Marc Ó Sé on drowning his sorrows, what Kerry are missing and some Páidí Ó Sé classics

Kerry legend Marc Ó Sé joined Lee Costello and Niall McIntyre in studio to discuss his county’s loss to Dublin in the All-Ireland senior football final.

The GAA JOE All-Star Football Team of the Year 2023 has officially been named, and as we all know, this accolade is the highest honour you can get.

Unlike the RTE All-Stars, we try to pick the team based on performances throughout the year, and some massive calls had to be made.

Many more deserved to be on the team, and some can count themselves unlucky not to be, but those who did make this starting line-up have made it on merit.

Dublin are the All-Ireland champions once again, and take lions share of this team, but there is still room for representatives from Kerry, Derry and Monaghan.

  1. I found it a strange All irl final…it was good football but was missing something. Maybe the Time…Sept suits culchies better, sure the Hay still has to be cut . That's work…and they frown on that in the kingdom..

  2. Kerry led by 3 points twice in that 2nd half. Should have gotten over the line. Few adjustments next year and they'll definitely be back in All Ireland final. Rumor has Mark O Conor is going to come back from the Geelong Cats. If he's driving Kerry from midfield Sean O Se and David Clifford will be even more dangerous

  3. Why is David Clifford left stuck in the corner? He played centre field as a minor. He has the physique and the talent to play anywhere. Much easier to manage him in the corner.

  4. The Dubs have the hoodoo over Kerry. Tyrone have as well. Kerry just win the handy All Irelands 😂

  5. Facts off the matter….Kerry haven’t beaten any of their contemporaries in an AL final in recent times…Tyrone, Armagh or Dublin….they’ll be ready for those soft All Irelands though

  6. Kerry men will will always head for the door when they lose and head for home as fast as they can

  7. Good man Mark, you’re a true sportsman. Fair play a brilliant analysis of the game. Fair, balanced and honest. You are a credit to the game!!
