I loved doing this in football. I was safety for 3 years on varsity, and was the smartest in the team so I was the one receiving plays from the coach. But if I chose to run an audible on defense, the coach would trust my decision and not get mad if I changed the play. It was beautiful, watching the faces on the offense as you tell your defense what is about to take place before it happens. A lot of these 😳.
