  1. Ah well, dems the brakes. So who do we root for now. I'm gonna say Sweden v England final, and I'm gonna enjoy watching Columbia and Spain along the way.
Better luck next time gals, I think the pay dispute disrupted your karma.

  2. Jordyn Huitema, 0 goals, 0 assists 0 power, 0 aggressiveness, 0 skill, 0 presence on the field in every single game she has ever played.
And she is a forward that canada told us is a star.
Why is she so privileged to always start??

  3. I bet Christine Sinclair is mumbling, "I should've made that penalty against Nigeria."

Now, Sinclair and Canada have to focus on their November two-legged playoff tie against Jamaica.

If the Canada WNT fail to beat Jamaica over two legs, they won't defend their Olympic gold medal in Paris 2024.

  4. The lack of club minutes could surely be a factor.
Yet I think that perhaps the main problem with Canada's team is that soccer in Canada, at least at the professional level, is usually not as alluring to young athletic prospects as hockey or other winter sports.
And there's the fact that Canada's population is way smaller than the US's (as an example) and the University level soccer tournaments might not be that competitive as in not really able to produce big numbers of high level soccer athletes.
This happens in men's soccer too (or at least used to)….. any time a small country's generation of athletes does great on the international level, usually it cannot be sustained simply because the odds are staked against that country when it comes to the next generation maintaining or improving the level of performance output.
Simply put : smaller population means a smaller pool of potential high level athletes…. and…. the player development system in Canada is not (or at least does not seem to be) up to the level of the best national teams on the planet.
Australia? They have the supporters surrounding them …. and…. they're playing good soccer.
Yet my favourites? Japan is playing great soccer. The Swedes are scary to watch.
Portugal is doing well. France is doing well. Colombia is a pleasurable surprise. The Dutch are always strong and so are the Americans.

  5. I totally agree with Caroline Salame's comments : once a soccer team loses control of the midfield area…. it's over. It's simply asking for a beating.

  6. Let's all wallow in our misery for now and live to cheer another day… I think… 😁 Will always ❤ CWNT ⚽🇨🇦

  7. Absolute humiliation. Reality is setting in that this team is just a ordinary team with no talents. This is no shock. Sinclair is old, slow, and has no skills left. Can't shoot, can't score, can't run, can't pass, slower than molasses yet she refused to retire. No young talent coming up. Future doesn't look bright for this team.

  8. this is why you play the game
the #1 favorite to win is going home a lot earlier then anyone expected.

  9. Having recent players on as analysts is a mistake; they are close friends with current players so are not going to be critical.

  10. Group of Death? Newcomer Ireland and Nigeria in your group? Seriously? Have you seen the group with France and Brazil? Netherlands and the United States (rematch of the 2019 FINAL). Canada won the Olympics with ZERO goals in run of play during the knockout stage and a horrible penalty shot by Sweden. They needed a gift penalty just to win the first game of the 2015 World Cup against China (not the China of the 1990s) in Canada. Thank your lucky stars you have that gifted gold from 2020.

  11. Australia scored first against Nigeria and lost – stop repeating that BS please about first scorer wins.

  12. Its pronounced political atmosphere, there, I corrected it for you.

  13. Canada, you just have to accept that you are a sporting Minnow

  14. Both the Canadian Men Women teams got Eliminated in group stage. They are nowhere near as good as The United States but y’all wanna talk shill 😂😂😂😂

  15. Don't forget AUS played without the world's no 1 striker she was injured, Sam Kerr so it could have been worse

  16. What a humble and honorable defeat to overrated Canada( rank 7). A draw with Nigeria(45), a lucky win Ireland(25) and a thrashing by Australia(13) hardly call the group the game of death!…..excuse, excuse and more excuse!

  17. I don't know what this lady is talking about. We do not have any dangerous players whatsoever. It's easy to sit there and say how great we are against less skilled teams, but the true greatness of a player is how they perform against the top teams. I would have loved to see Canada go up against Japan, France, Holland, Germany, Brazil and see how our so-called skillful players perform.

  18. I see 2 possibilities.
Option 1). They can't win, even with a PENIS on the team.
Option 2). Our lovely ladies deliberately threw the match. So as not to have to share the podium with a GMO in a Soccer Uniform.
Personally, i'm hoping for Option 2.

  19. A lacklustre performance. Canada played as if they were always one nil up.

  20. The coach is not competent and she should be fired. She is the responsible for our losses. Our team deserves a more competent coach.

  21. The coach and Sinclair are the two people who are responsible for these results. Putting Sinclair in the centerforward. Letting sinclair to shoot the penalty. I do not understand what is so special about her at this age . Sinclair did not have the necessary speed and strength.
