AND WEBSTER…. SCREWED….UP…
THESE TWO BOYS SHOULD BE FLUSHED OUT…. TOO.!
GO RAPTORS GO 😅
He said these things because he wanted to leave
Coaches will never get any credit these days
“The players that were starting weren’t performing well enough?” Objectively, that’s simply untrue. Once Jakob arrived, the Raptors’ starting 5 was top 10 in both offence and defence. It was the completely lack of a bench that undid them. I do agree that NN “lost the room,” as they say. He’s a great coach, but personally I got tired of his yelling and complaining on the sidelines.
Nurse's head got too big! He's an above average coach but nothing special. The 2019 chip was mostly all luck going the Raptors way.
Nick nurse was great but we had no bench mob.
We won our championship because of our players especially Kawhi Leonard. Not Nike Nurse 😂
Lol nurse isn't the reason why the raptors won a championship
The only thing Nurse did was instill the Box & 1 defense. Everything else was Kawhi's pure skill and greatness & Kyle Lowry's pure bulldog attitude & leadership combined with plenty of luck along the way.
Nurse is massively overrated & will be out of the Sixers organization within two years.
Flynn sucks fyi, nurse knew better it’s pretty obvious
Nurse and Fred were at the right place at the right time.
Overrated.
He will be exposed in Philly.
Nikki Nurse is a win now coach not a rebuilding coach. He did great
He wasn't the reason we won at all. Our lineup was stacked, the best Raptors team I've ever seen. We were 2 lines deep….
Nick was lucky to pick up the team from Casey who made no adjustments ever. Nick was probably his best the first two seasons with us and then has just been awful ever since. He runs our best players 40+ mins all season long… which is why we had injury issues when we generally never have. Rookies fell through the cracks getting no minutes to garbage mins. He was outspoken aboout players to the media, which is just a really stupid/ignorant thing to do. I dislike the guy, his ego is too big. Only coach in the NBA with his own Brand rolls eyes
Dude was a narcissist who got lucky.
Sounds like burnout. No mention of issues between senior and jr players. Then Masai's favorites (Scottie & Koloko), different player role and responsibilities (experiments with point guards, jr center).
It’s sad to see people shit on Nurse and Masai. It could be 50 years before a Canadian team wins a championship in a major sport.
They once tried putting an American team or two
In their Football league. The Baltimore Stallions made the finals both years and won the cup their second season. That was the end of southern expansion.
I have nothing againts Nurse i thibk he brought a lot of good things to the raptors the only thing i cam say was the bench development
So many casuals in these comments saying Nick was never a good coach. Y’all just exposing how little you know about basketball
Nick nurse is trash . overrated
PG: Immanuel Quickley / Dennis Schroeder
SG: Gary Trent Jr / Gradey Dick
SF: Deandre Hunter / Tim Hardaway Jr
PF: Scottie Barnes / Chris Boucher
C: Jakob Poetl / Precious Achiuwa
It makes sense embiid gets the coach who only holds certain players accountable😂😂
Kawhi won the championship for Toronto. Everyone else on that team was just along for the ride.
Bro nick nurse was a good coach it’s crazy how negative raps fans are so negative all the time
SHOWING ARON BAYNES IS A SIN. DELETE.
He really was talking far too early about that. The season had not ended and he was not yet at lame duck status as he was still in the third year of a four year contract.
