Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 Return!

Want to know everything Daniel Ricciardo got up to in his first F1 weekend back? Well I followed him the entire weekend so that you could get all the behind the scenes info on Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 return!

Daniel Ricciardo had a good first weekend with Alpha Tauri in his first outing at the 2023 Hungarian GP, he out qualified his teammate Yuki Tsunoda and demonstrated some good pace and a positive attitude towards his new F1 team. Despite all his good efforts for the weekend he was affected by Zhou Guanyu’s start in Budapest but he rebounded from this and still managed to look good at the end.

But that is what you would’ve seen on TV. I am here to show you all the behind the scenes action from the F1 paddock at the Hungaroring. Here is everything I saw of Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 return!

  1. It was interesting to see him using a schuberth helmet, considering that he has worn arai helmets his whole career. I presume its a red bull thing?

  2. Hahaha, the fact that Dan is an Aussie like you and I wouldn't have something to do with it, would it? 😁

  3. Hi Kym and everyone else who maybe reading this, there maybe a video or article out there explain in this that I haven't found and would love to be pointed to them. How does the finances of being an F1 photographer work? I can only imagine the travel and accommodation costs of following F1 around the world must be massive not to mention entry to races etc. So are photographers self employed and sell images/portfolios? Does F1 pay you to be there? How much can an image go for, who's paying for them? Maybe Im really undervaluing the value of an photo or have a completely wrong idea of how it all works but I can't work out how it is financially viable. Of course, if that's a trade secret, that makes sense. Keep it that way

  4. He's back, so? First screwed Red Bull by going to Renault, than underperformed there and screwed them and left them as well, he's not even a great midfielder and I saw more potential in Nick de Vries,

  5. Damn straight, Kym. You can be a Riccardo fan and a businessman at the same time, and with Daniel's return to the grid, he would be on other journalists' and bloggers' lead stories as well. Your presentation is unbiased and well constructed.

Also, I'm inclined to think that if Daniel ever became world champion, he would be inundated with droves of fans like Lewis or Max, but he would still spend time greeting them. He's just that kind of guy.
