  1. I get very hungry after cardio, basically eating back all the calories I’ve burned and most likely even more. I think people should do both, but not rely on either for weight loss!

  2. Everyone wants to believe the other guy, because it makes life easier. But easier isn’t right.

  3. Currently lowered my daily cals from 3000 plus (addicted to food) to 2000 i try and just get the 150 mins of cardio a week

I find after doing cardio in the morning and having a larger meal first thing around 1200 cals with enough fat and protien makes it fine for the rest of the day. This way i eat a smaller tea and the hunger keeps away. It makes it a lot easier to keep around 2000-2200 cals per day

Its not a huge deficit but i dont feel hungry all day and it feels substanable

  4. I still don't understand where Sean gets his credibility, I've only seen videos of him going after other fitness youtubers some of them deserved but others just seems like it was to build his brand.

  5. I’m doing cardio as I’m watching this. I agree completely. I always come back and watch this video when I’m on a cut. Always helps. Erik the electric eats so much food…Very impressive btw. However, he stays in good shape because he does a so much cardio.

  6. I got nervous when I saw the title of this video, because Sean is my go too for info. But it feels like you didn’t actually listen to a thing he said and are arguing against things he never said…

  7. This discussion isn't whether or not cardio helps or not it obviously helps

It's a mather of "if your objective is to lose weight and you are only do 1 thing cardio or moderate your eating", then eating beasts cardio by a lot

    Anyway you should do both

  8. Your cardio seems to be opening your mouth and not your ears.
OK call someone out if they say something wrong, but..
make sure you heard it correct first.

  9. i don't understand people that make this claim. carry something heavy and feel your heart race. FEEEElll your anus CLENCH and THROB

  10. Obviously every person may be different but for myself I can understand and relaito whst you are saying. Ever since I started daily 10k steps I've only increased my steps.

My enwrgy used has slightly raised, but my BMR is decreasing as I lose weight. That doesn't mean I'm not weight lifting but that building muscle. Cardio is actually burning the fat and is actually increasing my performance over a long period of time.

  11. i seen peoples resaults for weight sesion so bench dead squat those type thing and for 90mins over 2500 calories i just struggle to understand how they can burn that much from weight

  12. Actually the higher your muscle mass, the higher your BMR. A higher BMR is more effective for burning your daily caloric intake than cardio ever will. No one wants to spend 3 hours on a treadmill to burn off one cheeseburger. I agree with Sean, cardio is great, but strength training combined with a good diet is probably more effective in the long run.

  13. I watched his video and I never got the impression that he was against cardio. What he's saying is that the best way to lose weight is to focus on your diet and be in a calorie deficit. The exercise (both resistance and cardio) help but if you keep eating more calories than you burn, you're not going to lose any fat no matter how much cardio you do every week. He never once said to not do cardio and in some of his videos he's even encouraged people to do it!

  14. People who do more cardio than resistance training tend to lose weight more easily but will also find it harder to keep that weight off, even with as little as a few weeks of inactivity, than people who do more resistance training. Just my observation.

  15. I agree cardio is underrated not overrated, but he never said lifting wieghts burns a lot of calories 😂
