  1. What the f**k are they talking about?
"He had trouble throwing the ball." When, exactly? He had a PATHETIC Team around him, and not just on Offense…not just at WR, Offensive Line!! The Defense was putrid as well. They NEVER got the ball back for the Offense I good field position, and they constantly allowed long, sustained drives that almost always ended in points for the opposing Teams.
Fields didn't stand a chance in those first 6 games of 2023…

However, he DID WIN 2 of those 6 games against very good Teams.

But right about Game 7, Fields started to BALL OUT! He lead the entire NFL in QBR and TQBR from GMe 8 to Game 12 (5 straight games) and the Bears were the HIGHEST SCORING TEAM IN THE NFL in that 5 Game stretch.

"He is more like a RB that can throw a bit."
STFU. He NEVER ran the ball in College. He was a drop back, pass-first QB for his entire career, including his Rookie Season in the NFL.
So what, did he just suddenly decide to SET RECORDS AS A RUNNING QB in his 2nd season… IN THE NFL?!?
And nobody is overhyped JF1 except for us Bears fans.
NFL Analysts don't overly praise him, nor do they TRULY believe in him. They will say he has the potential, but… and then they list the reasons that he won't do great. And 99.99999% of the reasons that Fields might not do good in 2023 is that the Bears TEAM is still pretty below average.

Fields is gonna be very good. The question remains, can he be great?

    Yes! Yes he absolutely CAN!

  2. Bears fan here. While I agree everyone is getting a little bit ahead of themselves on the Fields hype, BUT when we discuss pocket-passing doesn't a pocket have to actually EXIST in the first place? Fields ran so much out of necessity because the O-Line was atrocious last year.

  3. So y’all not gonna bring up how he’s pretty much only played with scrubs for the O-Line and wide receiver position. People acting like fields can’t throw actually he can he was very good at it in college. Maybe they should actually watch his game before speaking on it.

  4. Aaron rodgers couldn’t pass out of the pocket with that team around him. He had no pocket. His receivers were 4s and 5s on most teams except for Mooney. Also new system were they completely changed his footwork along with pretty much garbage around him. He had to run. This narrative about he can’t throw is so off base. Would you trust EQ Saint brown on a number 1 CB that’s “nfl open”? Uh hell no. When he did- he made the right read and it was intercepted. It’s all a lazy narrative accepted by people who take cursory look at stars and not actual film.

  5. Dan Patrick absolutely hates Justin Fields, and I don't understand why. He used to get heated whenever someone disagreed with him about the Bears trading him. Did they forget he mostly passed at Ohio State and only ran because of the Bear's situation?

  6. What is Dan Patrick's deal with Fields? He's been an entire click bait driven jerk as of late

  7. 🎯 Justin Fields was an MVP Candidate last year, he had 1 Vote with the worst QB situation last year.

  8. I don’t think these idiots have seen the throws Fields HAS made … pretty much made both manning a jaw drop when they played the patriots which is the last game he played before the bears traded our two best defensive players

  9. I love the way these so called pundits act like Justin's college career didn't happen…. like he didn't have 60+ touchdowns against only 9 interceptions.
The whole "He can't throw" narrative is TOTAL CAP.

  10. It's ridiculous how these national talking head casuals speak as if they followed Da Bears since Justin Fields arrived in Chicago, These clown speak as if he's a bum without knowing the context wheich explains his stats. Stupid bullshit

  11. I think it's unfair to say that Fields struggled in the passing game. I think it's fair to say that the Bears struggled in the passing game as a whole. The oline was great at run blocking, but when it came to pass pro, it was a nightmare. There were times where inside and edge defenders got to Fields almost completely untouched. And no matter what stats people bring up about "time to throw" or whatever, if you watched those games, you saw how bad that oline was on almost every single pass play.

The Chicago Bears WR corps of 2022 was made up of special teamers/practice squaders if they played on any other team, and Darnell Mooney. The amount of key drops his WRs had was also pretty insane. With the addition of DJ Moore, and Chase Claypool getting a full offseason, I think we're going to see a much improved WR group. And don't sleep on Tyler Scott. Rumblings from camp are saying that he's a very impressive young player(Yeah, I know, camp…).

Fields himself held onto the ball too long. He also needs to rely on the short passing game more often(and be more accurate with short passes), instead of always looking for a home run. He definitely shares some of the blame. Here's to hoping that year 2 in Getsy's system along with an improved oline and improved WR and TE(Tonyan) options help bring him along.

I already think he's a star, but the 2023 season is going to see him become a superstar if the things I mentioned above come to fruition. Hold onto your butts. 2023 is going to be fun for Bears fans.

  12. Too much “love” 🥴 THEY WANT PEOPLE TO HATE HIM SO BAD 😮‍💨😆

  13. Fields was the Bears last year. They were 1-7 in one score games last year and the only reason they won any games is because of Justin. The man has been a Top 2 QB prospect his whole life from pee wee to college now he can't throw. And don't forget this is his second offense in 3 years 1st year in the same system with better players. He may not win the MVP this year but y'all will eat y'all words on Fields he's got too much talent.

  14. Justin Fields was one of the best passers in NCAA history; what he was lacking these past few years was a good oline and WR group. This year he has no more excuses.
